Hi,In the load manager, the passengers can be loaded using randomic positions or only from the front to the back of the 737 ? Any difference in center of gravity ?And is there a way to load the aircraft without panel, only full view plus dir views ??? I use project magenta and I'd like to load the aircraft as simple as possible to be compatible with magenta software. Thanks for any answer,Ulisses

Hey I am about to purchase the PMDG 737 but I am confused about what this AirNav stuff is used for or what all of these downloads are for the FMC. I have never used a product with a fully functional FMC so this is all new to me, could someone plese help me with the understanding of AirNav and other downloads for this FMC. Thanks, Billy

Hi guys!Well, after a little teething trouble, I have finally got her airborne - she is a beauty!! I am eagerly looking forward to the patch (as we all are) so as to make this package perfect.Would you consider adding the wing views to either the 2D or VC versions of the aircraft (or both)? I would love to have wing views without the system overhead of the whole cabin if possible. Many thanks again - you have really excelled yourselves!!RgdsJonathan

Just seems to me that 737NG has difficulties to level off at initial altitude after take off...whatever vertical mode you set on MCP(tried v/s, vnav, flch...) after TO and engaging autopilot...If for exemple you set 3000ft as initial climb in MCP...after take off 737NG almost never levels off at the set altitude. She first goes to about 3500-3700 ft(sometimes further!) and then after descends back to 3000ft...Don't know if it has been noticed by someone else before(?)...Your aircraft will be "The Bombay"!!!!Cheers, Fritz

Hi all,I noticed that when I arm the Autobrakes for landing when I touch down they engage ok, but I cannot disengage them by pressing either the brakes key on the keyboard or on the yoke.To disengage them I have to click on the button itself with the mouse. Is this normal? Thanks.Regards,Bjorn

Guys,Only a small problem, when I use LNAV with my flightplan, I take off, the plane turns in the correct direction, however, it overshoots the correct line to the waypoint, then overcorrects and so on, so I do get to the waypoint, however, I get there by making slow 's' turns all over the sky. Thanks for any advice in advance!Regards,

I'm working on updating the SIDS&STARS database for Norway, but I'm short of some parameters to use for intercepting a certain raidial from a VOR.I am familiar with the "hold hdg until radial xxx from navaid xxx" and the "not before xxx" parameters, but I find it impossible to pas a navaid and then do a right turn to intersept an outbound radial from the same navaid in one of my SIDS !I forgot to mention that I've tryed to use the INTERCEPT parameter, but it just gives me an "ERROR in line 20", and I don't get any RWY's nor SIDS awailable in my FMC.Could someone from the PMDG team, or someone else who are familiar with all the parameters that can be used to write SIDS…

Anyone else having trouble with this one? I can only choose "Default" in the menus to get the SAS livery with 2D cocpit only. When I check the "Addto" text I have pasted into Aircraft.cfg I find several faults: All the 3 [fltsim] entries lists the plane as "737 with 2D Cocpit". And in the last entry, the jet is listed as 737-700 and not 737-600. I tried to correct this but to no avail...So when (if) you get time, can you do a check on the SAS "Addto" text?No big haste, I am quite happy with th 2D cocpit :)

I do like this aircraft more from day to day. Following the usual procedures, it flies very well and especially systems dysplay are very well done - these smooth moving waypoints on the ND...There is one remark though regarding the radio stack. I am seriously disappointed about how the after pedestal looks. It seems that you are using the default FS radios, the font is the same, ASP is completely missing. There are no rudder and alerion trim switches visible. There is no "lower EICAS monitor" or whatever it is named in the NG, and it is not possible to switch the upper EICAS monitor to show the missing indications. In my personal opinion it is not well enough done for the…

  13. I can't find the man/auto setting for the nav radios, and it may be that the real NG doesn't have auto-tuning of nav radios too (although I recall the 737-400 does, if the DF panel is accurate). This is not a gripe, and no biggy if it's not modelled, just a question assuming it's there but I haven't found it yet. Thanks,Bruce.

Hi,I do have a quesiton regarding the altitude restrictions on the FMC. I am trying to enter a restriction for "at or above 3500ft". While I can enter "3500A", which should do what I want, the FMC doesn't seem to care about the "or above" after the 3500. The 737NG always tries to hit the waypoint at excactly 3500ft, even though the MCP is set to 8000 and there was plenty of distance to climb to at least 5000 with normal climb rates. The same problem seem to exist for a "at or below" restriction. The plane also tries to meet the restriction exactly, which doesn't always make sense. Therefore, I'd like to know whether this is simply not modelled and will be implemented later,…

Based on my real-life experience with operating two -700NG in Greece, the configs were as follows:-Engine version:-7B20 (that is 20k thrust)-Seating: 149 single class at a 29" pitch (not that the passengers were that comfy indeed!!)which was actually the configuration preferred by European charter carriers (and, seemingly, not preferred by LA Lakers basketball players to say the least:-)-MTOW:60,500 kgr upgraded to 64,800 kgr (142.9 klbs)one year into operations (since with the basic MTOW we usually had to leave out baggage and/or passengers on summer days!!!)-the upgrade enabled the proper utilisation of the a/c for full pax load, in hot days, for a stage length of just …

Hi,The nighttime bitmaps are fair to poor. I have a lot of banding plus, the digital readout masks on the MCP are mis-aligned. Is this the result of GDI.dll's since I'm using Win2000 or a driver issue? This plane has a ways to go before I'll call it PIC quality, but it is a good start.BobP :)

I was wondering if the a/c features landing lights visible from the 2d cockpit. I was using the Southwest livery and outside in spot view they all worked fine, but in VC and 2d panel nothing. Is this just an issue with the southwest livery or does the plane not have them, if this is the case I really hope you guys add them because it really is frustrating to try and land or taxi in the [email protected]

Hi guysAnyone else noticed the pretty sluggish roll behaviour of the A/P? Done some flying now and it seems to me that the A/C is way too fast in the roll axis. After slamming to one direction it oscillates until it settles down. I got the bank angle warning as well. Seems the controller for roll axis needs some fine tuning! :-)

Any chance you could make the PMDG Menu available only when in a PMDG aircraft? It seems like unnecessary clutter. I know that 767PIC turns it off (if desired) when not in the aircraft.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
