Hi!When flying the 777 or 757 with squawkbox on VATSIM, you can use TCAS to see the other online airplanes. However I haven't seen this wonderful feature implemented in MSFS2K2. Is this because it's not technically possible or if it is, will you try to incorporate it in the airplanes you develop for MSFS2K2?Best regards,KristerFinland

All,What, exactly, is the wind arrow telling me? Is this surface wind? Last night, at FL350, I got indicated winds on the EHSI varying from calm to 7 or 8 knots, while a check of the weather overview window showed winds at varying times during my flight at 27 to 42 knots. On final into KPHX, the indicated winds were exactly what ABQ_CTR said they'd be.It's a handy device, to be sure, because it gives good gouge on a crosswind approach, but shouldn't it provide winds where the airplane is? I'm still learning how to use the FMC's, so I apologize in advance if this error is something I caused and would have figured out if I had read the entire manual. I'm about 1/3 through it but couldn't wait to get this bird off the ground.Anyway, wondering what this error means and how to address it? I couldn't find it in the manual through a fairly comprehensive scan. The error note came up and stayed on screen for about 15 minutes. I have no idea how I cleared it.-DK----Fly! All,Here's an interesting question: is there a limit for the LNAV's ability to hold the flight plan's track through a turn?On the WYLDD1.DRK DP out of KLAS tonight (I love that DP name!) we departed rwy 19L with no problems, VNAV tracked nicely, and LNAV acquired the track easily. First turn looked good (crs 190 to crs 219 at DEALR), but the system had a hard time through the turns at IDALE (219 to 100) and HITME (100 to 069), which I assumed was because the 100 leg was only 15 NM long...however, at the WYLDD turn (right to 121) it seemed to come unglued. Hi Everyone,I've been away so long that I had to re-register!!A quick question to anyone who can help:I purchased the new 757 (went very easily - no problems there) but I have tried now for 7 times to download the aircraft but at various stages - sometimes after 2MB, 8 MB or 10MB into the download I get a very annoying message that says my link with the server has been re-set!! Then, although I'm still on line my download finishes!! This is very annoying because it takes ages to get to 10MB of download!! I've tried to use "Get Right" as suggested in this forum but that just says that a particular bit of code is missing and It cannot do the download. Can anyone help? …

Good evening fellow FLY!II PMDG simmers,Let's start out on a postive note today!I startmed my flight in the 757 from KSEA to KORD. Departure (KSEA 16L) and enroute phase (FL330), and initial decent went predictibly smoothly. UNTIL....... Final decent and approach. I am an experienced 777 sim-flyer. I have spent incredible numbers of hours in the 777. I read that manual twice. Now I have the 757 I have read that manual once. As expected, many similarities. I am haveing major difficulties with the 757. I am no dope - I could fly the 777 perfectly, & flying the 757 should be a task I can handle.Here are the problems:I flew from San Diego to LAX. I armed the VNAV before take off as it said in the manual. Initially it worked fine. I chose to disarm it at one point 7 the damn thing would never let me arm it again. Hi,I know that this has already been mentioned, but I still have the problem:When in FLCH mode, the pitch angle of the 757 is not constant (within certain limits). Instead, the pitch goes up and down like a sine curve. As a result, the V/S changes from 2000 to 4000 (example) and back again. I have been noticing strange power fluctuations with the 757. They occur when the throttles are pulled back to idle during taxi. They happen as follows:1. Begin from a still position.2. With the brakes off, increase power to 45% or so of N1 until the plane starts moving. 3. Pull the throttles back to idle in a single smooth motion.4. The power drops off as expected, but when it reaches idle, it momentarily goes back up slightly before returning to idle and staying there. At first I thought it was something with the sound, but when I looked at the engine read-outs, I could actually see the power go back up (only slightly and only for a fraction of a second). Does a…

Good evening fellow FLY!II PMDG simmers,I believe there was a post regarding the 757 X-wind autoland 3 problem. I'm having the same problem. ANY type of x-wind and the autoland gets off course on the ILS localizer and ends up off the runway. Today I shot an approach to minimums with a half mile visibility, with Autoland completely and appropriatley set up (all three) G/S localizer in the green. I ONLY had a 3Kt X-wind and still ended up about 500 off to the left of runway 25R (KLAX). Has anyone else had this problem consistently as well? Has anybody come across a solution or fix for this in the 757 or 777? The PMDG 757 SPECIFICALY says that the autoland 3 will be in a …
