I entered the INT REF, POS INT, LEGS, ROUTE, and PERF TAKEOFF. Oddly, when I hit each V1/VR/V2 LSK on the FMC for it to calculate the performance numbers, something strange happened and my V1 was calculated as 55279 kts.Also, I assume as a result, the PFD displays Alpha Max or max speed tape. there is a temporary fix to the fuel problem. go to the panel.cfg file and disable the fuel gauge(put // in front of the word gauge) on the overhead portion of the panel.cfg, this is just a fix to stop the imbalance until a fix is created but at least you'll be able to load and burn fuel normally. to switch tanks just select the following on the fs menu baraircraft fuel fuel selector - select the desired tankhere is a sample of the edit//gauge03=PMDG_737NG_OHD_FUEL!PMDG_737NG_OHD_FUEL, 103,575,244,298works for memike nelson

I think your product is definitely a great piece of work, and from the shots the model looks incredible. However, as some of you might know, I'm all for the -800, I don't care about all the other variants. I would be willing to buy the other variants, but I think $40 for a plane (just because you change a few things here and there doesn't mean it's a new model) with panel and sounds is a rip-off, especially since I don't want the other 3 variants.Now, my question is, will there be a chance to buy the -800/-900 with panel and sounds? Sorry to say, I'm a newbie to FS2002 - I've been a loyal Fly! simmer for years, flying PMDG's excellent Fly! 777 and 757 planes.Well, now that the PMDG 737 for FS2002 is out, I've gotta get used to FS2002! I've slowly been learning all the ins and outs of this sim.One question: Whenever I create a new flight with the PMDG 737, the plane autostarts the engines. Obvisouly, I don't want this - I would like to walk into a cold, dark plane!I cannot find a setting for this _anywhere_ in FS2002...Could one of you FS2002 experts please help me out?Thanks!- Bill Ruppel

Anthony / PMDG,The attached screenshot of part of the FMC shows spurious characters. The flight was from EGCC (Manchester) up to EGPF (Glasgow). These characters are actually in the flight plan part of which is copied below. A STAR was not chosen - waypoints were added manually. I cannot get the APP speed entered in the landing page in fact the landing speed that are there when I turn to the page are F15 535KNTF25 525 F40 505 and no matter what I do to change them they wont change.Ill send you a screen when I get a few minutes.ThanksRandall Smithbiggest nag in the world

I've flown 5 flights so far with the Continental 737-724 and I've noticed a problem that hasn't been mentioned before. I don't know if this is directlly related to the aircraft at all but after every flight, as I close out FS2k2, I get an error message and have to close out manually. When I shut down the computer (Win98Se) I get the message "Windows is Shutting Down" and the PC freezes there. I have to hold the start button in to turn ff the PC. And, because of that, it goes through the Scan Disk routine when I restart the PC. That has happened on all 5 flights but hasn't happened on any other aircraft. Could it be a memory management problem of Win98? Any others g…

First off great job on the 737 NG.I don't care to go down the bug report road until the manual is released but I do have a comment/request.We need the ability to turn on the panel backlighting without the flood lights. The flood lighting is just too bright for my personal tastes, it would be really nice to just see the soothing amber glow ;-)Patiently awaiting my manuals, my Continental bird and my registration code,Edward Doloughty

The great ending to my flight KBFI-KLAX ILS runway 24R. hi,How far away from capturing the LOC and GS should I start slowing down to landing speed? This must be how the real plane handles when you try to slow it down. :-) It takes a lot of effort to get this airplane slowed down to 120 Knots. The speedbrakes seem about as effective as sticking your hand out the window of a car trying to slow it down :-lol. My question is how far from the airport should I start slowing down from 250 knots down too 120 knots or so? Right now I'm just guessing, sometimes I get slowed down to landing speed way too early, sometimes I get it just right.Andrew

I apologise if any of the following have already been mentioned:1. In the cruise, shouldn't the "Flight Path Vector" symbol be level with the Horizon on the PFD (indicating level flight)?2. When the aircraft is climbing in Vnav and passes through10,000 ft, the automatics bring the nose down slightly todecrease the climb rate and allow the aircraft to accelerateto its new climb speed.What is the rate of acceleration that the automatics are attempting to achieve - shouldn't it be roughly 1 knot per second and not the 5 - 6 knots per second at present.I think the autoflight system is being a little to aggressivein it attempt to achieve the new climb speed (at the expenseof …

I'm slowly getting to grips with all that this aircraft has to offer but some aspects of the FMC (or CDU as it's called) are causing me some concern.There is no option on the Menu page to save a flight plan. How do I do this please? Also, how can I load a flight plan? Please don't tell me there's no option to do either of these vital actions. The last thing I want to do is to have to enter a flight plan manually each time I want to fly.Thanks for any help.

Hi!This one is for the hardware fanatic's ;)PMDG: Is it possible to change the hardware, ie: secondary HD, graphic card, the audio one, cd/dvd drives ram... prior to unregister the product, and then use the pc without launching FS or better yet , without using your 737 ;) until the original hardware been reset? or the simple fact of altering the hardware even without using your product is enough to invalidate the product?If it's possible then great because it would speed up the thigs around here!Jos

However, I noticed on the new -700 Aloha livery, when you leased it, you forgot to paint over the wing marking's...The right wing has "XA-AEQ" still painted on the top and on the bottom of the left wing.Steve ParkKSDF

Let me explain:since I got the plane i've flown only short city hoops 250 nm max, not requiring more than fl 280/290, but today I've wanted something 1h+ so I've tried EHAMM(amsterdam) LOWW(Viena) At fl350 with real wheather; I know that this "otto" doesn't like wind's but they weren't that bad and so wasn't "otto", until about FL320 where it started climbing and descending like "there was not tomorow" passing 2G+ to -1G in one second, all the way to cruize altitude, and stayed that way with a perfect 15kt tail wind!!! 737 bugs1. If I start to use the FMC before requesting clearance I lose all ATC communications. Even restarting the flight does not get ATC back. I have to exit FS and restart.2. Clicking the 'R' radios button sometimes I lose all internal sound.3. Dunno if I'm doing something wrong but the plane seems to cruise at about +5degrees (3.0 on AoA gauge). Saving a situation with the overhead and other panels on my 2nd monitor is responsible for several odd phenomena, I have found out after intensive research :-)After creating a flight from scratch, choosing the PMDG737, the first thing I do is move the overhead, FMC, throttles and radio to my 2nd monitor. Since I don't want to have to do that all the time, I then save that situation. Now what happens is, if I start that situation again, the fire bell won't sound when I test the engine fire panel and I can't tune any radio beacons, it simply won't recognize any of them. I found that if I save a situation BEFORE I move any panels to the 2nd monitor, there is no problem.BTW, …
