Hi all,I'm noticing that when I try and enter data into the FMC - pretty much anywhere - All I get are squares and weird characters. Everything else about the plane is fine. AP works, all overhead components, etc. I just can't use the FMC...Any ideas? (see attachment)Thanks!Chris [email protected]

All,I had made an earlier posting for NVIDIA owners on drivers and how they may be able to improve performance by adjusting the versions (trying different ones). Probably back on page 7 by now!Shortly thereafter, another posting appeared on Virtual Memory settings. This is the order I programmed it - in case it's wrong and my fault.Enter Dep. ICAO, and Dest. ICAO, go to DEP/ARR page, select runway and SID. Then to RTE page, select NEXT PAGE to get the route itself, and here's the thing, after the final fix in the SID, there is a ROUTE DISCONTINUITY. Is this right?AlexEDIT: Incidentally, I can get to what I considered correct by pressing DELETE and then the R LSK beside the five boxes above the discontinuity.

I have tried clicking the "IN - HPA" switch but I can't get my pressure in milibars. Is this really not implemented? I assume I must be doing something wrong.Here's a list of my "observations":Firstly I also experience the fictional "Insufficient Fuel" message, and have generally noticed the FMC annunciator lighting up when the fmc has no error message on of it's own, i.e. false alarms - is this my mis-operation? The error is in a box "PMDGOption", then once I move on to attempt to load the plane I bet "Your PMDG license is invalid or expired".I did get a key this morning from PMDG Registration(thanks). I see that I have to have the PMDG plane loaded in FS to register, however on loading the PMDG 73NG (after the above error mesages) I get the "Invalid Machine Code" error when attempting to access the registration pulldown. I can't get to the screen that accepts the registration key. Should I un-inst…

PMDG congratulations for a great plane!Having ridden in the cockpit of the real 737-700NG (not as a pilot!!!) for more than 30 times, the resemblance and adherence to procedures and ops is excellent despite some really minor issues which I am confident they will be addressed soon. Being just a PC simmer (no real life flying experience etc.) and with a mere knowledge of other commercial FS aircraft packages (767PIC, DF737, PSS) it was really "piece of cake" setting the whole thing in operation, programming the FMC etc. and settting to flight with no hassle at all. Therefore, I find some complaints and "hard-line" verdicts quite unjustified.Two short FMC-related questions:1…

OK for any of you that have found out how to work the VC I am asking you to PLEASE jot down here a list of buttons to puch in order, how to enter waypoints, set up the autopilot. Everything to be able to make a flight from one point to another. Using standard navagational points (VOR's etc). I will very much appreciate it and I think alot of others will to. If this has already been explained in another part of the forum I apoligize because I did not see it.

Hello PDMG Team.Thanks for an oustanding product and the same goes for the very will organized and quick support.There are two things I would be happy if they could answered:1. When do you plan to release the paint kit? Is it easy to use layer style?2. Who painted the Air Berlin livery? With the greatest respect to his/her work, I have to inform you, that the dark red Air Berlin color choosen for the 737-700 livery is much to brite.In detail it is: to much magenta, to bright, to red.In reality this color looks different, its darker. HiI've followed the instructions regarding the operation of the airstairs, but the assignment corresponds to the one of the flaps,of course reassigning didn't help, it simply changed the assignment (dahh), so could someone give me an exemple of a key assignment and correspondig action that work's with you? Hello Guys & Girls,You know when you select a name for your airline to be called for Air Traffic Control, for example British Airways = Speedbird.I am using PDMG's Boeing 737 series 700 in Easy Jets livery, however when I enter their name under callsign Easy, FS does not know it, so I just get called by the number and not the name.Is there any way off adding the call sign? Hi guy's!!Can anyone explain this one to me? Twice now enroute at FL300 the stall light suddenly come's on without warning and the airplane roll's into a spin to the left. All this happens in less than 2 second's. The flight controls don't respond to recovery input even after I disengage the AP. I have the AP engaged LNAV set to my next waypoint FD and AT are on with the speed set and VNAV is off each time this stall/spin occurs. What am I doing wrong here?Angel

To all those still awaiting Registration codes that sent emails to [email protected]. Unfortunately my Cable/Internet provider has been kind enough to crash my internet access from home. I have been lucky to be able to stay connected for much longer than about 15 minutes without losing service for up to an hour at a time so the registration email is falling behind. They have given me no ETR for when it might be fixed. I hope to back online tonight and start pounding through them. Thanks PDMG for making this excellent add-on.I have a problem to enter te highway's. After selecting the Sid and Rw and then heading to the second page in RTE I see : Left side the SID Right side the end of the SIDI have no input box to fill in my highway on the left side only a direct to on the right sideThere is also "route discontinuity" in my screen.I tried several routes... but no highway entriesWho knows this problem ?John Boontjes

Good Morning,I am programming a flight from EGKK to LGRP (Rhodes). However when I enter EGKK onto the RTE screen on the FMC I getEGKK err: DVR33 unknownThen when I enter LGRP I getLGRP err: D282M unknownI thought it was just a bug so I continued to enter the 'legs' of the flight, which where accepted with out a problem. When I went to enter the departure runway however, the FMC said that EGKK has no runways and the same with LGRP, no runways at all.I have not changed anything, apart from added the SID/STARS last night, could this had caused the problem?It

HiI use WideView (http://www.wideview.it/) which requires FS installations on seperate PC's (together with any add-ons).Will the current licensing scheme allow me to run the 737-software on my networked PC's or will I have to buy a seperate license for each PC?--J
