PMDG MD-11 (Legacy Version)

so this problem happened when I first installed the PMDG MD 11, but some how it stopped, now after about 4 months it just struck out of nowhere along with some fatal fsx errors as well, I attatched what it looks like whenever you A. render from windowed to full screen, B. go outside the plane and turn the view C. select a new plane. Any help would be much appreciated!

I just noticed I have no bitmap vc side views inside the cockpit in the 2D mode? Is this normal please? My vc view works okay. FS9

Hey guys. Ive tried every fix I could find online to fix this, and am rather unhappy at the moment. I cannot even select the MD-11 from the free flight menu without FSX crashing. I have sent 2 requests for help with no answer now. There are no error messages, FSX just dies and restarts, I have uninstalled and re installed twice now...and oh guess what I can't download the installer again because the link expires after a week. So yeah...help please?

Hi friends,I change my OS system to WIN 7 x64.When I start the MD 11 I set the Brake with STRG+ .,after I push the pedal down and the Lever in the 3 D cockpit is goeing up.Then I give power but the md is not rolling the brake is not release.All the other Aircraft from Fsx are release the brake with CH Pedal. In my old OS System win xp 32 bit I have no error with the CH Pedal. Can anyone help me?.

I love the simple all white world cargo paint that is on the PMDG website except that it has the Air Canada logo as well. Has anyone made that repaint with just the world titles on the aircraft? Thanks!

Could we 737NGX customers expect a good discount on the MD11 too?

Every single time I load the pmdg md-11, Microsoft closes out and says it has stopped working. I re-installed it and deleted some payware aircraft that might of corrupted the dll.mxl, and that still didn't work. please help, i payed good money for this aircraft and i get this... :(?

Hello, I have been flying the MD-11 for a couple of months now. Yesterday, I tried to load up the MD-11 and upon selecting it in the Free Flight window, FSX crashes with one of those "fatal error" windows. This was after flying successfully earlier in the day and for months. I sometimes get an error about {smartassembly} needing to be on the computer. I have searched the forum and the web for possible fixes. So far I have spent three hours over the past day doing:- Uninstalling MD-11 and re-installing- Repairing FSX- Removing all Visual .NET frameworks (I can't get 3.5 to reinstall due to Windows 7 giving me an error saying "You must use Control Panel's Turn on and off Wi…

Hi,Would it be possible to incorporate a Throttle Position Indicator as the one in the new 737 NGX?I personally find it one of the most outstanding features of the NGX knowing where exactly your throttles are especially when you disengage the A/P.I don't know if we could have it also in the MD-11 through a patch or whatever. Hey guys,As a dutchman I like to fly from and to Schiphol Airport (EHAM) I very often get runway 27 assigned as my runway to land on. But there is a problem with the route towards it. Look at the screenshot I took to see what I mean. Has anybody had a problem with the little hand that grabs the nobs or the little +/- magnifying glass flickering in the virtual cockpit? Everything still works but it gets anoying. If anybody knows of the cause and hopefully a setting to get rid of it, i'd love to know.Thanks in advance.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with the MD-11 and other aircraft. If I am flying a complex aircraft and have a lot of the instrumentation in view, and I select a drop-down menu in the full-screen mode, I often receive a CTD. Any help towards this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have loaded a route using VROUTE from RCTP-VHHX. when i go to the FMC to load the flight plan i am getting an uanble to load flt plan message. Am i missing something??? thanksAl

Hello, In FSX, is there a way to load the Cold and Dark .sav file automatically? I've searched the manuals (might have missed it) and the forum but cannot find any replies regarding this. The aircraft always starts powered up and ready to go, it must be loading these settings from somewhere - I wanted to do the same but in a cold and dark config. Thank you.

Hi everyone I have been using the MD11 for sometime now and have found it to be one of the most enjoyable airliners to fly. Now I have got to grips with Airways Star and Sids, I would like to find out what planned routes the FMC has. OR does it take its info from the FSX flight Planner? I have updated the FMC data to the latest version from Navigraph and obtained several airport details but the FMS does not seem to have UK planed routes, is this correct and is it only US routes? When aim either taxing or in flight, sometimes I hit the wrong key and my throttles no longer work in unison. What key stroke will lock them in unison again?I cannot find info on this in the manual.Phil

I just tried to open a support ticket to have the installation counter reset, due to a complete reinastllation of my PC after buying 737-NGX and problems when installing. I am having problems with fsx on approach these days.I have had several 737 NGX CTD on approach. Now my approach at 9000 ft to 4000 ft to monastir (I godt the Aerosoft Scenery) just CTD with pretty good fps. Now I have low fps with 737 NGX at approach as other have. But I had approach ctd with flytampas Athens. Though I have GEX UTX and Angelo Tassoglous freeware sceneries installed in Greece. And I GEX Africa installed with Aerosoft Monastir.I have searched for double AFCADs and think I have removed alle the double entries. Are anyone who know what caused the CTD? Hi I have recently bought the boxed disc version for FSX. I have installed the aircraft with anti virus off but when FSX is started, only parts of the aeroplane are visible, ie in the selection windon the fuselage is visble but no windows, wings but no engines , tail but only the right engine cowling. Start fsx and only an outline of the cockpit panels are visible. Also when initialising, the screen image shakes. Any ideas? The fsx default aircraft are fine. ThanksCraig

Is there any way to shut off all the annoying systems? (so they stop screaming in my ear and it doesn't crash at land because I don't have throttle control)

Hello, for some reason when I'm on my flight plan my MD 11 goes into overspeed, even though the speed is set to the selected FMS speeds, I had the CI at 99 so I thought it was just overflying the plane, I brought my CI down to 80 and my cruise speed was around 350kts, and it will just jump from 320kts to 370kts and the plane pitches down to correct then I have to hit FMS under the speed hold on the autopilot panel, only 20 mins later it will do it again, any ideas?
