What all is required to perform an autoland? I am assuming that in the 767PIC you need multiple autopilots to be active at the same time. I have yet to have but one selected and certainly have not had an annunciator showing "Autoland" or anything close. I've had to disconnect the AP at 300 ft and land manually each time I've landed the NG. I don't want to assume that the autoland is active. (BTW: I have not read all of the manuals as yet :-roll -- and haven't flown the NG for several days -- due to the presence of a houseguest x( ). I will check out the manual later this week.

Hi All,Further to my posting earlier, I have now managed to extract the .exe but now I have a problem when trying to install the software ?The installer gets 3/4 of the way through installing and then hangs on this:-c:..modelWLASVCCABpmdg737-700WLASUCCAB.mdlAny known issues with this anyone ? Hi, I have just one question, before I'll think of buying the 737 which looks very interesting to me, is it possible to undock the FMC to run it on a seperate monitor? And how does the airplane fly, whats the overall impression?thanks in advance.

Dear All,last night I purchased the 737 at my mates house on his broadband service, burned a disk and brought the little baby home, major problem then occurred when trying to copy the files, basically what ever I did, it would not allow me to copy them so ... (the sories continues)...I went home today and tried to download at home, I only have dial up connection, but neverless managed to download all four files in around 4 hrs (impresses) ? - not much I can tell you !!Anyway, when I try to unzip the main download file I am receiving an error which states that:-Cannot open file it does appear to be a valid archiveif you downloaded this file try downloading it againThere is…

Hi guys,During a test flight I hadn't set my radios to any particular radio station. Then at FL200 the ILS deviation scales for both the LOC and G/S appeared and just above the ADI the identifier was visible. In map view I found that indeed my radio was tuned to the ILS of a nearby airport, however I was rather suprised to get an ILS this high up. Is this right?Leo Bakker

I noticed the following behaviour: when there is already a speed in the speed display when engaging LVL CHG, the speed display will change to the current speed. I don't think this is right, according to my manuals:- if a speed mode is not active, existing speed becomes target speed.- if a speed mode IS active, this speed is retained as target speed.The behaviour I described can easily be recreated by handflying the aircraft while the FD is in V/S and the A/T is in MCP SPD. If you don't fly this accurately there will be a difference between the speed bug setting and the actual speed. I was wondering if it was OK for me to test out the 737 for 10 days. My friend has a copy and I would love to try it, he lent me the installer files. Rest assured, I will probably purchase it at the end of the month, lol.Is this OK or definetly not? I saw this post saying that it might be possible... is it still? yeap!aproaching 10000ft to land in kphx the FMC lit "more drag" so I engaged the spoilers in FLdetent position, I was cruising at 310Kt for a target of 240Kt. When the autopilot stabilized the plane slightly above 10000 to reduce speed, the N1 increased more, even when IAS was still at 290!!Isn't it suposed to go to idle thrust?Ps: In another flight I've tried a V/S descend in speed mode and got always non idle (for me idle is until about 30% N1) thrust...Any lead about what was wrong?Thank'sJos

I was wondering if the cargo/service doors opened on the aircraft? When walking around in virtual mode, it appears that the doors should open, I just can't seem to do it. shift-E works fine for the the front door...and usually hitting 2,3 or 4 after that would open cargo or service doors (on other FS aircraft) - shift-T or shift-F also do not work. Anyone have any [email protected]

I've been flying the PMDG 737NG for a week now and I have the following comments (I'll try not to mention the obvious stuff like APU bottle discharge, Left Fuel Tank imbalance, etc...)1. Why is the clock only visible on the approach panel?? Can it be moved to the main panel??2. BTW, the clock doesn't seem to display zeros when required for minutes, e.g. 18:05 is shown as 18:5 without the zero in front of the five.3. Had some weird behavior with the magenta line on the ND when executing a Direct-To maneuver. Hi people at PMDG.I haven't had a proper chance to fly your plane yet, but on first look, it's excellent! A few little things i noticed which could be 'improved' (well from my point of view anyway).1. Could you please remove that really annoying approach chart in the VC? Being so big and white its really distracting!2. I might be wrong, but from what i remember of my jumpseat landing in an -800, the trim wheel moves alot, and quickly! It wizzes round several times as the flaps are extended. i haven't tried the autotrim on yours yet but it hardly moves at all when i manually trim. Hello,I have to say that i really love this aircraft, it has all the right things going for it. I am sure that after the patch things will be ever better.One question i have is why is the 737 dependant on the PIC fmc data. I just reinstalled my system for the 3 time in two weeks and wondered why the fmc was saying data invalid or not in database. I understand that if I follow your instructions and transfer the code before the installation of the new DDR, my current license will be terminated. I'm having a lot of difficulty in controlling the PMDG737 when taxiing. I can control the 767PIC perfectly and having a CH Pro Throttle allows very fine control of the throttles but despite this the speed either goes up to 19kts+ or back to zero with very little change in throttle movement. Is it possible this could be fixed please? I'm sure I'm not alone in experiencing this problem.Something to consider... the 767PIC has an indicator against the N1 gauge that shows the current amount of power being applied which is very useful especially during taxi. Could this be included in the PMDG737?Thanks,

Would it be possible, without too much difficulty ;-), to modify the graphics of the Stab Trim Cutout switches to show the switches resting on top of the guard when NOT cutout? HiI have noticed many times that the FMC calculated takeoff speeds are not in accordance with actual conditions. Hi all.Have installed the above painting after I have downloaded it from the PDMG-website.Problem:I can only choose the SAS-version when aircraft-model is 'default' - that means I can not have virtual cockpit or cabine. If I try to choose the 737-600 with virtual cockpit and cabine then I can only fly the basic PDMG-aircraft.What have I done wrong during my installation? Or is it a software error from PDMG?Needless to say that I have followed the instruc. and have copy/pasted the data that comes with each livery into the 737-600 aircraft.CFG file.... In the issues thread I saw someone mention the fact that the MB setting of the standby altimeter doesn't change, only the HG setting. I just noticed something that's probably connected to this same thing: after changing the baro setting, there are two altitude pointers in the standby altimeter. One is stationary and one moves.Further, while in the cruise and fiddling with the baro setting the standby ASI dropped to zero, then got back to the original air speed. When I turned the barometric selector again, the ASI dropped again.Leo Bakker

Hi!Sorry if this issue has been brought up earlier. I have searched the forum, but didn't find any posts mentioning this particular problem.After starting the engines (following the checklists and instructions) I have a problem switching from APU generators to ENG generators. If a move the GEN1/2 switches to the ON position, nothing happens. However, if I first move them to the OFF position and then back to ON, it works (then I hear the clicking relay sound).
