PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

Hi, I raised a ticket but so far, I have not had a response - but I appreciate you have been busy and I am enjoying the 737NGX a great deal; outstanding product by the way! My problem - house suffered a severe power surge which damaged my PC and external hard-drive. I have got a new one and have re-installed FSX (plus Acceleration) and the J41, but I was not prompted to activate the product. When I load it up, have no cockpit instrumentation. I believe I am doing something wrong, so can someone point me on the right ahem 'course' I do apologise if this has been covered somewhere else, but I have done a search and found nothing specific to my issue. I'm doing a short flight (15-30 mins ATC dependant), so I program my FMS with a route, including departure, arrival and approach waypoints in the FPL before takeoff. Again also, as it's a short flight, I get vectored and use HDG mode for the entire flight and never enter NAV mode. With NAV1 and NAV2 set up with the ILS frequency, and in HDG mode, I press V/L once but never see the magenta pointer, I see VOR1 (green) I don't bother to press V/L again but dial the cou…

Been following the tutorial but pressing the on buttonn FMS does not do anything. It stays dark. Both Avionic masters are on.Not sure of what I missed.Thanks,dickdavis229

I have a couple of easy questions 1) on the J41 checklist - what does the little airplane icon mean next to some of the checklist items? First flight of the day? I didn't see anywhere specifically where that was indicated. 2) Is there a zoom / scale knob for the EHSI ? Thanks...easy ones...

J41 FMC: When using the FMC for standard flight operations from X to Y all works as intended. But when I try - during the flight - to delete (ERASE) the FPL and replace it by a new one, I fail. Example: On a flight from EDFM to EDDS (this is a short flight) I am located abeam EDRY, where I erase the flightplan and enter a direct to EDRY (which is about 20km away). Doing so the FMC shows my a distance of 2950NM. The ND (Map mode) does not show a line either. However, checking the CLOSEST AIRPORTS page, all data seem to be fine. What am I doing wrong? Some of you may have seen my recent topic of moving backwards into FS9, for those of you haven't I am moving back into FS9. I have looked at reviews for both the C and D models and I am wondering what the difference is besides the aircraft specifications. Avsim does give the C .5 more stars for a 4.5 rating. Is there a huge difference between the two aircraft?

From reading this forum, it appears there are issues with panel state saving. Is this correct? I use FSUIPC to auto-save, and noticed that on reload, a lot of things are not restored (AP states, flap state, light switches etc.) Are there plans to fix this so that the full state is saved on a flight save? This is an awesome plane, but the lack of a full save is very annoying when trying to re-fly approaches, or recover from an FSX crash.

Evening all- I have been really enjoying getting to know the J41. I finally can run through the startup procedure with causing burned up engines - hurray! It wasn't too bad once I followed the directions. However, here is a question. What am I missing to bleed off hydraulic pressure to put the props into a feathered state? I have pulled the condition levers all the way back (including the release buttons) but the props appear to stay in the un-feathered state. I want to actually see the pressure bleed off and props drop to feathered... I am missing something simple - just don't know what it is. Shutting the hydraulics? Back to the AOM.

From straight and level with AP engaged, how do you set a climb or descent rate without having to disengage the AP, maually fly to the desired VS and then re-engage the AP?Thanks

XP 64 bit, 195.62 nvidia drivers, got some nasty bezel lines i never seen before after updating nvidia drivers, is there a quick fix, or is PMDG working on an update for this? As you can see in the following pictures, this "graphical glitch" presents a horrible looking cockpit. It takes away much of the enjoyment of flying the aircraft because the bezel lines moving everywhere have a tendency to make you nauseous when turning etc. I paid quite a bit of $$$ for this aircraft and I am not satisfied with the product. Hi, I just recently purchased the J41. I think it's a great product. It really shows that a lot of effort has gone into designing this plane :-) Yesterday I started going through the tutorial. It was getting late so after I finished the preflight section I saved the flight. Today I loaded the flight and I discovered that the ramp manager state was not in the same state as when I saved the flight yesterday. The GPU was not enabled so the cockpit was pretty much dead. Also the landing elevation has a different value than the one I put in yesterday. I realize this may be a side effect of the GPU being disconnected. Hi ! I have 2 requests for you : i had a problem with my FSX.CFG so i delete it and recreate an another one. Since this issue, i have no more sound for condition lever flight when it s activated (i get the condition lever taxi sound however).Any idea ? This is not a big issue, but i m pretty sure, there is a link with my FSX.CFG replacement. Then, i would like to know what is the process to start up engine during a flight ? Almost since I bought this beauty I have been waiting for the service pack to come out. One of the most annoying things is the lack of proper initialization (panel save). This almost invariably led to burnt engines. I think a service pack would greatly improve this wonderful a/c. For that same reason I am not jumping yet on the 737 NGX.

well hello there as some of you might know i have been working on getting the GF-MCP-PRO work together whit the PMDG J41. And soon a upgraded version would be posted at FSUIPC forum. but i would inform you when it is online. So what to expect? well led and displays runs as Lua fiels and the buttons as Macro fiels. how does it work? it requires the FSUIPC registrated version to work, and set up as told on the FSUIPC forum. FSX Gold with Acceleration, 3Ghz quad-core, ATI Radeon with 512mb, 16Gb memory. I already have the 747-400 sim installed without issues. I just bought the BAE4100, installed it without issues, activated successfully and installed several repaints. All OK and all show up in my aircraft collection. The problem came when I loaded the aircraft for a flight. ( I used the American Airline paint scheme ) It never fully loads, but crashes short. This happened twice in a row on first startup. Hi! I still haven´t figured out how to change the display range of the ND. It is terribly small in the first place and when a few waypoints are on screen I cannot make out individual points. It has to be possible to change the range....but how??

On July 10th of this year I purchased the PMDG BAe JetStream 4100 software. I need to re-download this software package and I opened a support ticket this past weekend with no response. How long does it normally take for a response to re-download ? Maybe the 737NGX support issues are overwhelming the support desk...
