Although I delete unwanted MD-11 Panel States from the Flight Simulator X folder they remain in the Ready to Load Panel States in the drop down MPDG menu.How do I delete them from this collection please?Cliff

When I load the MD11 it loads with 4 dummy panels and then a black screen . This kind of goes back to the issue I was having witht the load manager. If I load the LM first, then load the aircraft, then I get the dummy screens and then black screen. Then I will load the aircraft and everything is fine, but I then have to go back to the load manager and go through that again. That might take some more testing to see if my weight load held, but I know for sure the fuel goes back to 15.5. Also, the panel state will not hold and the FSX version will not hold the panel state either, even with the update for that issue. I might be missing a step here. Last night I saved m…

Guys, what is the range of the PMDG MD11F? Wikipedia says the real MD11F has the range of 3600 nm. For me it seems too short for the long hauler...

Hi,I'm currently about 300 odd nm from my destination (YBBN) and the DTG on the progress page is showing 1006 and increasing. I have stepped through the plan and there are no errors, checked the distance with FSNAV and it is around 300 nm. Any ideas?EDIT: the ETA is increasing as wellEDIT AGAIN: The flight plan wasn't incrementing, so to speak. The aircraft was following it perfectly but the first waypoint was still registering as current. Deleting all previous waypoints fixed the problem - how bizarre.

Hello,I have the problem that I cannot open the Load Manager of the MD11 in FSX since I switched from XP 32 to Vista 64.There comes a long error message if I try to open. If necessary I can send the error message later, because I am not at home at the moment. Also I there is no PMDG Menu visible under the FSX Add-on Menu although I confirmed the acceptance of the DLL at the FSX Start.Thanks for the help :( Michael from Germany

Is there a TCAS with TA/RA Mode in the PMDG Beech 1900D or do I have to install some add-on (e.g. RXP JetLine 2) to get the traffic info and advisory on the ND or the V/S display? I can see, that there is a TCAS module in the radio stack, but I can only enter my squawk there, there aren't any other switches.2. Is there a possibility to choose between ADF and VOR indication on the RMI or is the thin pointer fixed to ADF and the thick one to the VOR2 (NAV2) indication?3. Hi, I just want to say, I got FSX for xmas last year (2008) to which I installed the PMDG 747 (I had it in cold storage for about 12 months!)my pc spec's were as follows; HP notebook vista ultimate intel core 2 T7200 2 GHz 1gig ram, 256meg geforce Go 7600, 64 bit. When I ran fsx for first time with pmdg it was a dog, basically un-flyable unless you set everything to the minimal settings. I then upgrade my ram to 2gig. boy what a difference, I set everything up to the highest setting on fsx and the queen flew fine. I set the target frame rates as high as 80 she flew just fine. CaptainsAfter flying the FSX version for 2+ months, I took the FS9 version for the first spin last night.Great job PMDG, thanks very much for another world class add-on.2 questions that I would have after the first test ride:I find the MD11 flight dynamics in FS9 quiet different compared to FSX.I know the MD11 is overpowered and a very good climber, but with a ZFW of 178.8 tons and 20 tons of fuel, FLEX 50 and flaps 22, the bird accelerated to VR in 17 seconds and climb to FL340 took 9 minutes only with FMS managed profile.The bird feels much less as flying a heavy in FS9 than in FSX.Is it just me or are other dual FSX/FS9 MD11 users experiencing the same ?Second question…

I'm on my first flight, the aircaft seems very twitchy compared to the 744 I have LSAS set to Heavy in the options should it be the other way round?I'm in crz so don't want to test it :)Thanks

I'm having some problems with the WEIGHT INIT pages.According to the FMS manual, trial entries into the BLOCK fuel field can be made for fuel planning purposes. The problem is that for some reason, the other fields are not re-calculated. TRIP, RTE, and EXTRA all turn into dashed lines and even after a 10minute wait nothing changes. The only way I can "force" a re-calculation is by cycling through the INIT pages 1/3 then 2/3 etc. By the time I get back to page one, the values are there??? And before you ask, yes I do have a cost index entered. I've also noticed that during re-fuelling this page does not refresh, i.e. the UFOB stays the same???Regards,Martin Neep

I bought the fantastic PMDG MD-11 yesterday. Today, I wanted to do the tutorial flight from EGLL to LSZH. Everything worked fine so far. But after engine-start, I can't trim the MD-11. How can I do that ?Regards

Hey guys, I installed FS9.1 so I could run the MD11.Ever Since I installed the 9.1, my fs now has jaggies in the graphics. It didn't have this before. I remember this was an issue back when it was released before and there were a few ways to fix it. I can't find any of those posts ! Firstly I have to say What an amazing aircraft! just downladed and sitting on the Ramp at KBOS in the UPS livery the sound fx are amazing through my huge subwoofer :)A quick question about the parking brake, FSpassengers does not seem to detect the fact that parking brake is on so I cant start a flight, has anyone else noticed this?I only use this software for the added sound fx and failures as I fly cargo 99% but it would be shame to not use it anymore.Thanks, it feels like my Birthday and Christmas in one!!EDIT: I should have made sure AUX PUMP 1 was on.... Having briefly skimmed the manuals to get me going for a test run, I noticed that the speed for approach and flaps schedule was a little different procedure than other planes.It appears as though the slowing is done when you extend flaps as it does on the MD-80, which won't slow below a certain speed without flaps setting to the next detent. Is the MD-11 kinda like this? You need to extend flaps and doing so will slow the plane down a little each time? What determines where the speed holds each time? The Boeings seem to let you slow to whatever speed, regardless of flap setting, but a plane like the MD-80 won't slow at all without certain flap extensions? Is the MD-1…
