Hello all As is always the case, there does seem to be a few problems that peoplel experience. That is normally me. But my purchace is wonderful, works, flies, performs wonderfully on P3Dv3.4. I have just one small issue that might be to do with AS16 anyway. I have a test flight which starts at Denver. There happened to be low cloud there and there seemed to be a slight annomoly where the mist was a little like that old problem we used to have with the J41 whenever it rained, or (I seem to remember), when we used DX10.Shapes with definite lines flicker and change. I have the original Guide published by PMDG for the Precision Simulator -- -P47-400PS1 . This with revision AOM-0901.2-001. Will this possibly be usable with the new 747? (it is such a quality book!) Once the PMDG 747 came out I purchased that one and then continued with the M11,,737, 777. David Pedder

Good Day, this problem is not specifically linked to an AC so I hope its right to post it here I have a mjaor problem with my FSX. After some problems I decided to completly re-install my FSX including a complete fromatting of Windows. I was a little bit fast and installed FSX before all the Updates. FSX didnt worked as planed and I decided to to the complete process again, this time being more patient. But well, the problem is still here and I have no Idea what to do! I have tried an installation under C:FSx and again one with the standart folder. Firewall is off. i have also tried an older driver for my GTX1060. If I am starting the FSX it most ofte…

OK Guys, Going against recommendations (Loading the UPS paint...flying it around, playing with ground equip, then loading the Cathay metal paint over it without restarting and/or switching to a default plane...both a texture AND model change)...My VAS went from 2.7GB to 2.8 and is holding steady there! Hello, I had a question regarding the new animated PMDG ground service vehicles of the 747v3: Can they be repainted to match the used airline livery or to match the airport? If so, can these paints be included in the .ptp repaint packages? Thanks in advance! :smile:

Hi, I see from the previews that the Voice Recorder and ELT switches are not present on the overhead panel. Is it an option or aren't they prersent at all? Strange, because the voice recorder switches (and test) were present on the 777.

Wow.. just wow.. i dont have any addon that has such an awesome sound delivered with it. During descend, the engines spooled back to almost idle and suddenly, the whole room started to vibrate.. Thats better than sex ! Thanks so much to the audio guys.. and of course to everyone involved. This is an outstanding product and I never thought I would say that about a 744.

Hello, I have posted similar topic a while ago,but now that the quen is out i have several questions. How is 747400/8 performing with fps over 777? Any rough predictions when is 747-8 coming out?

Is it possible in any way to print the normal checklist? The QRH pdf is protected so I can't print from there. Many thanks.

I'm on my first flight with the 747 and I got the GPS LEFT message. The QRH doesn't have any actions listed. Is there something I should do or just ignore since the other GPS is functioning?

I know that these threads exist already, but I love the Queen so much already that I just felt I should tell you about that. When it released (About 1AM here) I bought it right away, but I only now got the chance to set up a flight and we're currently climbing to FL350. And so far.. She is simply amazing. The FPS are really good, probably better than with the 777, or at least for me they are. This is not an objective review after all. I would have gladly paid way more than the price you ask for and in all honesty you could surely ask for more than you do. Thank you for the hard work and for such an amazing addition to the hangar (or rather the flagship of said hangar?)!

Firstly, what a magnificent rendition and simulation, truly it sets the benchmark for flight simulation. Well done on an excellent product. No major issues, 2 small items that I cannot resolve by searching the associated documentation. i) No Land 3 message keeps repeating, I have I believe the required triple signals, any help here would be appreciated. ii) FMS message "Split IRS Controls" I cannot find a direct reference to this message, I realize that the navigation flight displays can be either linked to a single IRS or have separate IRS to each pilots displays. Maybe I'm missing the obvious, and just not discovering the solutions in the documentation. …

Hello, first of all i want to say that i'm impressed by the new 747 and everything was fine in my first flight from EDDF to EDDH. But at the moment i'm standing in EGLL ready for departure but the Flaps won't extent properly: Image . Is this a Bug or did i something wrong ? Shad0s

Hello I have all PMDG products (747v2, 777, NGX, MD11, J41) for FSX SP2. The Operations Center is no longer displaying any products when I drop down the 'Please select a product'. This has been working fine in the past, allowing me to add liveries for the NGX, 777 etc, but since installing the 747v2 today, nothing is seen in the drop down. Any advice please? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

The computer on which I am running FSX has an internet connection has a low download limit. Will I be able to download the 747 on another computer and install it on my FSX-PC? Best, Holger

Is there anything I can do to resolve a coexistance error, or do I just need to be patient and get the fix from support?

I noticed some minor rocking left and right as I taxied at the same airport I have visited in the NGX and T7 without issue. As I got airborne there is some real rocking left and right, I have no weather enabled and winds are calm. Anyone else getting this?
