PMDG,Take a look at the two attached screenshots. I was enroute LSGG (Geneva) to LEMD (Madrid) and after entering GAI in the fix screen and pressing ABeam the information looked very strange. I was offered two GAIs but I know I picked the correct one. does not work...My temp period is over and all it says is "invalid machine code" in little windows. I try to type the code in or cut and paste it, and it won't bring up a window when I press "register" after going into extend registration? Do I need to reinstall, and if so, how do I get the base package again without repaying for it?Loved it for one day, now can't use it!Frustrated!Christopher

I reformatted XP, as well, I changed the graphics card memory aperture to 64mb, from 256mb. The NG runs great now, 20 fps solid outside and in, at ORD with high detail and some AA to boot! If anyone still has problems, setting your aperture size lower in your BIOS may help.

"Bug" report:1. EFIS says in blue font APRT when ARPT button pressed (show airports).I think it should say ARPT ;)2. When entering waypoints through LEG page of the FMC the last line (by the last right LSK) does not show _ _ _ _ _ it is blank. All the other entrance lines show correctly dashed lines for input except for the last one. If I am not clear enough I will attach an screenshot. But just try entering waypoints in FMS LEG page and you will see that by the last LSK you will not get dashed lines and for all the rest it works.Just small issues, but we do try to make this new PIC don't we? ;)AleksandarGreetings from 100km south of north pole circle

I just purchased the 737NG from you guys and I installed it without a hitch...Then I go into FS to load the aircraft up to get my reg. number (or whatever it's called) and I get this error:Unable to load 3rd Party Software GAUGESPMDG_737NG_Main.GAUWhat does this mean??I didn't have any issues during the install....:(Any help would be greatly appreciated, my specs are in my sig.!!!!!!!!!!

The overspeed and underspeed symbols in the speed display are one of those nice, innovative features of this sim. However, they're part of the command speed limiting system, which means that by adjusting either pitch or thrust the aircraft will maintain a speed that is just above the minimum speed for the current flap setting or just below the maximum speed for Vmo or flap or gear limit, even though the speed set in the display may be different. The flashing symbols indicate that this speed limiting process is taking place. However, this part is not functioning. The aircraft will quite happily fly itself into the red bands, which it shouldn't.Leo Bakker

Hi thereNot sure if this has been brought up before (I did do a search but found nothing much related) But I've been trying out some 3hr+ flights the last couple of days and Ive been having my Speed Tape indicator go to nothing (well 30kt) and also at the same time my FMC then shows no fuel readouts.The flight still continues on LNav but the controll of the speed is impossible even when switching to Speed instead of VNav.The speed problem I've confirmed by using FS Flightkeeper and that shows 0 in the speed colum but it does show fuel still being burnt off.The first 3 times this happened was approx 2hrs 30 mins into the flight with the flights being EGCC to GCRR, KBFI to …

Hi PMDG, I am having trouble with two knobs in particular and one switch. Knobs,The N1 and V1/Vr/V2 bugs have inner and outer knobs, i cannot figure out how to turn the inner knob? APU Switch:I cannot seem to turn the APU off, even though I select the switch to what I belive is the off potition (the switch appears to be horizontal, there is start which is all the way down, then it seems that on is at a 45 angle and off is where you only see the tip of the switch. it looks off, but the apu still runs? Thanks a ton!

When airborn I'm sure I heard come clicks (probably switch) during climb and also during descent.I admit I wasn't attentive as to notice exactly at what stage.Did somebody else notice those as well?can anyone shed some light wether these are normal or maybe this is a result of some kind of coding error?//Mike*edit* (spelling)

I have installed the program sucessfully but when I start FS I get a message saying PMDGOptions.dll error, I can not get the plane to start either when I click on it in FS, it causes the program to crash? Whats up with that?thanks

I have a few questions about this great new aircraft and how to do things with it. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to computers so these may seem rather basic but I would appreciate anyone who has the time to respond. Many thanks.- Is there a virtual cockpit and if so how is it accessed?- I've read the installation instructions re new liveries but aftere running the installer other things are to be done.... hi PMDGit happens that since a few days my fs2002 always crashes whenever i try to load your panel.i have spent hours and hours testing, no way to get it to work anymore.it is panel related, but i have no clue what it is. i exchanged your panel with the DF panel and the fs2002 loads your model perfectly.there was no change on the system, except the installation of the Meljet V2, which i assume does not impact on the PMDG panel.any idea what i could do?is there a beta of the patch, which i could test? i can't be worse than it was before.cheers

Just wanted to post a warning to other users, that programs like Partition Magic, which alter hard disk formats, will invalidate your license key.I found out the hard way, but PMDG were rapid in their response and I am up and running once again! Thanks Robert.Graeme

I have read all the manuals, but they are not as detailed about the FMC as the Fly II 757/777 mauals were, so here are my questions:Approaching an airport with STAR pre-programmed in the FMC. Going through the last waypoint, the FMC obviously enables the ILS? I have discovered as long as I have tuned in the ILS frequencies on the radio stack, I don`t need to switch in the two VOR/ILS buttons, the FMC finds the ILS anyway. (It`s the same on the Fly II 757/777).An approach problem: Again flying a STAR approaching the airport. Now, if I don`t pass through the last waypoint in the STAR, the ILS is messed up every time. During autoland I noticed the following:- The second A/P couldn't be selected until after capture of LOC and G/S. In the real thing, the APP mode in itself permits selecting the second A/P. This arms the second A/P for automatic engagement after LOC and G/S capture and when descent below 1500 feet RA occurs. At that point Single Channel turns into CMD.- The F/D bars should go out of view at 50 ft, since flare is not a F/D mode, only an autopilot mode- And not just for autoland but for single channel ILS approaches as well: there is a self test of the ILS deviation system between 1,500 and 800 feet. Satisfactory completion of this will be indicated by a 2 second deviation…

Hi againI thought I should post these pictures as well. As others have mentioned there is a bobbing up and down around at some times. I experienced this tonight. FL390, M0.78. VNAV and LNAV A/P engaged.Also N1 was not stable as can be seen in the below pics. First couple is below cruise level. And the second couple is above cruise. Can someone please help me? I'm stuck in the desert right now, deployed AF. Cant get to the navdata.at site to download the airac file for some reason. At about FL260, the speed in the speed display should automatically change from IAS to MACH or reverse. I haven't seen that happen.Leo Bakker

When using ground power (no engines/APU running), I can't seem to get any hydraulic power out of the Elec Hydraulic Pumps. i.e. no px indications on the EICAS.... and no movement of things like TE Flaps.Is this a 737 thing? Do I need anything other than the overhead elec pump switches to be on?ThanksCheers.Ian.

Well,I purchase this product today then download it and install it with no problems at all. It was great it took me 5 min from purchasing then download and install.i send e-mail request for product key with along sending my computer generated key and my order id.But my fs2002 starting giving me a trouble about fs2002 dxdiag file.it was keep crasing on me with out checking out my new 737-700.so i had to reinstall fs2002 same day, ofcourse i did not know about that if you change your hardware or reinstall OS, customer has to re gerate computer code.I am sorry if i am wrong but when i read all support page no one said EVEN YOU REINSTALL FS2002 you have to unregister. I think the FD is well done and very smooth. Of course, in my experience in the KLM 738 sim the real thing is even better, but it better well be at that price tag. One thing that particularly struck me in the real thing was the behaviour when initiating a turn. I was handflying and asked the co-pilot to set the new heading, to the left. What happened was that almost imperceptably the FD would move to the left and nearing the new heading to the right. By doing nothing but concentrate on the FD you'd almost unconsciously make a very smooth turn, get to the right bank angle and get back out at the right heading.
