Take a look at the attached image. Very strange fuel calculations suggesting I'll have less fuel at ToD than when I land! This may have been identified and fixed but without a published list I don't know. Anyway, another possible problem that needs looking at.Cheers,

Like most of us, I have been waiting for months you great product, but had bad news when trying to install. Could you please help me on those issues in order to finally enjoy your 737 asap.1. 3 extra set up files.Have downloaded the main PDMG file and the 3 extra set up files (18mb, 18mb and 15mb).Those three files are not executable and cannot be opened. I read somewhere that they should be placed all in the same folder...But which one ? Should they go along with the main file.I have three PDMG folders, in:a) program files, where I have downloaded the manual:( fs2002 root folderc) fs2002/aircraftWhere should the extra files go ? Any place where I could find detailed docu…

That doesn't sound very friendly, does it :-) The thing is, I use S-Combo for a co-pilot and although I appreciate the fact that I can deselect the GPWS sounds in the PMDG menu, I would also like to be able to deselect the V calls.By the way, is it me, or does the V1 call sound like it it supposed to be a computer generated call, like the GPWS sounds?Leo Bakker

Hi all,I'm starting to get really frustrated. I saved a Cold&Dark situation, shutting everything down on the PMDG 737 following the checklists from the manual. Now every time I reload the plane from that situation for some reason even if everything is shutdown the #2 engine is already running and the VOR/ILS/NDB radios are not working.I then encounter problem with starting the #1 engine. I did not save from a default aircraft shutdown...so avionics haven't been touched. To make it more complete we need a pre-saved Cold/Dark situation from PMDG such as PSS did. That would top it off. It's really frustrating, and having to load everytime a default plane to shutdown everyt…

I was surprised to learn today, that on the real 737 it's possible to put the speedbrake lever in the full UP position in flight (i.e. move it past the Flight Detent position). This is definitely different from the 747-400 which only allows the lever to move to the Flight Detent position. Moving the lever to the UP position on a 737 won't allow the Ground Spoilers to deploy, however. These are mechanically locked out until the weight of the aircraft is on the main landing gear.BTW, 737 pilots never use this position in flight, even in an emergency descent, so there's no need for a simulator to model this ;-)Another piece of 737 trivia ;-)Cheers.Ian.

Hi, Bought the 737 yesterday, and what a excellent aircraft it is! I did a search for 'drift' but nothing came up so here it is....I was on a flight today, CRZ 35,000, and the aircraft was drifting 10nm left of track. Is this reasonable for the autopilot? Aircraft trk was 314, wind was 224/16.Thanks.Jamie Blethyn, UK

Folks; After some analysis of the PMDG 737 fuel system, I make the following observations and/or recommendations: The fuel selector is being modulated back/forth between right and left tank internally by the panel. As a result, fuel burn does not reflect any differential in fuel flow if one engine is burning more than the other, i.e. with one pulled back at idle for a malfunction or simulated single engine approach. Aditionally, if one tank reaches zero quantity--even with the crossfeed open--both engines flame out because internally they are both being fed by the one (empty) side. With crossfeed closed, and a single center boost pump on, the center tank erroneously …

Hi all,I have a problem in that when I shut the engines down, I lose electrical power and all the displays go blank. I have started the APU prior to shutting down the displays, and also have ground power connected as per the OH panel. Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong. Also, I can't seem to load a saved flight plan back into the FMS. I have typed in all the waypoints and airways, and then saved the FPL as per FMS option, but cannot figure out how to reload it. The flight plan is in the directory Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 2002PMDGFlight Plans. They are all there - ending in .rteAny suggestions would be greatly appreciated.ThanksBryan

I see my thread on cockpit lighting was locked, despite the overwhelming "neutral" tone of the thread. You have really made me rethink the worth of my purchase if that is your attitude. You should know change the thread "PMDG Forum Guidelines 07MAR03" , number 6, "You are welcome to offer *your* opinion freely! While we certainly enjoy hearing that our customers enjoy the user of our products- we do not discourage postings that bring our attention to deficiencies or problems. Just remember to be courteous and we will do our best to help you!" That policy has obviously changed.Joe Lorenc

Lefteris, I know that the team work hard to make this 737NG, and I think it will be a "must have" for FS2004.I'm really sorry if I hurt your feelings with my opinions about the flood light, but the 737NG can't be used at night IMHO., no wonder why in real life you turn off the floodlights on approach and landing.I don't saw your previews screens, but maybe when the people asked PMDG for flood lights they wanted 2 options, floodlights and backlighting??? not just floodlights?, I don't know, like I said I don't saw your previews. Please take in consideration that in the other side, our side, the customers side, we are a little disappointed with the actual performance of this…

These aircraft are the easiest to hand fly that I've ever seen, and the detail is absolutely inceredible! Thanks for putting in so much time and effort to make such a wonderful product! I can't believe how great these aircraft are! Keep up the excellent work guys! Scott Stephen CYXE, Saskatoon

Terry,I have installed your SID/STAR converter in a separate directory on my F: drive. I logged onto www.seaartcc.org/767pic as you recomended, downloaded CYYZ-V2.zip (CYYZ STARS WITH RUNWAY TRANSITIONS V2.0 by Ian Elchitz 04/15/2002) and unzipped it into its own directory.I launched the converter, clicked Find It and dbl-clicked on the directory where I unzipped CYYZ-V2.zip. When I click Next I get the error message "Error '76' with SID/STAR Converter, Path Not Found" and the program shuts down. Can you please help?Alan

I really need the possibility to enter "above" and "below" when creating SID/STARs ...I.e. :SID VOR1A RNW 09 NAVAID VOR1 NAVAID VOR2 19000 NAVAID VOR3If the aircraft is above FL190 between VOR1 and VOR2 - then the aircraft disconnects VNAV at the point where it knows it cannot reach FL190 at VOR2 ...I need to be able to do like this :SID VOR1A RNW 09 NAVAID VOR1 NAVAID VOR2 19000A NAVAID VOR3or 19000B - where A would mean : 19000 feet or Above - and B would mean 19000 or Below.Martin

I just noticed that on the PFD the localizer deviation scale is visible when there is a VOR tuned in NAV1. Also, above the ADI the VOR is identified and where usually the ILS course is given, there is now a bearing from the VOR. I think at that shouldn't be there for a humble VOR signal :-)Also, when tuned to an ILS, with the deviation slightly more than one half dot, shouldn't the scale expand? I believe you can tell when that happens, because then the circles become squares.Leo BakkerP.S. In case you're getting sick and tired of my comment I just want to repeat I really like the sim, otherwise I would never go to this trouble. I like to think that I might be contributin…

Hi!Whenever I retard from reverse to idle thrust I notice a jump forward in the plane as if I've put positive thrust.. I taught It was strange for this to occur but presumed it was correct, util I've read that this may nor occur in real life. There is a simple test. Standing still in a runway just aply full reverse and then put in idle and see what happens! Before any one ask's, I have all the controlers properly calibrated INCLUDING a neutral zone...Jos

Prior to moving things around between HDD's last night I nervously pressed the button to kill the current license and get a transfer key for the 737. It wasn't until around midnight GMT that I sent off the request for a new registration key. And I had one sent back in less than four hours. Pretty good service for a Saturday night/Sunday morning. During my latest flight I noticed the following: at a certain point before level off during a VNAV climb the SPEED light comes on. I get the impression that as the aircraft is climbing rapidly, at one point N1 is replaced by FMC SPD in the A/T logic and at that point the SPEED light comes on.Now, it seems to me that you could never have the VNAV and the SPEED light on at the same time. Boeing logic is always that a button on the MCP with a light on means that that particular mode can be deselected by pushing that button again. Obviously, while VNAV is in control, you couldn't deselect the A/T mode, and indeed, in the situation I describe above pushing the lighted SPEED bu…

Hi guys,During the approach, you should get an indication on the MASI for the next higher flap position maneuvering speed. This is so you know at what speed to set the MCP if you are decelarating and decide to go to a higher flap setting. Currently, you first have to set the flaps and then see what speed the MASI comes up with. Although I realize that any good pilot should know the flap maneuvring speed schedule by heart anyway :-)Leo Bakker

So, for those of you who have experienced the problem, I am looking for a few additional flight plans and/or very specific scenarios to test FPS and memory usage for the upcoming patch.
