The module in error is GAUGESPMDG_737NG_Main.GAU.My System : W98SE + FS2002Well.. I've..- Installed the Software WITH the FS2002 Option- Loaded the Microsoft GDI ( by the way, where must it be putted ? )- The PMDG dll is OK; I can view it when loading any other aircraft- The Aircraft itself seems to be OK, i can load and even flight with it, but only with external view... when I try to load the Cockpit.. error bla bla bla- I've putted the (OLD MODULES) section in fs2002.cfg ... nothing ... with or without the p…

Hi everybody. One question i took a quick look at the manuals and mabey i missed it but is there a hidden spot on the FMC somewhere so you can type the info by using the keyboard....Thanks bob

I must say that the website looks impressive. Now:1. When the second release comes out (Anybody know when?) will it be a free upgrade or will it be extra?2. Is there really anything that is not included. Like it said that relevent FMC modes were modeled. What's being left out?I'm leaning towards waiting till FS2004 comes out (I don't have 2002) and the second release of the add on. But if it's a free upgrade what the heck. Thanks for any answers.Dustin Pearson

A good test for a _flight simulator_ electrical system is to take off, find a clear bit of airspace above 10,000'... and switch off your engine/APU generators and battery/Stby Power systems.... and see which airplane systems still work. Note: This is not the same as switching your engines off... Your engines should still be running* and your flight controls/Trim(manual, at least) should still be working.... which gives you time to experiment. As far as I know, your flaps and landing gear should also work normally, too (but don't expect things such as autoslats and flap load relief to operate).*As long as you're gentle with them On most aircraft, only the "Hot" battery bus…

I just uploaded my KPHX and KTUS procedure files to the new 737NG section at www.navdata.at (first USA upload :-hah) Please make sure you open the files (esp the KPHX one) and read the note about how I compensated for the lack of transition and runway specific modeling in the FMC, otherwise you may have trouble finding the correct procedure. Everything is up to date with the latest charts and I tested most of them - if you do find an error, please let me know at [email protected] (note that I purposely left out soft altitude restrictions like "at or above" since the FMC doesn't model them just yet)More on the way - probably KDEN and KLAX next...Enjoy!Ryan

It seems that the GS and ASI don't match on the ground, and the dot for the MCP speed selection is a full 20 kts more than what's shown on the EADI. Bad download?

Captains-We've been reading with interest the various posts and threads on memory use by our airplane, as well as some concern about memory leakage. As part of our "update process" we are aggressively reviewing the memory usage of the airplane to determine if it is out of line with what we would expect, knowing as we do, what is happening behind the screen. The discussions and (gasp!) experimentation have provent interesting to read- and may of the more knowledgeable users have given us some interesting items to review and test.We have not been posting too many direct replies into these threads, but they are being taken quite seriously internally at PMDG.Our Lead Developer,…

G'day, this is a post on my personal preferences and ideas/ comments on this product, if possible I would love to have a reply from PMDG regarding some of these issues. I will most likely list some ones that have been listed before. However I would like to confirm.(1) - Night Lighting, when flying during the late hours of the day, If you go through the transition from standard lighting, into the night lighting in FS2002 (as in the logo lights come on, ect at dusk), the user experiences (me) gauges "blacking out" and the overhead panel is all messy, and some gauges just have a solid grey or similar colour box over them..(2) - Sound... While flying from YMML-YBCG (Melbourne…

Guys,Here is my problem, LNAV seems to over compensate on turns towards a specified waypoint, as indicated in the FMC. In the pictures I took, the aircraft came from the south of the pink line, the aircraft, I believe should have neared the pink line, then turned eastwards towards MSS32. However, the aircraft crossed the line, then attempted to turn back, as in picture 2 and 3, then again crosses the pink line southerly, and again attempts to correct. As it seems to me, I am making slow and distance consuming "s" turns all though the sky, taking forever to get to my waypoint. The aircraft starts south of the line to the waypoint, goes north, overcompensates to the sou…

I havn't seen these on any of the threads, each time I fly in the 737TNG and then switch to another aircraft, say a 727, as soon as the panel begins to load I crash to the desk top. There is no error message just a crash like FS kicked me off. Has anyone else seen this? The second thing is, and I am sure this is just me, when lined up with the ILS and below the GS I activate APP and the aircraft turns to the left and each time I have had to fly a mised approach because I have full deflection? The GS was right on but the deflection is call for a go around. This happened at KPHL 27L and KORF 05 any Help?ThanksJeremy

Hi,Enjoying the manuals immensely. I was looking through the FAQs as I am having the fuel imbalance problem (left fuel selector only, right selector only, right engine runs out of fuel when main tank empties, etc. etc.) and I noticed that the FAQ indicates "users have reported this very infrequent issue."Is this a downplay or am I really among the minory who experiences fuel imbalances and oddities with fuel in the -600 and -700? I assume this would be patched later in the month, but is this phenomenon really a rarity?Jeff

Hi Guys,Just thought I would start an "appreciation" thread for what I can see has already been a labour of love for you. I, like many I'm sure, have been very impressed with the handling and general look and feel of your 737NG. The paint work and exterior model are SUPERB, the panel is well on its way to becoming one of (if not) the best ever designed. With your continued and so far tireless efforts, I have no doubt that this aircraft will be the benchamrk for FS2004, just like PIC767 was for FS2000. Dont worry about the bugs..sure there are a few, but we know you are working very hard on them. I dont know any software that comes out totally bug free....its just not poss…

It says in the product specification, that there is a virtual cabin. Does anyone know how to get into it? Also when you select a failure, the failure doesn't actually happen although it says it has when you go back into the PMDG failure options.Anyone got any suggestions

Hi thereI could't find a thread for "bug reporting" and I could't see anything about this.It just a minor thing. The flap gauge in the 2D panel and in the VC is not synconized. When I press 3 times on F7, then the indicator in the 2D panel is correct on 5 degrees, but in the VC its only showing 1 degree. That all, :DThanks for a great add on.BrSteen P

Hi all,I know from this forum that the stairs extension and retraction are mapped to the Concorde Nose and Visor operations but:1)Are there any more key assignments particular to the 737NG?2)Is there a list somewere that I did not find in the documentation?3)Are there any default FS2002 key assignments that should NOT be used, or else? Thanks, Firmo

what am I doing wrong?whenever the central tanks run out of fuel, the engins shut down and I can't turn them on again (other tanks are full pumps are on and x-feed engaged).Makes an interesting emergency although thats not my original intention.

When I load the -not yet registered- NG panel in the 2D panel only version it takes exactly 3 minutes on a default airfield to load no matter if I load from PIC 767 or the default Chessna. The average loading time for any other high-end add-on (look at my forum name :-) ) is 30 to 45 seconds on a rather well performing system (1,8 GH processor, 512 RAM, 64 MB nVidia graphic).Loading the supanels like the overhead takes about 2 seconds, so this is not a problem.Do you have any hints how to accelerate this initial loading time?

Hello everyone,This is more of an informative posting than anything so take it for what it is worth. I have been asked to share the autopilot test work to the world for general information.I have been working with the autopilot all week with excellent support from Vangelis. We have pushed it to the absolute limits with a few test scenarios to see if she will stay well inside of the CFR requirement for Category III certification. Most of what I read about issues with the ILS system, autoland, and general operation of the AP/FD systems are user error (please, NO ONE TAKE ANY OFFENSE AS I WAS KING OF USER ERROR HERE TO START!).Following the manual will produce a very function…
