PMDG MD-11 (Legacy Version)

Hello all, We have two beautiful PMDG MD11 pax (FS9) one where there is PMDG in black inscription out side above the windshield, and one without. I would want to know, how to remove the PMDG? In which texture is PMDG? I looked with DXTBmp, but I did not find. Thank you for the information.

Hi, I recently bought the MD11 PMDG software. I realized immediately that on take off, when the speed goes up rapidly, i reduce the thrust to adjust the speed. Just when i do that the power in the engines drops and then the engines don't respond at all; then go to idle. Any thoughts as to why that may be happening? Thanks

I purchased the PMDG 777 and MD-11 couple of days ago, and I install both of them on my FSX ( With Acceleration Pack ). The 777 worked perfect on FSX, however, the MD-11 didn't. As you can see in the picture, the HDG was correct, and I was on the runway of RJAA, but the ND indicated my HDG is not the same as the runway's, that confused me, does anyone had this problem?????? Hi Guys,I have been out there in the world wide web, far away from the PMDG Forum. Out there I found some performance charts for SwissAir's MD11. They reached up to 2000NM. Not perfect, but better than nothing. Then I took a calculator and played around with some numbers.Then I used my little php knowledge and wrote some lanes of code. Hello All, I use personalized Keyboard Commands to quickly pull up different panels like "TAB+O" for overhead panel or "TAB+F" for FMS1. This works great during the sim to quickly pull different panels without having to mouse over the specific points to pull up the panels. However, these saved keyboard commands will not save the next time I power up the sim. I save these keyboard commands by going to: Add Ons, PMDG & SAVE. I even tried to save the keyboard command state by using the FSX save, which saves everything but the editied keyboard commands. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts what Im doing wrong or ommiting? I ran a program to scan FSX for errors, it's called ACA2013. It brought back an error that the mdl file PMDG_MD11-PW_FSX.MDL.mdl does not exit What is pointing to an MDL.mdl file?

Hello, I bought 9 month ago the MD -11 . I perfectly use it, no problem and so on, but once my computer had problems and i had to reboot it. I made it and reinstal FSX, and my MD 11 But now, the are a big script problem on my PFD. Here is a picture of the bug, please help me find the solution.

Hello everybody, i've got a weird problem with a flightplan entry. Everytime I try to enter a flightplan into the FMS with EDDF as destination or arrival the FMS freezes FSX. For eample the entry EDDF/KORD will freeze FSX. The weird thing is that the problem seems to be limited to EDDF, other airports entries (EGLL, LSZH you name it) don't have the problem. This wasn't always the case, at one point I could use EDDF as arrival or destination. I've tried different things to solve the issue, I reinstalled the default scenery of EDDF, used a different AIRAC ( even the originally shipped one) or tried to load different panel states, but nothing seems to…

I'm having a problem while loading the MD11. When the 15sec load ends the FMC reset itself. After this I got the message "INITIZALIZE ZFWCG", and in the F-PLN page I got no T/C or T/D, and all altitude and speed lines are empty. Any one could help? This is what it likes.

Has anyone any idea why when using a Skylease MD-11F repaint, when looking out of the 2D window, all I see is a black view, (only in the 2D, not in any other views)yet when using an Avient MD-11F repaint it is clear? And the latter displays 4 CRTs whereas the former only 3.

Hi all, last week my fsx install which up until now had been running perfect crashed on start up, after much investigation I decided to delete the cfg and start again. Fsx was ok again, I one at a time allowed my add ons back in and found it was my pmdg md11 that was causing the problem, I un installed all my pmdg liveries and mcphat hd liveries and the pmdg md11 base software, then re installed them all, everything was ok again until today when the problem has returned. I've run the MD-11 tutorial flight EGLL-LSZH. on approach my doesn't decrease which leads to me performing a missed approach. Everything else works fine. any suggestions on my speed issues?

When i in the MD-11 cockpit and i go to the top menu bar and select Views; instruments panels; Glarshield, FWD Center Pedestal, and EIS control panel, nothing opens and the pointer on my mouse turns into a disc like display and appears to be spinning. the hand that comes up over items in the Fight Deck you can select no longer appears. You can still operate but it makes it very difficult. any suggestions

I love this aircraft, however with FS2 Crew's voice editions, I've became impartial to the NGX largely for the immersion factor. I love wide body trijets, however we are reduced to only the button version due to a lack of a SDK release for the MD-11. This in my opinion reduces the immersion factor immensely. I think we still have quite a following behind the MD-11. Would PMDG ever be inclined to release a MD-11 SDK so the boys over at FS2Crew could develop a voice edition?

Hi everybody I fly FSX with Accel Pack and the usual bunch of add-ons, including Global Ultimate Eur, UTX Eur, Aerosoft VFR Germany West and a number of airports in that wider area. Guess where I live Ever since I installed the DX10 Scenery Fixer (it is v2.0), my MD11 crashes to the desktop a few minutes after take-off after whiting out the screen and displaying an "unrecoverable error" message. Other planes (default or add-on) don't seem to be affected. The problem does not go away when I unselect "DX10 preview". Hi all! I update Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit fresh install and i buy second time PMDG MD-11 because i don't find installation file. Now every flight MD-11 VC panel freeze (CRT Screens, PFD, ND, EAD and SD) but plane continue flying without control, after about 30 second VC wake up and take control again (i don't have to do anything). After that fly is not stable, autopilot can't follow FMS Nav course direct it's fly side to side course very long time.I fly all time in VC and that happens ground and fly. All time FSX is stable and works smooth. In Vista everything works perfect. I run everything as admin and i have reinstalled…

I was getting a fatal error whilst trying to load the MD-11 so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall, When I insert the disc and click install I get a box saying "could not write license data" and to contact support, Any ideas? Lee

Hi, I was flying between Rio, Brazil, and El Alto, La Paz last night (around midnight zulu). I was using ASN for weather, and found that due to the temps being around ISA+26 to ISA+30 that the aircraft had incredibly poor performance. I initially cruised at FL320, but due to decaying airspeed (GW ~500,000 lbs), I had to descend. I ended up down at FL150, and approaching mountainous terrain. I evetually got her back up to FL360 to clear the mountains and reduce fuel consumption. Does anyone else see such poor performance at these kinds of temperatures? At one point she was totally incapable of climbing above FL180. How does this kind of performance compare to r…

About every other flight with the PMDG MD11 I have a rudder problem after landing. It gets "stuck" to the left or right and play heck trying to taxi in a straight line because of it. I have FSX with Windows 7, yes it was installed with Admin checked, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Any suggestions?

Have noticed that upon touchdown the spoilers will not deploy. Have set them up thru flight sim and FSUIPC, and nothing seems to help. Have searched thru my assignments to see if there are any conflicts regarding the spoilers but have found none. Hoping another FS9 user may have some insight.
