    Hi guys,Yesterday I downloaded the AIRAC 0304 update and the SID/STAR database. Everything works just fine in some cases, but not in some others. I saved a flight to have a cold and dark cockpit situation, but if I start that one and after getting the cockpit ready I try to tune any radio beacon, they will not show on the ND. Oddly enough the ND will show the symbol for the beacon at the right place, but it won't show that it is tuned to the right beacon by showing its identifier and its distance. Not on the ground and not in the air.I've tried this with some other saved situations and the same happens every time. If I start from scratch by creating a flight and choosing …

    Hi guys!Like many people here, I am experiencing terrible stuttering while trying to fly the 737. This is in ALL cases - even with the just 2D models. It's not so much a low framerate, but a continuous fluctuation +/- 40 fps with unlimited FRs set. Even when stationary on startup (which seems to take ages to load), the FRs fluctuate wildly causing unflyable stuttering.     PMDG,Apologies because this has been mentioned before but it's been buried in a big thread and may not have been noticed.I fly using Radar Contact and that program decides when you start your descent. The 767PIC has a Des Now button which will start a descent before ToD is reached. Subsequent waypoints will have their altitudes adjusted accordingly based on my current rate of descent.The PMDG FMC shows this button but it's greyed out. Why? If it's there then it's required. When I'm told by Radar Contact to start my descent I'm forced to perform this manually with a manual rate of descent. And just to rub salt into the wound the altitudes on waypoints fail to change so I h…

Now onto 2 minor anomalies.....Using the Aloha Airlines 700 livery I created the following flight using the MSFS Flightplanner - PHNL -> LNY -> UPP -> MUE -> PHTO.Upon entering 'LNY' in the FMC the followng message displayed 'err at -004, line 23' (see FMC, attachment 1).     I was hoping someone has had a similiar problem or can point out what I am doing wrong. I have been unable to get VNAV to work and keep getting the message "VNAV DISCONNECT" on the FMC. I set up everything as far as I know correct in the FMC including Performance Initialization and N1 Limits and get my V speeds correctly. I have ensured that all autopilot setting are correct including V2 entered and crusing altitude and prior to spooling up the engines on takeoff I engage the F/D switch and arm the autothrottle. Once the engines are stabilized at 70% I engage N1 and rollout. I hand fly the a/c to approxmately 400-600 feet and then engage LNAV and VNAV. LNAV engages…

    Hello,I have purchased the 737NG today and made three two test flights so far. Since I have only experience with the PSS A320 so far, I would say I have some knowledge of programming FMCs, but the FMC from the 737 brings me to my limits :-).Here are my two questions:1.)This should be pretty easy to solve but I couldn't figure out how. How do you enter via/to tags into the route page of the FMC?2.)From the MCDU of the Airbus I am used that a STAR brings you right to the entry of the glide slope of the selected runway.     Hi guys!I was just wondering, how correct are the weight limits in the load manager?According to my manuals, the max takeoff weight for the 737-700 is 154,400 lbs while according to the load manager it is only 133,000 lbs.Can you guys check this?Unfortunately, I do not have any info regarding the -600.Regards,Mark

    Hi all,I just wanted to know if this happens to others. I usually run FS2002 in full screen mode. When flying the PMDG737 if I switch from full screen to windowed mode, maybe to check ServInfo etc. the plane for like a couple of seconds goes crazy, same when switching back from windowed to full screen. With the PIC767 I used to get the throttles to go to idle and back up when doing these operations.Just wanted to know if anybody else has experienced this.Thanks for any feed-back.Ciao!Bjorn

    First, filled out the POS INIT page with KBOS. The displayed longitude for KBOS was wildly incorrect (east of 0). I line selected the last position and used that for the IRS position. I have yet to be able to enter a position by hand.Then, I entered the route to KJFK: LUCOS SEY PARCH CCC ROBER, and activated it. Looking at the plan page, it clearly had a bogus idea of where KJFK was; it was significantly east of CCC. When I entered a runway (22L), it magically put KJFK in the right place.     Hi,We all know what is great about this aircraft, this post details a few problems I've found.The virtual cockpit has issues. I don't like how long it takes to draw detail. We are only talking perhaps a second or so, but it is certainly noticeable and detracts from looking at a different views. I was quite dissapointed with the overall look and feel of the virtual cockpit. Eaglesoft's Beechjet really has everything a virtual cockpit should have, so I guess I am a little bit spoilt.The lights have issues too.     Hi, I am trying to fly 737 NG but it is really impossible. Every minute or minutes the aircraft is bouncing hundred times over itself with the message bank angle. I was taking off from viena, everything perfect. At 2000 feet the first bank angle, and the aircraft was going down to 600 feet but I could climb the bird to the cruise altitude 22000 feet.     Hi,Besides the already commented VNAV killer dive that nearly killed me, I see no way to set the nav aid autotuning en route.I have to tune the radios on the radio panel during flight or there is some way to make the FMS to tune them (as in real life)?One more: I downloaded the PIC767 Navdata.
