PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

I know you can install these into FSX but don't you still have to have FS9 installed? can you still install them if you don't have fs9 I'm very interested in getting this, it was one of my favs for fs9

It means the difference between an i5 2400 and an i5 2500, 4Gb RAM as opposed to 8Gb and a slightly different graphics card.Would the former, cheaper system be enough to run PMDG's products smoot…

Hello out there,I have read a few articles here concerning visual interferance on the VC, but nothing sounds any thing like similiar to my problem. What I get is huge white flashing squares 1/4 of the size of the screen,moving in a rotating pattern all across the screen - never ending!Clearly I cannot fly this aircraft like this it's impossible, which is a shame. Does anyone know of this problem and how to cure or fix this. I hope so.I have a high end spec PC - ditto Screen - I'm not very technical really but would welcome any help from anyone.Thanks in advance Ian Zetland

I am having a weird issue with the props on the 1900C. I also have the 1900D, and it does not have this problem. It seems that all of my scenery is disappearing behind the props (Trees, buildings, clouds), leaving only the basic landscape. This is different than the solid black prop issue, as the propellers are perfectly transparent. Here are some pictures:

I purchased the JS4100 version 1.00.0970 in September 2009. I'm trying to rebuild my FSX installation but don't have a copy of the authentication email. Hello all,I have the boxed version of J41 and it seems that Im missing something. Selecting the airplane from the FSX menu it doesn't load the PMDG Airac database as it does with my PMDG MD-11. Second, when I load the aircraft standing on the runway of a selected airport, the cockpit is in a warning status with flashing light on the Master Caution button (well it looks like that) and full power on the engines. Obviously it feels that something is wrong without me touching anything. Third, behind the box it says that the activation is possible via the internet. I can't see any activation during installation or after installation. And last, I can't find the saved tutoria…

I have owned the J41 for almost two years. It's a great plane let down by one unsolved bug: The occasional flickering rectangles in the VC. I understand that PMDG say to select the medium VC in the configuration manager. As a temporary fix thats ok but as Vin posted that on the 1st July 2010 I think that 16 months is rather a long time for a temporary fix especially as it reduces the quality of the product.Tabs also posted on 29th April 2010 saying that SP 2 would be issued soon and would solve this problem. Gentlemans (and ladies if there are any...)I have found very extensive manuals for Bendix/King GNS-XLS managment system (https://www.bendixking.com/PilotGuides) which is obviously installed in the BAe JetStream 41. My question is - would it be any benefit for PMDG's JS41 model virtual pilot to dig through hundreds of pages? I mean, does the PMDG modeled FMC so close to the real stuff? I haven't fly this plane much (still waiting for SP2 hopefully), and such reading would help definitely, since I am good only at Boeing stuff as of now.

Hello, is there a way to increase the distance of contact of the ATIS? Indeed, the 30 nm are too just to prepare effectively with the arrival runway, arrival STAR and approach to get into the FMC!In good coopSylvainWell forget this, just have to listen ATIS freq on com 2 !!!RgdsSyR

Hi,First of all my knowledge of SIDS and STARS is very limited.Yesterday I was trying to create a FP from KATL to KCLT, in order to do this I used the latest Navigraph NDAC and AIRAC files.Why do the names of the NDAC and AIRAC SIDS not match? For example: on the KATL NDAC charts you have - to name a few - DAWGS 4, DOOLY 4 and JOGOR 3, but the correspondant AIRAC SIDS are named differently: DAWGS 5, DOOLY 5 and JOGOR4, is this a problem?Ok, then for example I choose RW 8R, DAWGS 5 and for my transition SPA. But the waypoints of the SID (HD 092, RO079, RONII, IGEBE) in the FMC, are nowhere to be found on the NDAC charts from Navigraph; so what am I doing wrong?Thanks in ad…

HI I am getting little bit fed up with this planne I bought it for good name of PMDG as I have 747 8 i version an d never had any probs with that always only enjoy . But this plane it very nice and all things working but up untill it shuts the fsx . Latelly I am gertting eror of such have know idea why but Ia m sure it is bug in navigation of the plane . Hi, after follow properly all the steps to make B1900C working on FSX y have found that the "turn_coordinator gauge" in front of the copilot (VC) is with the perimeter completely black, y mean like with a missed texture ( without the frame with screws), and y have add the cessna 208 gauge properly from the FS9, so does anybody have the same problem with this issue?Thanks you,Raul Aubele.

Hello.. I am flying the 1900 C in FSX with 3 monitors and am encountering a flicker across the windshield when flying in the VC View in rain. When switching to the 2D view, the problem goes away, but the instruments aren't visible with the 3 monitor setup..... Any ideas? THanks Bob.

I reinstalled the J41 on my upgraded pc. The plane is in the aircraft menu.When I load it, an activation window opens up. How do I get the code back? I didn't save it from my old pc. Eytan Ornstein

I don't think there is are hot spots to bring up the EADI or EHSI are there? That is a very nice feature to have available when there is no 2D panel and characters are small when using high res monitors. Is that a difficult programming task?Noel
