    Often times, seemingly after takeoff in the NGX and 777, the spoilers get stuck right above the arm detent. Moving my spoiler axis works for about a quarter of a second, but the lever reverts back to this weird detent. No amount of unbinding, or unplugging fixes this issue. Worth noting I have 2 throttle quadrants, saitek radio panel, switch panel, ap panel, saitek cessna yoke, and saitek rudder pedals. Again, unplugging or ensuring everything is unbound does not help. I use Spad.next. Again, the issue reoccurs even when I ensure all binds to everything are disabled or when I try to use FSUIPC or Default Controls for the spoilers.     Let me preface this post by saying I am not having an issue with the 747 or 777 or any particular aircraft. In other words, this is not a bug report. :wink: I've seen a few videos posted by folks who were testing and more recently, now flying the 747 which are long hauls between nicely enhanced airports and they seemed to go very well. One in particular was from Orlando to Munich in the 747 and both airports were very well done (I think they were Taxi2Gate airports, but there are many fine developers out there like Fly Tampa and Flight Beam).     Hey guys, Just made my own custom banner for the PMDG 747-400 QOTSII. If PMDG doesn't want this on the internet, I'll happily delete it. If anyone is interested in how this was made, I took parts of the FMC and pasted them together. Most of the text however is typed from the scratchpad.     Hi All After installing and running queen of the skies 2 (great aircraft) I have been going through the manual and checklists figuring out correct startup procedures. One point I would like to make, is that it is great to see that everything is as real to life as possible. And all the check lists are presented with captain and first officer duties, However It dosent help us much as most people fly the plane by themselves. Anyone know if there's something for the 747 yet, in particular flights to Australia as these don't use PACOTS.   7. Fellow Flyers, Just tested my earlier released 747-400X EZDok/ChasePlane profile in the 747 v3 and...it fits almost perfectly. I will however finetune it in the next week. But in the meantime I think the EZDOK/ChasePlane viewers out here who haven't got a decent 747 profile, can benefit from this old profile. You probably just have to adjust the overhead view a bit, depending on your location on the world (3 nods forward/backward and a bit left and right with the arrow keys will probably do the trick) There are already cabin, cockpit jumpseat and walkaround views included, though - like I said - they need a bit of finetuning. I have bought and installed it from the pmdg website, i click on the: PMDG 747-400 QOTSII Base Package FSX (installer program in the winrar) It starts, then adminstrator allow thing pops up and i click yes. then it pops up with: Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Libary Runtime error Progam: ...s\Oscar\Desktop\PMDG 747-400 QOTSII Base Package FSX.exe Abnormal program termination Tried reinstall and extracting it to the desktop to no avail.     How often do flights simply return to the DEP airport when unable to land? What is the criteria? I see more domestic short flights simply returning, as opposed to diverting to an alternate. I watched a Horizon Dash-8 fly from SEA to RDM, then hold for like 30 minutes and return to SEA. RDM was BCAT1. Do they simply plan on a return if the fuel will allow before departure? In other words, a short to medium haul with planned fuel (+cont, FAS reserves, extra, ect..) only plans a shorter distance diversion, then obviously the plane couldn't go back. I understand for long hauls, but for shorter distances, do they typically just plan for a return as an alternate?

    Hi All I am running FSX And have had Queen of the skies1 installed for a long time, and recently added Queen of the skies 2. And all through my years with FSX I have had the same issue, and no one can help. The issue is I cant turn engine sound off. All the cockpit and engine sounds work fine in Queen of the skies 2. However it dose'nt matter wether you start in a cold or dark state, or shut engines down manually The engines are constantly on. And its driving me nuts.     First of all I would just like to say thank you for such a wonderful simulation of the 'queen'. However, *cringe*, please could you take a look at the leading edge flaps as they retract. In the sim they all begin retracting at the same time, whereas on the real thing it seems the outboard leading edge flaps retract first followed by the others a few seconds later. This seems to be the case with the GE's and RR's. I haven't found a video of the PW's. Could this be verified and added in an update? Thanks again for your hard work PMDG, I can't think of any other release of a complex aircraft with so few issues, congratulations!

    I have a small query that a real world insider might be able to answer. You are setting up the FMC for a long haul flight - with the route entered into the FMC, do the crew usually just enter a plan to overhead the field initially? I ask this because at the start of a 14 hr flight you aren't going to know what runway or indeed STAR you will be allocated, so it would seem a bit strange to attempt these entries so far out from the destination. So, any idea what real crews do? Rgds

    ok so i flew the tutorial flight and started a new circuit of the ksfo area, touch and goes, rtos and the like and i found a few things. on approach the autopilot never acquired the glide slope (i'm more than willing to admit i might have missed something) the gs bug stayed right on the money until 1800ft then the queen leveled out and i had to hand fly the rest of final and touchdown. (wow its smooth, probably best hands on landing I've made in the sims). the app mode was selected and the localizer captured as intended, second after doing a rejected takeoff, (i purposely left the trim set out of range) i slewed back to start of runway to go again and the push ba…

    Hello everyone, I am using a devise called "X-Keys" as a programable button board. Simply assign a "ctrl shift l" or "ctrl n" to a button and when you press this button that's what the pc reads. Works perfectly well with the previous Queen of the skies and all other aircraft. However, with the new queen there is a problem where the queen doesn't read any ctrl or shift functions from the board. (Example "ctrl shift F is simply read as F). The aircraft does read them correctly from the keyboard. I have checked this with previous queen and it works just fine, reading the assigned keys the way I programmed them from X-keys.
