There's so many people complaining in this forum; I felt it was time to say: Well done PMDG!Of course it took a while before I could download, but that worked out. Of course it took some time before I got the registration code. So what? I was sure it would arrive before the 10 days were up. No worries! Framerates? Yeah, with the 3-d panels it was a little disappointing. Then again, I have to be realistic. I only have a 1300 celeron, with 384mb and a Geforce2 GTS with 64MB. With every slider roughly at 50% (AI traffic a little over that) and framerates locked at 16 (you can't tell the difference between 16 and 20, trust me) I get framerates between 15-16 which is OK. Even …

Hi therer!First of all I would like to thank you all for a really nice bird :)So my question: When I reach my cruising altitude the speed of the aircraft have problems with stabilizing and the speed continue going up and down...This happens both when I have VNAV or SPD selected on the AP...It`s very irritating for my ears who have to listen to the up and down sound from the engines ;)So if you can tell me what I perhaps does wrong then please shout out :)PS. Sorry for my bad English language...

Hi guys, just one quick question...I have tried to enter different values in the INIT page on the FMC for the Cost Index but the calculated CRZ speed/mach is always mach 0.755.Just wanted a confirmation that Cost Index is not implemented and eventually if you'll include it in the future. Thanks in advance!Regards,Bjorn

I cant find the old post, so I am opening a new...I tried now to control the speed on the PMDG737 manually, but it still wont work... When I give max throttle the speed automaticly decreases when it reaches about 280 IAS (455 TAS) at FL350.Cant I control the throttles manual when I am on cruise?

I'm rather new to the FMC.. I'm used to flying the plane manually, even the PMDG 737s..Is there a tutorial where I can fully learn the functions of the FMC and how to program the essentials, or will this be covered in the soon-to-be-released manual?

Good Evening All,I am a senior flight attendant for Britannia Airways, so cabins are very important to me!Does anyone know if the Boeing 737 series 600 cabin is the same length as the 700 series (when you use the virtual cabin). I know in real life the 737 series 700 is around 8ft longer. When I use the virtual cabin both of the aircraft seem the same length (rows etc), but in real life the Boeing 737 series 700 would have at least a few extra rows over the Boeing 737 series 600.Thanks for your help guysKimberly

Hi all,I've just bought and tried the 737NG and I have to say it's quite an impressive product. The AP works in a stunningly precise way (radial and loc intercepting, Flight level change mode etc.) and the display are just great (refresh rate etc).I think in a month ot two everyone will be flying this bird, like it happened with the glorious (and still efficient PIC) :-)Now a small request. Is it planned a repaint of the 737 in Azzurra livery? Azzurra is an italian airline operating, if I'm right, 4 737-73S for charter and scheduled operation all throughout Europe. Here some shots:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/367089/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/362329/M/http:…

This is an objective analysis of PMDG and 737NGNO I AM NOT A PMDG MEMBER OR FANATIC!!!Buy it!! I had $50 in my checking account till my next pay check in 1.5 weeks, $39.95 went to PMDG today. When FS2004 comes out 737NG and the volumetric clouds will be my life!! :)Overall rating on a scale 0-10, 9.5 Panels, external model, and Electronic Flight displays LOOK INCREADIBLE. Much better and sharper than PIC 767, and wilco 737. The 2D panel is incredibly sharp and crisp with the best 3D feel to swiches I have yet to see. I am a panel guru!! :)Getting it:1) I purchased the PMDG 737NG with absolutely NO problems this morning, the hardest part was typing in my address on the form…

Goodmorning,I have wriyen some SID STAR for my home airport, until yesterday they were working fine, but suddenly after I entered the registration code the FMC couldn't read any of the SIDSTAR not even the defaults, LSZH,LSGG. I removed them from the directory even constructed onw eith only one gate kust for testing but with no success.I don't know if the registration had to do anything with this or it was just a bad computer day. Any one else who has registered the product has seen something like that? thxChris

Hi PDMG!Thanks for this great aircraft, I had a flight LOWW-EDDM yesterday and the autoland was one of the smoothest I've ever seen in FS (only to be compared to your great 777 for Fly2, which I also own :-) ).I haven't sent the registration code yet because I'm going to get my new system installed today (MB, RAM & CPU), after that I'm going to reinstall Windows.I thought that I could send the code when I've finished this job, starting a new 10-days period before I have to enter the key.I just wanted to make sure that I'll work this way before I format my c-drive :-)Another question:my rudder doesn't move - regardless if the yaw dampers are on or not - any comment on …

Hi All,After a couple of flights to acclimate myself to my new aircraft, I just had my first "real" flight. Wow! This plane has got all the right stuff. Now I know that if I'm ever stranded on a desert island with a laptap, a bunch of solar cells and only one 3rd party aircraft, I'll take the 737 :) This aircraft is real smooth (in framerate and operation). I had very little trouble getting started because everything is very much like the Dreamfleet 737 (I'm sure Boeing intended that way to reduce retraining) Also it's nice to have a flight model like the days of Fly2 and the PMDG 757. Set up everything right and this bird just smoothly glides right on to touchdown…

PMDG -Would it be possible to get an early copy of the SID/STAR/GATES grammar? In your FLY! product-line of aircraft the grammar was posted in the manual. Since the 737NG manual is still being worked I'd like to have the grammar to incorporate the changes into the editor I was developing. If so - please email to me at [email protected]

Captains-Some may have missed the text contained in the readme file that explained the arrival date for the flight manuals.APPROXIMATELY 07JUL....Marc and I are currently finishing some additional information that we feel you will need to fly the airplane effectively.Once they are completed we will release them to you!Hopefully this will take place immediately after the weekend!

Hi PMDG,I've just found one more problem with VNAV. I flew a 3 leg flight today, MDW - EWR - ATL. On my SECOND flight from EWR to ATL, VNAV did not observe the 250 below 10,000 speed limit for some reason, and wanted to go straight to 315 after takeoff.Luckily I got it into LVL CHG and the speed dialed back before ZNY gave me a verbal speeding ticket. :) I guess it's not too big of a problem to just not use VNAV after leg 1 of a multi-leg flight, or maybe even just reloading the plane would fix it, but I hope someone can take a look at this when there is time.-Shaun

Just thought I'd let you guys know that the flap gauge is off in the VC by about one or two notches. You don't get the same reading as you do in the 2D panel which gets confusing when switching between views.

PMDG:Ok - here's my question:I have submitted by registration (2000 local EDT 7/2/03) but have yet to receive my activation. (Also, in less than 4 hrs after installing the 737NG the "time remaining" dropped down to 9 days - I would have expected almost 24 hrs passing before that would happen.)Today I flew the 737-700 while using a single monitor. I would like to try it out with multiple monitors and with the PFD and ND undocked. To do so I need to swap video cards - and - I may want to swap back after I check it out.So - will I need to go through the deactivation/reactivation process for a simple video card switch?Thanks.-michael

I had originally sent this question with my registration request, but that part of my email wasn't answered. I assume there are more folks like myself that may be interested in this topic, so I'll throw it out for discussion. First, I'll say that we all pay the price for software piracy, so I understand the reasons behind your registration and activation procedures. However, it restricts some of us honest folks that have multiple machines either in home cockit setups or desktop / laptop combinations. For example, I sim on my desktop at home, and when I frequently travel for work, I sim on my laptop. Your registration process only allows me to enjoy the PMDG 737 NG on…
