This crap scared me a bit... lol!We had over 6 hours before our flight was to leave, and we were about to take pictures in front of the famous "Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" sign. As you may or may not know, McCarren airport is right next to the sign, and there is an FBO there also. As we approached the little parking area by the sign, I looked at the majestic airport. I saw multiple Southwest 737s depart, which, was interesting. But suddenly, I saw a white, 737-600ish-looking aircraft with a red stripe running across its sides depart the same runway as those Southwest 737s. Since I bought UTX USA and GEX NA, I've been mostly flying in the United States. I'm loving both products. I like to fly near my area here as I am accustomed to it. I also enjoy flying into big airports at night on VATSIM and getting lost... I once was at Houston here and I got lost, charts didn't help, etc. etc. It took me approximately 20 minutes to taxi to the active. Haha! :Nerd:So where do you mostly fly?

I'm just curious as to what some of your favorite aircraft are & what are your favorite airports? My favorite aircraft would have to be the 767. My favorite airports are KORD, KATL, KCLE, and KBOS. Would love to hear the opinions of some of the guys at PMDG.

I was trying to load a FSC Flight Plan from KSAN (San Diego) to KSFO (San Francisco. Problem is, the MD 11 FMC says that KSAN is not in the data base. I tried the same plan with the 737NGX and the 747-8. No problem. Flight Plan loaded perfectly. I also tried a house livery and a McPhat livery thinking maybe something was awry there but the same thing happened. Not in data base. I reloaded the current Navigraph Airac (1203) with the same results. I know that airport is there but cannot figure out why the MD11 won't recognize it as being there.A bit later I tried to load a KLAX plan and the same thing happened. It said that KLAX is not in the data base.I'm pretty sur…

Hi everyone. This topic is primarily for the attention of Robert or someone else at PMDG who can speak with authority on possible future plans for the company. I have a simple question. Does PMDG (or have you considered) intend to investigate producing a military aircraft that is no longer in use and/or has been de-classified? One example that comes to mind is the F-111, which was recently retired from service with the RAAF. That would be a fantastic aircraft to kock-off PMDG's involvement in the military aircraft addon market, or even as a special once-off project.

Hi.I read a thread a while ago where someone had problems with hard stutters (freeze for half a second - 1 second or so) on approach. I have had very good performance from the NGX after some initial tweaks but there is one airport that is still causing problems: Trondheim Vaernes X.I realize that this is the PMDG forum and not Aerosoft but I've already posted a thread on the Aerosoft forums a long time ago received no successful help, plus there are a lot of very competent individuals roaming around these forums so I usually like to go here for help :)Anyway, I'd just like to rule out whether this problem is on my side only or if others have similar issues on ENVA.To test…

I generated an FSC flight plan from Seattle (KSEA) to SanFrancisco (KSFO). Using the 737 NGX the auto land function worked perfectly. A few days later, I made the same flight with the MD 11 but the ILS landing function had me a couple of hundred yards to the right of the runway (28R) rather than a straight in approach similar to the 737NGX. I tried it twice but the result was the same. I had adjusted the flight plan to indicate an aircraft change.I don't know why this happened but is there some difference in these aircraft that I hadn't taken into consideration for this to occur?I'd appreciate any opinons on this.Jack Fentress

I downloaded and installed 737 NGX. When I select the aircraft in FSX, an activation window appears and asks for the activation code. Where is that located. Not in the email confirmation of order.

Hey guys,I have been working for ages on this but how do I disable any PMDG planes to show up as traffic in fsinn? Ive tried the [FSINN]IGNORE=1But that still does not work. Am I doing it right? Please help because its eating up my FPS :oI also did in the Advanced setting the manual assigning thing but how would you get the auto thing to work

i think the pmdg liverie tab should have it setup where you just hover over the airline re-paint you want to see and it should pop up with a picture showing what it looks like, alot of people want to know what variation the airline is...old or new. please refer this to the website constructor. if you want an example of what im talking about go here: www.qwsim.com/index.php/downloads?c=liveries&m=757

This will be up in the AVSIM library in a day or two, if you're interested here is a sidstar file for KLAX Los Angeles Intl including both visual approaches coded for the FMS. Also did my normal customizing to add for example connections between runways and departures or arrivals but as always the originals as-publised are there for those who are flying vectors from someone.

When using FSX PMDG products (all I use) with SB4 the aircraft sounds mute when someone talks on SB. Is there a way to stop this? I am posting on onther forums as well but hope to fix it soon. ThanksJustin Whetstone

I went and watched and photographed the practice for the Thunder Over Utah Air Show earlier today in St. George, Utah. Insanely cool scenery/terrain for something like this - I'm sure all the cliffs and mountains presented a planning challenge. Hi I bought the rxtensed download last Nov for the ngx. My orgonal email was [email protected]. I just submitted a ticket for my links to b sent to a different addy. I went into support signed in went to prefrences changed my email to new addy. I get email to validate i cluck link says cant validate or locate email or somethi.g of ght nature. When I sign into the suppirt section o no longer see a link to view submiited tickets anymore. So I cannot see the ticket I submittef earlier today. Pmdg please help. My new email is [email protected]
