I was wondering when new Delta or American Airlines Boeing 777 leaves Everett, WA, it is flown to one of their hubs and the airline adds the final touches on it? If so, what are the things an airline needs to do to get it passenger ready? Or will the airline arrange it to be delivered to a specific airport? I was doing 777 flights from Boeing KBFI to Seattle KSEA to practice landings and I was wondering if Boeing ever delivered a heavy plane from BFI to SEA

I tried to log into my PMDG account, but I constantly get the message The login information you provided was not found in our database. Please try again or use the password reminder tool to retrieve a lost password. I am sure that my password is correct as I have save it in KeePass. When I request a password reminder, the email address is valid and the password returned is exactly the same I had saved. Anybody else with this problem? Regards Eberhard

Captains, This is a big weekend for the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II, as we begin the process of moving her from Tech Testing to beta testing at long last! We have been working with our tech team since we assembled them back in late January, and they have been an incredibly valuable resource in making this product better, more accurate, and of course- more complete. I would like to get the opinions of anyone in the know, on the best way to install the new PMDG B747v3. Would it be best to totally uninstall the original 747v1 and all its updates, or just install the new version, and have both installed together. I don't want the two to interfere with each other, if that is a possibility. I probably won't be going back to the original B747v1 once I have the new version installed. What do you think? Well, it's very seldom that I post here on Avsim, but I felt this had to be said. I really want to express my thanks and appreciation to PMDG for doing cargo versions of their various aircraft. Like some others I've seen here, I fly primarily cargo machines and it is really great to have these aircraft done up as "out of the box" cargo and not something you have to use (a lot of!) imagination for. The 777 is an outstanding airplane, and once the 747 is released, that will be taking it's place as a key component in my "heavy lift" division of my ops. So thanks PMDG. It's really appreciated. I'm looking to get in the 747-400 spirit by buying a flight deck video. There are a few around, but which do people recommend? I have the Virgin LHR-SFO one which is good, but old. I want one that covers takeoff/landing well - some of the ones I have only show inside the flight deck for these parts which I find most annoying! Thanks.

So with talks of an NGV3 I've been scratching my head and doing some thinking. I love The NG, of course, I think it's the plane I spend the most time in. But, I would really like to see the MAX as well so I can fly across The Atlantic in one go without hoping for favorable winds. I am all for the promised performance improvements as well. Anyone else want to talk 737 in this time of the 747?

Hi Guys, I know the 747-400 has a delay in setting T/O power when the TOGA button is pressed. good evening folks,,My pmdg aircraft 777,737 by pmdg in P3d dont get affected by the wind even aftering running the installer as admin into P3D both aircraft dont get affected by the wind...Could anyone help me resolve this? maybe their is a file somewhere that missing i dont know but Thanks in advance

I was just wondering how well the 747 reacts to extreme temperatures? I know that PMDG aircraft respond accordingly to temperature variations in terms of performance, but how will temperature affect some of the finer details? For example, sometimes in real aircraft, cold components such as gyros, gauges, actuators, etc., that have been cold-soaked for extended periods of time, may function slower than normal until reaching operating temperatures. Because of this, instrument flags may take longer than normal to retract. Are details such as this modeled in the 747v3? Merry Christmas, Robert Schumacher

Hi, I recently downloaded the latest installer from my account and the installer says "v2 or v3". After hitting the installer, a message shows up with "unable to locate Prepar3D.exe. Unable to Install." and the installation terminates. I deinstalled all PMDG aircraft, 3rd party addons and the entire P3D v2.5 completely. FYI, other installer like FlightBeam, Active Sky Next can find the Prepar3D.exe, so i guess there is no problem with P3D. I hope you can help me with this. It's the first time I have a problem with PMDG and Prepar3D. Greetings

hi all, While this is not a strictly PMDG related question ultimately all i fly is to the PMDG 737 and soon the 777. I just started using P3d 3.5 v3 and so far all is good (REX4 and Active Sky nex are the only adds on i have) and and I was hoping to get some suggestions for the software settings. I know that depends on the system (Intel 3.6Ghz, 16Gb Ram and Nvidia 760Ti here) and I need to try what works best for me but, still, i was hoping for some do's and don'ts you may recommend? would you let the system chose the best settings or would you set the sliders as per FSX to begin with? basically any hint is greatly appreciated (keeping in mind that PMDG airplanes is wh…

I'm about to become a new PMDG customer, but since i have XPlane my only option by now is DC-6. This leads to the conclusion that i have not experiences with their policies and currently my only concerns is whether the DC-6 will see a full X-Plane 11 release version in the future, with current one just being upgraded to compatible level, or this one is already the candidate to become the full release XP11 version through updates. Why i'm asking it? Because i just want to know what i'm doing in order to avoid surprise.
