PMDG Turboprops (Legacy Versions)

Okay, had the JS41 a few days now, just done further testing.And all I can say is...Come on PMDG, play the game!On the runway at EGBB I saw 10 frames per second less than the NGX.I also have white flickering lines all around the PFD, GPWS switch and adjacent switches.I also got the texture coruption others have talked about. Huge triangles appearing.And not a single word from PMDG in regard to the service pack talked about so long ago.Sorry, but I'm quite disgusted and feel the product isn't worth the money I paid.No where near polished enough for a product that was released so long ago.I don't wish to upset anyone, but that's how i feel.

Hi guys,So I'm going through the J41 AOM by PMDG and a real world J41 flight manual that I got off the internet and I have a few questions thus far if you don't mind (finer points really).#1 VCACS system operation:I'm guessing for cooling the config is VCACS to 'on', fans either hi or lo and the recirc switch hi or lo?How about for heating? I'm guessing VCACS 'Fans Only' and the recirc switch hi or lo; with the heating switch 'on'.#2 Pressurisation: After initial power up I get and error code 'A013' and I'm unable to set landing elev unless the switch is set to manual and then back to auto. I have compiled a 2 page Checklist which I use to fly the Jetstream.This was gleaned from the AOM and Tutorial.It lists correctly the sequence from Cold and Dark, including the Condition / Unfeather / Startlock sequence.I have laminated it and use it each time I fly.Available at. Hi all this only happens in only one of my livieries being the eastern pmdg one, all my others work fine, I have tried using the install fix me option in the installer but no joy, so before my next step to do an uninstall and reinstall option was wondering if any ideas to my problem. The problem iam having is when i enter the sim and move my control stick either left or right , the pmdg4100 control columne moves completely right or left it doesn't centre. same with up or down it goes fully foward or fully back and doesnt centre. Hello!I have buyed this aircraft.. and when I try to move the yokes with the joystick some of the liveries move.. others not.If I choose the PMDG livery default.. I can move the throttle and yokes, but once I have power... trying to move the throttle.. it don't move the thrust levers.. and moving the joystick don't move the yokes and the latch is off.How can it be? what is wrong?Because without that I cannot fly!! and I don't have problems with other planes.Thanks!

I have an issue when flying the JS41, I hear what is best described as a "clicking" sound coming over my USB headsets (a really fast, faint "tick-tick-tick-tick-tick"). Is this normal? Also, I have FSX set up to send regular sounds through my main speakers and voice through my USB headsets, yet I hear certain sounds coming through my headset that aren't voice (like the winding up sound when starting the engines). Anyone know how to set it up to send those through my main speaker?

I have noticed that the default Garmin GPS/moving map seems to function differently with the J41. I have been making my flight plans without a problem. When I bring up the GPS only one segment of the flight plan shows up, not the entire plan. Also on the moving map instead of all segments of the route being displayed only the current segment will show. I see the current line in the correct magenta color, but not the next segment in white. When I get to the next waypoint it generates a new magenta line and so on. Is this the correct behavior? I have been using FS Flight Commander to make my flight plans. It seems to work fine. My other PMDG products, B1900, 737 NGX don't …

Hello EveryoneI have noticed in my last few flights that even when the throttles are pulled back into reverse on shutdown that after a few minutes the props are in a very coarse pitch again. I used the unfeather switch several times which put the props in a correct orientation but moments later the props are in a coarse pitch situation again.Does anyone have any idea wha is going on here?CheersBarra

according to FSX, the empty weight of the J41 is 14,144 lbs.in the FMC, it's different (it's 14,600 something). i find i can manually change it in my PLAN page but why is it different to begin with?

Not sure why, its been working for a long time but I get no display on the 3d and 2d pop-up window of my FMC.I did have Prepar3d installed but didnt try to port the JetStream over. However, when I uninstalled P3D it took out a font needed for Active Sky so I had to put that back in. Is there possibly something else it removed I dont know about causing the FMC not to show.When I turn the FMC on theres a delay and then I get just a yellow rectangle in center of the screen as if it is try to show something.I tried uninstalling the JS41 using the exe that installs it and reinstall and nothing. Looked at my FSX.dll and didnt see the PMDG tags in there so I added them but st…

Hello, I purchased the Jetstream 41 and I thought it was time to add some liveries. After I downloaded the ones I wanted I went on in install them. I am using windows 7 (x86) and I have made sure that the right destination for the file is correct but after the install process the livery has not been installed. Everything I try does not work.I also have the same problem with the NGX. The livery manager just crashes every time I try to add a livery.HELP!Matt

I use REX to get weather data(EGNT),in local pressure is 978hPa,but when i click B(default fsx set) button is get 1013hPa,and i check in fsx weather condition was same 1013hPa,it's fsx bug?And i set 978hPa to altimeter,pointer is 0,is normal? If set to NGX could be -xxx altimeter.

Hi Guys,I have just bought the J41 and installed it with FSX SP2.The trouble is that I can't change anything in the config manager. When I open it, the default is 'medium' and 'beige'. I select 'high' and 'grey', click 'save settings', get a message confirming that all has been saved, and then I exit. However when I reopen FSX and load the J41 it gives me the beige panels again! I want grey panels and realistic (high) settings but I can't get it to save!Any idea's?ThanksRichard
