running out of room on current ssd will the 2nd one be independent of the first one or can it be linked to it : can I still download things from FSX when I run out of room on ssd #1 onto ssd #2 or is the path going to be different an therefore unusable thanks kevin okeefe

I noticed this on both, the 747 and the 777 already, maybe one of you can help me. I am on a direct routing to a VOR via the FMCs LNAV function. The VOR is also tuned in both NAV radios. Here is the corresponding ND indication I see: Obviously the VOR radial indicated does not match up with the flightplan indication on the ND. One possible reason could be magnetic variation, which is 5W at KTRI airpot (closest to my position) and 3W at VXV VOR. However the difference between the two would be just 2° while the difference on my ND indication is 5°. Furthermore the closer I get to get VOR, the smaller the difference should become until they finally match up …

I'd like to see a PMDG tool that could rate pilot's performance and notify whether any aircraft component was damaged or stressed during the flight or whether passengers suffered any distress because of pilot's actions... Just an addon idea for PMDG...

Just a disclaimer; This is almost definitely my fault and I am not blaming PMDG for this. Please don't flame me! Ok, Here's my problem. I am trying to run the PMDG 777 and 737 with FSX Steam edition (before you ask, I have legitimately bought the aircraft from PMDG's website and have legally acquired FSX from steam.) but I get weird texture glitches and an eventual crash of fsx. It starts off when I run FSX (usually as admin but that doesn't matter) and load a PMDG Aircraft. For example, once the 17 second wait period is over, I start off by putting flaps to 5, and taking a look outside and the runway has these weird texture glitches where parts of it are flashing…

Has anyone successsfully disabled the FSX camera movement in the VC? For example, when making turns, the camera position move to the side. I bought EZDOK but the problem still exist.

I am with FSX and want to change for P3D. Any conflict to have both on the same computer. I want FSX just the time I will be ok with P3D. I know I will need to buy some new planes like the 737 from PMDG. Pierre Dupuis

Hi, I noticed during my first flight that the Emergency Lights switch is not working, since I couldn't set it to ARM closing its guard. I suppose I could be missing something and it's not a bug. Cheers, Ed

Quite disappointed to find there was no in-house AF1 livery included by the PMDG team this time around. Yes, I'm not an idiot, yes I'm aware it's a -200 airframe, but last time you included one. How long before the repainters get around to it?? Surely it's a fan-favourite, no??

Hi guys, I have a strange problem with my P3D as its not starting correctly and I cannot find any reason or solution for this. Yesterday, I installed a new scenery, changed the path in the installation to my p3d and since this installation, my P3D is bringing the start screen and after 3-4 seconds the screen just disappear. In my task manager I still see the p3d.exe running but I don´t see the screen. Do you know what this could be or a solution? If not - how can I deactivate my serials for my PMDG products without having the P3D running/available to do it in the FMC? Thanks for help Timm

Hello, I'm new to the PMDG family of users just learning the 737NGX. I have been reading the manuals and tutorials and watching a lot of you tube videos. I noticed that several of the videos, especially of the cockpit view are very fluid in movement, moving and zooming in and out on the various guages and instruments. Mine doesn't look very realistic using the normal keyboard keys or the hat switch. Is there camera view software available that can do this without impacting my fps? Thanks, Jim

I'd like to hear your suggesrions HT and OC'ing. I have an i7 4790k on an aftermarket air cooler and GTX1060, both are on stock settings and I am using P3D without NI. I'd like to start stretching their legs so to speak, and I'm wondering what type of gains I could expect by overclocking them and possibly disabling HT. I have a home built PC dedicated to flight simming and I use it for nothing else. I feel that I get "acceptable" performance right now, and I'm wondering if I would see any noticeable performance increases. This related to the 747v3 for P3D. I have my flaps mapped through FSUPIC (paid version) to a 3 way switch on my HOTAS joystick. The positions are mapped to Flap Incr and Flap Decr. Whenever I either extend a notch or retract a notch the autopilot disengages. This happens throughout the flap range. I also have the 777 for FSX and the NGX for FSX and I don't have this issue on them. In fact, this is the only aircraft that I have that has this issue. Any idea why this would happen only on the 747v3 for P3D? I would rather not have to submit a ticket. Thanks in advance. John Croft

Hi, whenever I click on "livery downloader" I get a following message "TLS 1.2 is disabled in your windows installation". I did manage to fix this by restarting the pc, but I got the message again. So every time I get the message I have to do the same procedure to solve this. Any ideas of how to permanently solve it instead of having to restart the pc again and again. Hello, When the 747-8 comes out will it include fcom and qrh like the -400 does. I know there are some differences between the -8 and -400. Also, I didn't know if boeing even has a generic -8 fcom so that is why i am asking. Do you include performance data for freighter and passenger variants if possible. BTW, I purchased the -400 and it is one of my favorite planes ever in FSX. I absolutely love the way it flies. I have had FS since FS95 and PMDG has always been raising the bar on their aircraft. Hello again, My AP disconnect isn't working. I use the Saitek X52 and have a mapped button with FSUIPC for AP disconnect. In every other a/c, including other PMDG, I press once to disconnect and press again to silence the warnings. Can someone advise the correct settings to have this work in the QOTS II? I press it twice, as I do in the 737 and 777 and it just disconnects and reconnects. I know there's options in the FMC but I don't know which one. Any help appreciated!

Hi, I was wanting to install my PMDG MD-11, but I have just installed the 747v3 on release day, and wanted to check whether installing the legacy MD-11 after the 747v3 would screw anything up? (I remember installing the old 747, after the 777 and I think I lost some menus, etc). Thanks

Hello Just installed the UPS livery through the operations center, but upon loading the gear is still retracted within the body. When I switch to other liveries, they have gear. I have tried reinstalling the UPS with the same issue... Many thanks for you help and have a great weekend! Mark Harris

Let me start this off by saying that this is going to almost definitely going to be my fault and that I did something wrong, PMDG probably aren't at fault for this... Hi, i've got a problem with the operations center after the last update, seems to be a problem with the program resolution, anyway, i cannot add any liveries because the add liviery button is in the right side of the operation center and i cannot see that side.
