For those interested in this one.Every time I installed the patches for Fly!2 I would get the kaleidoscope effect after build 230 and everything was tried (delete everything, reinstall from scrath etc.) and in proper order. I could'nt get rid of it.Finally got rid of it by deleting the Tridx8.dll installed with build 230 and putting the Tridx8.dll from build 210 back in place. Got rid of the kaleidoscope and everything appear to be running smoothly.All the other files remains as per build 230.Denis

Hi! I get the plane in the air with all the systems ready but at night, the Landing gear is shown in the aircraft model even if I have it retracted. The nosegear is tilted to the left. Is there a fix for this? Oh by the way, I am flying the delta repaint not the original 757 from PMDG. Is that an issue the team is resolving? Or is there a solution to the problem.Please let me know,Teo

There seems to be somewhat of a void in the manual as far as the flip cards are concerned, for example does anyone know what the upper lefthand box represents? Clean maneuvering speed...what's that?Also...given an aircraft weight of 209,000 the flap speeds on landing show red numbers which would seem to indicate some sort of problem,yet this is no where near the max allowable weight... I redid the Hybrid TWA_AA livery for the 757 but Don't like the effect. Looks a bit too fake. I'll adjust the hues or abandon this TruMetal and return to the previous rendition.Pete

I've finished 3 P&W engined repaints for the 757 just awaiting final instructions from you good folks on what repaint licensing to include and where to send the files other than to AVSIM. No night textures included yet. I'll refrain from uploading until I get the go ahead from Robert or his designee.Pete

I did two CATIII approaches this week. Both times (once in Philly, & one in LAX), the A/P claimed to have Flare & rollout armed & the Glideslope was captured - only the glideslope never moved from the top of the display. It stayed un-colored in & at the top of the display, as if I were well above it. So being that I was getting conficting info from my PFD, (said CATII was ready, yet G/S was not), I decided to see what would happen - both landings were perfect. All the while, my cockpit warning kept repeating "glideslope" as if I did not capture it. Strange - it still nailed the Cat III approach. Anyone else have this happen? It seemed to attempt to …

Dear Anthony,while one week of testing my SIDs I observed something strange. If the "NOT BEFORE" or "UNTIL" command is followed by a "HDG xxx INTERCEPT xxx" command, the sim hangs and I need to reboot my machine.I've tried it in different locations (LGAT and EDDM) but the result was the same. Hi,I noticed that my 757s are totally black at night. There's not a single bit of the livery left. The 757 (as well as the Delta repaint) is the only aircraft in my collection that does this. Even with the 777 there are some bits of the livery still recognisable at night. Is this normal? I should make a screenshot to demonstrate. Btw. - I use the DirectX8 T&L drivers on a GeForce3ti200 with the latest NVidia drivers. Thomas

I noticed that when flying manually (no plan in the FMC) and tuning vors (NAV2 on the first officer panel) that the DME does not display on the guage. The needle works perfectly. The only time I have seen DME on this guage is when flying an FMC flight plan, and the DME show is that of the next waypoint. Am I doing something wrong? By the way I really love the new 757! I checked the basic stuff, including that the dll is loaded with FLY2. But as soon as I click on the connect button, the program crashes with a winrun and to the desktop. Any ideas? thanks.tony

Hello,before I watch the Grand Prix, I would like to publish the results of thefirst flight I made with the new 757 which is a great product!I found these possible bugs:============================- Take Off: Weight was 223.0, Flaps 15, Temp. 12. VR was set to 147 kts, but I could not get the nose up at this speed- !!! SPD-mode: at low speeds it works great, but at higher speeds...uh oh! When I switched (during climb) from VNAV to V/S, Speed set to 315, actual speed was 300, the plane did not accelerate!!! The A/P set the thrust to 75% N1 which was way too low to maintain the desired 315 knots. So the speed went down and I had to set thrust to manual in order not to…

Captian's, I've taken the Northwest Airlines 757 Repaint as far as I can under the current model. I've licked the main gear door issue but the Horizontal Stab and Texture join issues will have to be addressed on the 3DStudioMax level. So rather than hold up the release of the repaint, I'm going to make this a Beta version, with the understanding that there are issues out of my control but one's that do not detract too greatly from you hopefully enjoying this model, and one's that WILL be address in the near future. Robert's probably out doing his 'other' job, carting people up and down the eastern seaboard so if someone else from PMDG can let me know how I should proce…

After installing the B757 and updating the B777, the B777 has a very strong tendency to the left when taxiing and taking off, although my rudder is centered and there is no wind. I cannot manage to taxi straight forward for 2 inches on the taxiway.Do you think that this has anything to do with the new 757??

Sorry Captains, I had hoped to have this finished for this weekend but several naggling texture issues are preventing me from having this ready. I'll post some screenshots and you'll see what I mean. If I can overcome the texture join, Main gear door and horizontal stab issues, I'll see how Robert wants the pod posted. There are no night textures at this time.Pete

Bill GustafsonKSAT (Alamo City!)I notice that when I fly a plan in VNAV and LNAV mode and manually intervene near the final approach phase to change heading (say for example to add a little spacing or ATC vectors!), the FMC plan disappears from the EHSI as well as the FMC. I did not experience this in the 777. It is helpful when extending your approach, to rejoin it based on the visual situational awareness presented by the EHSI flight plan depiction (which also shows a white dashed line for the ILS track). So far I have have had this happen on flight plans from KSAT to KIAH, and KIAH to KSAT. Anybody else seen this?
