Hi, I have been a PMDG customer for several years now and I have purchased the 747-400X, the NGX and the MD-11, and will only be purchasing the upcoming Dash 8, 747 version 2 and 777 if this problem is resolved. I was taking part in Vatsim's cross the pond event a few days ago. Everything had been going well until 6 hours into the flight, I was made to force close FSX after a major freeze; even the audio froze and continued to sound. I have had this identical issue with the NGX but somehow I fixed it, however, I can't remember how. We got the J4100, and now we`re getting a DC6 and a Dash 8 (As far as I know).Alot of you folks love the 747 and 777, the big jets. I do to, but not as much as I looooove a piston or turbine powered spinner on a wing:-) Oh yeah!What would anyone of you hope for in future production of turboprops?Id love too see the Shorts 330/360 (have you seen the cockpit in those machines, just beautiful), or perhaps the F-50 orSaab 340/2000?But seriously, just look at that beautiful shorts cockpit!!Yikes thats pretty! As topic says, had a hard-drive go Tango Uniform and took the chance to upgrade to a 120 gig SSD. I plan on putting only Windows 7, DCS A-10C, and FSX w/ PMDG on the new drive. An old 200 gig HD will be the back up.The problem is the HD crash took my entire FSX setup, and the original activation email with it. I need advice on how to get a new copy of the PMDG 737-800 files that I bought.Thank you in advance!Clay

Hi all, I have the GTX 560 Ti graphics card. What driver would you suggest for it (290.xx or higher)? I have now the 285.63 which works good for me but I want to use the Frame Rate Limiter which is included in these drivers? Thanks, Christos

I very much appreciate PMDG's consideration to port one of their aircraft addons to X-Plane. My question regarding this: Whatever plane PMDG is going to port to XP, are you going to consider adding a weather radar to it? (if the real plane has one, of course) My understanding of PMDG's position regarding weather radars so far was that they won't do them because they cannot be done properly in FSX. But if I remember correctly, Austin Meyer said that X-Plane's weather engine allows to make a weather radar for it. Regards, Tom

Hi everyoneI expect this has been commented on many times before but I thought it would be fun for people to post interesting or funny waypoint names. For example over the middle of England there are 3 waypoints very close together called WESUL, STOAT and FERIT. On the way over the North Sea towards Holland there is a point called TULIP.It would be interesting to find out others and I guess there may be some that only have a meaning to people in that region.

Hey guys,I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this but I have tried an email to [email protected] if that even exists. I am trying to dig up my old purchase info for the FS9 744. I have tried creating/logging into accounts at www.precisionmanuals.com with no luck. I'm pretty sure that I purchased it way before the new website system was created. Seeing that the Boeing 757 and 767 are two very popular airliners, both with numbers over 1,000, would you like PMDG to develop them? The Boeing 757 and 767 were designed in conjunction, and have so many things in common, including type rating.

As Captain RSR said in Munich, having 2D panels on newer products is not top priority:But im just curious, do they take extra resources even when your only using the VC?Would an option to turn them off/not install them be of any sense or just meaningless?Just curious..

So I will usually do a long haul flight about once a week and every time I do when I get to my destination my terrain such as the runway marking lines, air terminals, and some other things are just gone, I have all of my settings on high and you can see my specs in my signature so could someone help me out with this? I'm thinking a setting can probably be tweaked in the cfg where I have also modified some things, help is appreciated -Thanks, JakeAlso this happens in my PMDG 747-400 but never in a five hour or so flight with the NG

i have messed up my fsx cfg and the back up with tweaks is it possible for anybody to attach a original fsx cfg please so i can replace the broken one.

Hi there,I was wondering if anyone has been lucky enough to give Nvidias latest a go and if so what are your thoughts as far as performance goes (in comparison to say the 580?)I am moments (weeks) from building the big rig and am wondering if I should go for the 680 over the 580...although its a fair bit more expensive, also whats the feelings on the Video memory (2 MB GDDR5) would that lead to instability with FSX as a platform?Any thoughts?Cheers,Anthony

I've reported this problem before and have now tried a half dozen airports but this continuing problem still occurs with the MD 11. On final, I'm always just to the right of the runway. I've reloaded the updated ILS data, double checked the data on the FSC flight plans, made sure the current navigraph is active, basically followed the tutorial guidelines, but the problem still exists. This does not happen on any other PMDG aircraft (or anyone else's either).I've had some suggestions on a prior question but I'm still looking for a solution to this problem. Not fun landing in the dirt next to a runway.Jack Fentress

With future products this will mean separate PMDG products for each world simulator.In the forthcoming PSX 747-400 simulator from Aerowinx, the plane simulator will be a program entirely separate from the world simulator. Hi all,I want to make a proper back up of my fsx (too much effort and time invested in there...)The question is which files / folders to include except of course the fsx main folder and fsx.cfg file?How should a re-installing of the complete fsx setup be made without having to re-install all add ons one by one again?Thanks,Christos
