I finally installed the the 'mona lisa', md-11, after much frustration brought on me, by me.It was a simple overlook while buying. I thought i had registered at the store when i bought the 'combo', you read that right, i bought the combo.Anyway, it was a password thing. Hi Cant some one tell me if there is special way to install new livery to the pmdg md11 for fsx.I installed one and I went to the aircraft cgf file I copy the new livery info and I give the comtinuation number for the new livery and saved. but it dosent show the new aircraft in fsx, I also down loaded the addon liverys from pmdg site and folled the instructions, the aircraft cfg shows the liverys but still no aircraft in fsx.

hi i buyed the PMDG MD-11X its the best plane out there!but when i wanna pushback with reverse thrust the plane does not pushbeck i activate pushback 50%N1 reverse thrust but the plane does not pushback???is that normal,i mean planes can psuhback with reverse thrust.Yunus

Hello all,I've been having issues with Flight Sim X appcrashing on me at various points in flights with the PMDG MD-11. It happens when I am tuning inputs in my USB attached Saitek Pro Flight Multi Panel Autopilot. Specifically, when I enter a new altitude or airspeed into the dial on the controller, FSX Freezes and cannot recover. I have already noticed that I frequently see conflicting information on the controller compared to what is displayed in the FSX cockpit. For instance, my IAS on the USB controller will say 123 and in the sim plane, it reads 236. As far as FSX is concerned, the planes gauges are ALWAYS right. Hi,I installed recently on my system the saitek multi panel and switch panel.Some functions like the gear up and gear down works fine but most indication for altitude, heading, cursor, speed on the multi panel differ from the 3d cockpit readings. Is there any way to synchronize the multi panel with the md-11 3d panel?Pierre

Hello All,After weeks of tweaking and reinstall after reinstall (trying to fix OOM errors), I'm back up and flying :)However, last night on a short flight from KLAS to KLAX, I had a CTD. Everything was running smooth before this happened. The fatal error exception stated TCAS2V7.DLL.I'm runningFSX SP2PMDG MD-11 (latest SP)FS2crew SP 3Radar Contact V4 for FSXWindows 7Any ideas?? Good evening,I've a question: during the approach phase when i select the runaway on my fms, i suppose that on my fms, into the Nav section it will appear the ils frequency and the right glidescope, isn't correct?But i've tried 2 times and in the both flights i've to insert manually the ils frequency and the glidescope data. I a bug or i've simply to wait to be more near the runaway?Regards

Hi I like to find out if there is a solution to the nose tires on the pmdg md11 sinking went the brakes are aplied.today I came from a long flight and I was looking at the acft in the taxiway went I have to used the brakes the acftnose tires sunk in the ground it looks like the nose strut have no motion there is no compression. so I like to find out If any one have the same problem and if there is any solution.any help will be apresiated. :(

I have small problem , I have the B 747-400x and the MD-11, My problem is wend I change from the 747 to the md11 the md 11 instrument pane is black none of the instrument come on the only way is back is wend I live the fsx and them reloded. it seen that I have to get out and them return to be able to see the panel. it also hapend if I change from one livery to a nother.

Hi. I was just wondering what the RTM message means in the PFD where the ILS ident and dme would show. It has happened to me a few times after tuning an ILS but being out of range. Once within range of the ILS I get the normal ILS indications.I've searched the manuals for 'rtm' but found nothing and I've quickly searched this forum but found nothing.Anyone tell me the answer????Martin.

Hey guys, I've been trying to get the Reality XP WX500 gauge to work with the MD-11 VC. I am already maxed in window size so I would need to swap it with another gauge rather than just add it. I have been searching forums and tried various methods but no luck,,, yet. I was thinking about the SD since it's the only one I think I could live without. But would be open to any 'working' suggestions,,, FO's CDU, ND, PFD etc, as long as it's the FO's (ok, even maybe the ped's CDU.I bought FS Panel Studio but can't edit the panel the way I can other aircraft. Howdy- below is a post I just made in the FSDT forums in regards to scenery acting up since an comp upgrade. I'm posting here becuase it happens alot quicker when using the md11... I understand that LSAS is meant to be simulated according to the real plane. My general understanding of LSAS is that its duty is mainly trimming the stabilizer to assist in vertical (longitudinal) control of the plane when flown by hand. One of its functions seems to be a "pitch hold" feature, i.e. when elevator pressure on the yoke is released, the pitch attitude is kept by LSAS. Hi all,I want to be sure I understand this correctly. I've been searching for a fuel planner for the PMDG MD-11 and I have not been able to find it. When I make a flight, I'm not sure how much fuel I need to load on to the MD-11. On the MFS, there's a Fuel loader in the shortcut's page and I understand that I can actually load the fuel on to the MD-11 using the FMS. My question is does the FMS automatically know how much fuel to load on to the MD-11 fuel tanks based on using the destination and arrival entered on page 1 of 3 on the INIT page so that I'll have the correct amount of fuel loaded? I am getting great enjoyment flying the MD11. I started my career on this aircraft by going through the tutorial flight and had no problems at all. However, since then I am getting unexplained malfunctions that have started appearing over the last couple of weeks.1. On approach, I select the APPR/LAND function and get all the correct indications and the green box. However, at 50 feet the autopilot drops out,the spoiler lever disarms and whatever the visibility, I have to land manually.2. Hi,I reported this in another thread but was unable to produce. I'm currently at the end of a flight and trying to manually land at TNCM, and I'm unable to turn off the autopilot completely. Pressing the soft disconnect button twice gives me roll control, but no pitch control whatsoever. HiI have uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest patch. The problem I have is this. The MD11 passenger version works fine and I can load a panel state fine and I get the message Initializing and then the secs display. If I load the freighter version I cannot load a panel state. I don't get the message about the panel state initializing and the gauges are black- blank. Like the aircraft has no electrics. I try initializing the after start save panel and the engines start but still the gauges stay blank. Hi pilots or pilots-to-be, I've just gotten my awesome MD-11 and I'm very happy with it, however It's "to hard" for me to use. When the annoying lady says something I freak out and I try to solve it but I don't. When I disengage my autopilot like click AFS OVRD 1 and 2 the robo-lady says "autopilot" forever, and when I'm taking off It says "Stabilizer" continuously. I'm very un-familiar with this aircraft since I just got it and It operates very differently, than Boeing! Regards, Andrew Coz
