I can get all main panels, but CTRL-R arrow gives only the front left view and or CTRL-L arrow finally gets to the left rear cockpit view.Do I need to delete a config file? 777 views remain fine...thanksPS When turning to final ILS lineup using HDG SEL the 757 rolled right onto its back and augered in (Jeffco at DEN).. Any idea? Was in 800 fpm descent to catch the glideslope at less than 145 kts and I think almost full flaps... I have had the same error with 777. Is it a quirk in the DEN area?

I have noticed that when on the ground prior to start up, the front left outside door is open. It seems to close at some point during the start up procedure, but I am not sure when. After landing and taxiing to the gate, it does not seem reopen on hsut down. What exactly triggers the door? I have not seen any refference to it in the manual.Andrew

After a difficult time downloading the new 757, i was finally able to install the beauty. A big thank you to Robert Randazzo and Marc Harrington for their help during my download desaster. They were always fast responding and helping.And, it was worth the wait!! This is the best airplane/panel i have ever seen in a sim. All,Thought I was in the clear....Yesterday I got a fix (new render.ini) that allowed me to start FlyII and load the 777. Everything worked well. I bought the new 757, the reason I wanted to upgrade the system in the first place, and as soon as I loaded it and 777 fix, I was back to the the same problem getting the winrun.cpp error before the flight planning screen would even show up.Completely removed FlyII (including defrag), reinstalled. Installed patches, and 777 for FlyII, and revised render.ini file. Everything worked fine - even on Dx8 T&L, high texture. As soon as I installed the 757, same problem.This is really frustrating - any additional help would be most …

Hey, I have just purchased my 757 and having downloaded it in under 1hr 30mins on a 56k am extremly pleased with the product. I must say to everyone at PMDG, A very well done aircraft of my favourite Boeing...pity you won't be doing a Airbus A320. Once again well done, and sorry for the short note...gonna go fly this thing again..too good.cheers,

It could be my settings, but does the 757 sound a little like driving a bus?......sounds a little strange to me, but it could be my setup.Andy

I've posted some screenshots on my first repaint of the '57 over on the main Fly! forum. Just need to align some textures and resize a few others. Most of the preliminary work I did with the beta paint kit will be usable with a minimum of work. THe new paintkit should make doing new liveries easier. I'll wait to see what uploading procedure Robert want's the customers to follow before posting the repaint.Pete

Robert I have just printed the manual and I noticed a minor error.If you print it all, the pagenumbers ends up towards the centre from page 9-1 and onwards.But if you omit page 8-11 (wich is "intentionally blank" anyway) the pagenumbers ends up in the correct place. (towards the edge of the pages)Another solution would of course be inserting a page 8-12 (also intentionally blank)Just thought I'd let you know. :-) No big deal.(So much just from reading the pagenumbers. I was wondering how long does it take to get the download email on avaerage. I ordered the 757 last night but nothing came through so I thought I'd go to bed and fly the 757 in the morning but still nothing is this normal or has something gone wrong?.

First of all, a BIG thanks to the PMDG team for an outstanding product. Its a dream to fly.One question: I put all the FSbuild flightplans from the NAVdatabase in the /pmdg directory. If I'm not mistaken i should now just have to push the load button on the FMS to select between the diffrent flightplans. However, when i press the load button all i get is an empty screen.Any ideas?cheersAndy

How do you import the SID/STAR database (downloaded from PMDG no readme) into FLY!II? Does it go into the PMDG folder or what? Sorry, I don't feel like reading through 400+ pages of manuals (757,777). No readme file is included in the download.Thanks,CB

Herewith I would like to congratulate the whole PMDG team with the release of this much anticipated B757. So far I have only been able to do a few short flights and I have to admit that I still have to read most of the excellent flight manual, but the little experience left me deeply impressed. The behavior (handling) of the plane is wonderful. I already starts when taxiing. No need to constantly adjust thrust in order to stay within taxi speed limits. In-flight handling also is a delight. What a joy to fly. And I guess Michael J. can finally be happy about a flight director in Fly! II. I look forward to exploring the many possibilities of this plane, when studying the ma…

1) What exactly are Victor Routes, & when are they used? 2)Do jets ever fly IFR without them?3) When are jet pilots likely going to be asked to to fly to specific "intersections" (the ones that are labeled)?4) How do you fly to specific intersections on the 777 - do you tune 2 radios & wait for both left & right needles to be centerd on your PFDs?5) How real does Fly2 immitate the need to fly on Victor Routes & to specific intersections?Thanks as always.Chris Catalano

I got the invalid request error when I switched downloading accelerators!I was determined I opened my Netscape instead of using Internet Explorer and open my email link and dowloaded it without the accelerator and WALLA. It worked....I'm excited to try my JUMBO out....Good LuckIn short try using a different browser when opening the link!

I recently upgraded my system, including a new graphics card, Radeon 8500, in anticipation of the 757 coming out.When I start Fly II, I get a flashing, rotating aircraft, with no scenary or runway. I am running the latest driver for the card. I have tried reinstalling Fly II, and all the patched with no success. I don't know much about editing the render.ini file. I did do a search and tried a few things - like running under Dx7. Only problem is when I do that, it starts up fine, but as soon as I click on the PMDG 777, the sim freezes and gives me a runtime exception message for WINRUN.CPP, line 152. When I do run DX8 or DX8 T&L, I can still switch "flashing aircraft"…

I was finally able to download the 757 at 3:30 this morning,thanks to PMDG for getting the server problems worked out,now when I installed onto Fly2 I was unable to update the 777 it tried but said there it was not a valid update.The next problem was when I tried to start Fly2 I get a expection error and boots me back to desktop.I was able to use Fly2 before installing the 757 and I do not have the 2.30 patch on the system.My System is a p3 800 ,512 ram, GForce3 with 64megs ram SBLive sound card and I am running Windows XP home edition

I downloaded and installed the 757 with the 777 update, and, I took the 777 for a flight, and it was real smooth. The 757 is new, I have to learn to fly it. :-jumpy
