Hello everyone, Yes, I know it's still in beta, but I noticed the reverse thrust in beta videos only goes up to 58% N1. I am getting very hyped over the 747, so I have been watching many 747 videos lately, and came across something by accident. I noticed that the reverse thrust on the real 747 goes up to 95% N1, and not 58%. That is of course a very significant difference. I mentioned this in a thread, and it wasn't believed this is not a real thing. I need documented evidence, which of course, I cannot obtain in any way. But then I realised PMDG use video recordings and photos to help them develop the aircraft, so I don't see why videos would not be proper…

Hi I am new to the flight sim I have been using airbus from aerosoft for all the flights I am doing I have seen the PMDG I never used or own any here are couple of questions 1- is it easy to use I am not high tech to do a lot of configuration 2- where is the best web site to buy releable from 3- if the above are yes which plan I should start with ie: less complicated 4 - comparable with ATC x pro Thanks for all your help

I have just purchased the 777-200LR even though I knew the learning curve would be more than I would be willing to commit to, it just looked a beautiful plane! I have played FS since it first came out in all it's variations, so maybe age has something to do with my reluctance to delve deeply into the manual. Hello all. I have been using a joystick with twisting function for my FSX. I just got my rudder pedal and trying to separate the tiller and rudder. So far I have managed to use the tiller by the joystick twisting without affecting the rudder but when I use the rudder pedal, the tiller turns and steer the aircraft on the ground. So is there a way to assign rudder pedal to rudder function only? I'm testing on PMDG 777 but I think the same will be for your 737 and MD11? (Yes, I have searched google for couple hours) Hoang Le.

New computer and just downloaded PMDG 747 again. When I go to the add- ons menu PMDG<Options< I select things like CRT to LCD, lbs to kgs, etc and nothing changes when I close the menu (ie still in CRT, fuel still in lbs). Has anyone experienced this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Windows7/FSX/PMDG747

hello everyone, I was wondering will we be able to use the 747v2 profile in topcat for the v3 performance ? if not, i would love to have some sort of performance calculator from pmdg which may be compatible with other softwares like pfpx. As far as i know we still don't have a profile for 773 in topcat(i heard they stopped development and the ones left on the market arent auite accurate) and it is very easy to overpower on takeoffs with those ge90s. And since we have different(and accurate) engine options on v3, i thought it would be nice to be able to see the differences on the flightplans otherwise what is the point of the accuracy ? what do you think ? thank y…

I have been using the NGX in FSX SE for some time. I have made about three or four flights and flown the Tut 1 twice - no problems up to now. Recently when I started the sim and selected the Tut 2 flight I was asked for my activation key again. When I entered it I received the following message "flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage - (50044,71013,1). When I clicked OK on this message I received a message "You do not have a valid licence for this software" Do I need to uninstall and reinstall again? Any suggestions please? Rob Stevenson

A photo taken of a real world 747-400 Integrated Standby Flight Display... ... and I survived Questions for the experts (sorry, no prizes given)... 1) What are those big red arrows? 2) Why is the (brown) horizon still visible when the pitch scale shows 90 and 70 degrees? 3) Not shown.. .but what happens when you push the "APP" and "IN/HP" buttons on top of the ISFD simultaneously for two seconds? 4) What type of gyro is fitted? 5) What option is there regarding ILS information? 6) How did I survive? If anyone has the GSX add-on with PMDG aircarft (777 - 737) do you guys actually see fuel hoses connectingg to the airplane? If you do, what steps do you use to get it. Can't figure out the manual so someone might help me hopefully. Merry Xmas to you all!

Hello, The other day was quite unfortunate as I was looking forward to getting some pmdg NGX action. To my surprise once I fired up my PC, I heard the dreaded "click, click, click" coming from my HDD. My HDD has only several games on it, and mainly for running FSX and all it's addons that make the FSX world more enjoyable. Now in the bios it doesn't recognise the HDD anymore and since I cannot access any of the data from my dead HDD would there be an issue when I reinstall FSX along with my PMDG products being the NGX and 777s? I remember going through the introduction manual where it mentions that to deactivate a pmdg addon it is normally done through the FMC, but sin…

NEED HELP Running 2- monitors .... the 2en is used to drag instruments ( fmc/ act/ gps ) so that I can see them on seperate screen and not clutter main Whats happening is that I can drag them ( unlock ) to 2en screen but I just get the instrument with no data in them ? Semi joking, of course, but to turn your corporate transport into a sim would be amazing, exactly as it is. There's chatter on the A2A forums about the Connie not taking the 750, and all that, and your DC-3 was pointed out as a perfect "resto-mod" bird, if you will. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would fly it!

Can anyone tell me how to order/obtain extended download service for the 737 series and 777 aircraft? I'm having troubles with mine, especially the 737 nav radio digits not displaying past the .8 (i.e., no 113.80, only 113.8 is shown). I'd appreciate the help. I'd also like to install my aircraft into FSX-Steam, so, I'm guessing I'd need the extended download service for all aircraft I want to install, or is it just a one time fee? Hi! I´ve read some informations about the Short field package, which is available for the 737-800. I know that we´re able to use this package for the PMDG NGX but is this option fully functional? What are your experiences with this SFP? Thanks for your help.

B744V3 Beta KLAX departure for LGAV. An almost 13 hour flight. No landing video though as had power issues at my place somewhere over Greenland :(.
