Hi! First of all I think FS2Crew is a great product and I've not had any serious problems using it for months. But now suddenly my FO doesn't understand what I say to him. If I say something like "Preflight Checklist" or "Are you ready for the departure brief?" he'll most of the time understand nothing but "go ahead". I don't know a lot about speech recognition and system setup, but so far I never had this problem before. My system is a Toshiba Qosmio X500 laptop (Win7 x64) with a built in microphone on top of the screen, so nothing special here. It seems to me that maybe the microphone input level is to low somehow, although it is set at 100% (Sound taskbar symbol …

Is there a way to increase the volume of the boarding sound? I do have GSX and AES but the timing doesn't work out, so I would like to use the FS2 boarding sound only which is hard to notice. Thanks Peter

Hello! I'v got a problem. In preflight i enter transition altitude (for example 18 000), i don't get FS2Crew callout for transition altitude and then when i'm at FL310-FL320 - FO says "FL 100!" and only after that i can turn on central fuel pumps. (С and FO altimeters are synchronised, standby altimeter is not synchronised as written in manual).

When should you say to the ground crew "You are clear to diconnect and go to hand signals"I ask this because I say it after the pushback ends,but I have said it a couple of times that I cant remember exactly when and the first officer has said something like" I see the pin" .Is this the start of A.I ? or am I losing my mind waiting for NGX emergency!!

I read that the new Expansion Pack become a Female voice. But what is with Europe Female Pilot. Can FS2Crew create a European Female Pilot Voice. That would be very nice. Greets Nils

Bryan, I had to do a complete reinstall of FSX, what a bear it has been. Anyway, I've got it going now and have reinstalled the NGX with SP1c. I've installed the Voice Control version, and selected voice control in the config manager. The issue is it will not update the panel.cfg for some reason. I'm using "administrator rights", but it's still not getting updated. How should I proceed from here, please?

I can reproduce this very frequently. If you try to shut down fsx when you are in the middle of a flight (I tried disabling the HS as was discussed here, and it doesn't always work, there were times it didn't work), FSX goes into "not responding" mode in task manager. And if you kill it, sometimes it corrupts the profile (or something of that sort) so that next time you bring up FSX, it hangs as well around 278MB and never recovers. The only way to fix this is to delete all default flights in the FSX folder under documents and settings.

Hi Bryan I enjoy FS2Crew a lot and would love the function to maybe be able to set the Missed Approach altitude in the briefing page before the descent starts and the FO set this after the landing checklist. I always forget to set this and quite often see the PNF set this altitude in the MCP window after the landing checklist is called. It would be pretty cool to hear "missed approach altitude XXXX set". Many thanks for a great product.

Is it possible to replace some sound files from the PMDG 737 Fs2crew? I like to add some real sounds but it seems the sounds files are compressed in a rare file...

I wondered if when another update is due it would be possible to modify some of the required speech to make it more human? For example instead of having to say "before start procedure" could we prefix it with something like "right, ok shall we do the" then follow with "before start procedure?" Maybe it would be possible to have two or three alternative phrases we could put in front. That is just one example. It would be great if this could be extended to other areas of checklist. It would make one's interaction with the F.O. seem more human. After all, these guys sit in a fairly confined space for hours at time and surely don't talk to each other like robots. …

I might be completely wrong about this being a problem, maybe it is the intended behavior, but when I say runway entry procedure, FO seems to be cycling the landing/rwy lights on and off, but keeps them in off position. Is this normal? Shouldn't landing, runway turnoff, and taxi lights all be turned on during takeoff roll?

Even though I am dialing in a decision height of 213 ft, the FO thinks its 100 ft and thats when he is calling it out during landing. Also, does the difference between BARO and RADIO matter, in my case RADIO was set but BARO was set at 200 as well, so neither of those numbers were 100, not sure why FO thought it was.

Hi, I just wanted to know if it is possible to use the Vrinsight CDUII with FS2crew running ? Is there any issue while F/O cockpit preparation to type in the CDUII ? Has anyone encountered any issue ?

Hello, No matter what, my program will not recognise the phrase "five, green light". When I say it, the program hears "five three nine eight" which is nothing like it! MS Speech understands it ok - I have even added the individual words and the string into the dictionary manually and in any case, when I say it, MS Speech gets it right every time, even when I don't speak clearly. For FS2 Crew, I have tried all types of different pronunciations, volumes, accents, you name it but it consistently hears "five three nine eight". So consistently in fact, it makes me suspicious! The other words it can't handle are "kilograms" and "on", which it hears as armed 70% …

I have this extremely annoying and weird problem where by probably 50% of the flights I start, my microphone is not sending any commands to FO. It's not the microphone that is broken, when this happens, I can use other programs such as Skype or Teamspeak or FSInn to use my microphone, its just that when I speak, nothing happens. If I restart my FSX, same setup, things start working on their own. Headphones : Logitech G930 Addons : FSInn, NGX, REX, GEX, UTX I have the latest version 1.6 which I downloaded yesterday. This is extremely annoying having to restart everything, can someone please help me?

Is it possible to perform functions that the FO would normally do without messing up the flow? For instance, I would like to control the air packs and configure that panel myself before starting the engines. I have an external device (cougar MFD) that I can use instead of using a mouse. Does the FO check the position of a switch before operating it or is it coded to just toggle the switch. Did a quick search and did not find anything on this. Thanks Lance Gomes

I normally land manually, but today i decided to do a few autolands for variety. I'm descending with autopilot A engaged, and I have my Nav radios and course settings in sync for the pilot and FO. When I request "Select Command B", the FO says "Command A" and turns it off. I then need to manually engage both autopilots myself. This is a very minor issue for me, but I thought I'd look into it to see if it's come up before. Thanks for any replies.

Hi, Is it possible to add "bug speed" command in the next update ? When flying an approach manually with speed intervene or mcp speed, speed not set by vnav, I command "flaps 1", the fo sets flaps 1, I would like to say "bug speed 1" and the fo sets the mcp speed to flaps 1 speed. Hi All Not sure what I'm missing from the panel.cfg? These work in the 2D panel and the short cut key assignment works OK also. How do I disable FS2Crew when I feel like flying without it? Right now I am trying to do some pattern work but each time I start to taxi my left engine quits. Is this a known FS2Crew issue when not using it or do I have PMDG issues instead? Angelo Corredino

Oh my God, Bryan, I never thought I would meet it again! After my first flight (about 50 minutes duration) after quite a long time, again the crash as soon as I shut down the engines and the FO set the wheel chocks! I am speechless... :(

Hello, Having installed the latest version of the special bundle,and setup as the manual instructs, the "ON" button does not light up on tha startup operation, although the windows speech recognition is all systems go, speech training etc, appears normal. On inspecting the the FS"Crew speech engine ini the last entry states :- Current task: loading the command etc... Error code; Ox 80045052 Any help or suggestions appreciated. Hello, when the NGX via LAN / Mulitplayer i will get an SDK error. In single player it works. I treid these things without success: - Reinstalling SP1C - Reinstall FS2Crew Voice Edition PMDG 737 NGX The Cockpit is loading in 2D. I hope someone can help me Alexander
