My FLIGHT PLAN (Passing over the North Pole):PANC - WP1 (N73 00.0/W150 00.0) - WP2 (N89 58.0/W150 00.0) - WP3 (N89 50.0/E030 00.0) - WP4 (N73 00.0/E030 00.0) - EFHKFL350, descent to ALT1000ft between WP2 and WP3, no Surface WindsAiming at the Magnetic direction has been always applied on the HDG HOLD inspite of being under the TRU heading mode, I have changed the mode from NA to HDG HOLD (167

When viewing from the cockpit at night, there is more lighting on the right side of the aircraft than on the left. I have pushed pulled and twisted every lighting knob I can and to no avail. I cannot get the left side to be as bright as the right. The lighted area is well defined on the right side in sort of a triangle shape.When I use an outside view the lights are all there.Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.ThanksDon L.

Hi!I've been trying to install my FSX MD-11 and I can't seem to do it.I fill out my email, password and my order number and after that, I get a certificate warning, where I select Yes and then I get an error saying that User account could not be validated, and I get a prompt to contact support.My information is correct completely.I don't understand why it is not working.Any suggestions?Thanks,Teo

It must be at least three weeks since anyone asked this :( , so here goes again ...Any chance of getting this FS9 livery fixed ? Hello.I'd like to ask, what is the reason of having transfer pumps in the main tanks? It appears that I can achieve the same results (eg. tank 1 feeding engines 1 and 2) just using crossfeeds and main pumps, without even touching transfer pumps switches. Are they installed just in case of failure of main pumps, or there is other reason?Moreover, I'd like to know (just of curiosity), if there is a way of transferring fuel to the tail tank when the automatic fuel management is turned off? I could only transfer fuel from tail, and I don't know how to do that the other way around.And, while we are at the topic of fuel, there is a quotation from the manual: I'm a bit confuse…

I would like to know if my DOME light is operating correctly. Its seems that after the FSX update... tthe dome light ONLY works while an engine or engines are running.....when I shut them off, I loose my dome light.. EVEN IF i am hooked to EXT or APU power. Hi,My problem is that when I'm starting the tutorial 1 for the MD-11, I use the load manager to load the aircraft as it says on the tutorial, but my ZFW and ZFW CG is different from the tutorial.I'm using the same aircraft with the same engines and settings , even the same livery. What can I be doing wrong,? Is this a bug? I've tried many times , and get the same results.My ZFW= 195.041 / Tutorial ZFW= 177.9My ZFW CG= 23.1/ Tutorial ZFW CG= 28.2Thanks,Kaue. :(

Due to re-occurring issues, I was forced to delete then reinstall the MD-11, which I purchased before the 1.10 update. Does the current 1.20 contain all the updates? There is no 1.10 listed on the download section.

Hi there guys & galsI have a question about the FMC fix page in MD11. I have seen, at a buddy of mine, that in his FS2004, PMDG747, there can be inserted a fix in his FMC where he can choose BRG/DIS for that fix, so that on the PFD, it shows a green circle in a radius of whatever he entered.The question is then: Can I do the same in the MD11's fix page? It could be nice because often in the US, radar contact tells me to cross at 12000, 40nm from "...waypoint".It's kind of hard to explain so I made him take a screenshot.Thx in advance

Hello everyone, just had to reinstall FSX, now i'm going to reinstall again the MD11 but i can't find anymore the update 1.10 on the PMDG website there is just the latest update 1.20.Now where can i find again the 1.10 update to install before the 1.20?Thank youJaco

This is kinda strange, because I've never had any kind of issue with PMDG products before. I just purchased the MD-11 for FSX and after it installed it trys to install the C++ program, which crashes. Just for fun I look to see if its installed in FS. It loads up and 'sounds' good but none of the panels show up and when I look at the plane from the exterior, none of the 'moveable' items work (doors, flaps, rudders).Anyone have any ideas? Just curious.. I usually fly multiplayer with friends on the weekend.. We are currently flying the MD-11s. I have noticed that the landing gear doesn't show on the other flyers aircraft.. Wondering if someone might know of a fix for this.. We have no problems with the 747s or 737s..

With 747 in FS9 there where a option internal or fsuipc. With internel i get this fault to in fs9. With fsx i don't have any problems. Now, after last update my fsx crash with MD11 and this dll error.

I've been a long time customer of PMDG, having purchased every single product (some of them more than once - call that "stupid tax" on my part :( ) but I've been out of the hobby for over a year now for various reasons... Anyway, I noticed a week ago that PMDG had released their MD-11 which I had been anticipating for a long time... Apologies if this has been posted before, but my search didn't turn give any results.Has anybody noticed that the FS9 GE MD11 repaints on avsim are all missing textures? I don't see any textures for the gear, cockpit or engine blades. They're all gray. Is anybody else seeing this, or is it just me?Paul

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I will be flying ( at cruise, climbing and descending ) and the autopilot will randomly disconnect. It happens with headwinds, croswinds and tail winds. There doesn't seem to be a common factor that I can find. I adjusted the weather in FSUIPC and Active Sky. It gets annoying when can't leave the pc for a minute in fear that when I come back I am off course and descending. I searched the forum and really didn't find anything.Any suggestions?ThanksRichie Walsh

Can anyone please tell me where to find the following options/switches on the MD-11 (FS9 version) to get true an actual cold & dark checklist?1. Overboost stop. Should be on the throttle pedestal. Is this not modelled?2. Takeoff Warning test. Can't seem to find it.3. Exterior lights. Is that the switch for the mail lights on the lower part over the overhead panel where you can aslo switch them to "exterior full"? (next to the noselight)4. Evacuation switch. still new to md11 and going laboriously through the manuals. can get from point a to b with flight plans and sid star which work often enough... anyway would like to know through which screen on the mcdu one can get the aeroplane to follow or join a radial to or from a vor station. other than by programming it as a path in the flight plan that is. that would be acquiring the vor signal and have the aeroplane autopilot follow the radio signal, not the input from the gps or irs.any guidance will be appreciated.thanks in advance.michel labarre

Hello...yesterday I bought the MD 11 PMDG and I've read the manual and tutorial carefully.But I am not able to turn a traffic pattern with the nice aircraft, I cant use Autothrust.How can I use Autothrust without a programmed FMS or FMC???Thx for help, heisebaer (Germany)

MD-11 looks like a fantastic aircraft.I love the attention to detail and realism, and in my own time I plan to explore those details. However, my first question -- is there a jump in a fly option or will I be forced to go thru the startup procedures and everything else need to do a quick test flight?Thanks, Rob.

Hi!I have just downloaded and installed the v1.2 update for the FS9 MD-11. Since then when trying to start FS9 I get the following message:"Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File: Gauges/PMDG_MD11.gau"I get this message several times before FS9 starts. When loading the PMDG MD-11 none of the cockpit gauges work.I also have FSX and the PMDG MD-11 for FSX installed. I haven't updated that to latest version yet and I am worried to do so now.
