I still ahve that black hole on my main panel where the yaw damper gauge should be. Is this a download issue or will you add the gauge later?

Hi Guys,Well today I thought I had made a big mistake! I got my brand new Radeon 9800 Pro to replace my old Radeon 8500. After I installed it, I suddenly thought about the PMDG 737....Oh no! I thought I was going to have to put the old card back in and generate the transfer code etc....but no!....all worked as it did before without any new code...How is this possible?? (not that I mind though)Any comments?Thanks,Glenn Harrall

Hi evebody:When entering CYUL as a departure in the FMC POS. the coordinates are wrong it reads as follow N45 28,29 E003 .0.0. The right coordinates should read N45 28.29 W73 44.88. Could that be changed.ThanksAndre CYUL:-)

Will the OPT/MAX ALT calculation on CRZ page of the FMC implemented with the upcoming patch or will w have to pay for it later on?I would like to get a simple yes/no response to this question which I am not posting for the first time... (but I know that you are very busy with the patch and this is more important than forum activity IMO.

I'm used to clearing the scratchpad by pushing the blank key on 767PIC's FMC. Is that functionality supposed to work on the NG FMC too? I have no idea.So far, I haven't found anything better than deleting entries one character at a time, which can be tedious.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

To PMDG (Anthony),Because of the VNav and LNav deficiencies in the PMDG737 I've taken to hand flying the aircraft away from the departing airport. However, this creates a whole new problem. It seems that as you fly over waypoints they are not removed from the flight plan. This only happens if the a/p is engaged. Consequently when I do engage LNav and the a/p the aircraft immediately tries to turn back to the first waypoint. Ouch!I hate to keep making comparisons between this and the 767PIC but I can hand fly a SID with that aircraft and the waypoints are removed as I pass over them. Shouldn't this also happen with the PMDG737?Thanks,

The ground proximity warning system seems to be ridiculously loud and will blast in and wake the neighbours. Does anyone have a way to reduce the decibels without reducing other essential sounds?

Hi!Yesterday I've lost one aircraft of my 737NG-fleet during an approach to LHBP :-( During the approach, I saw that the localizer - signal was not lined up with the runway, so I chose to do a manual landing.I tried to correct the heading, but the aircraft seemed to slip away.Yaw dampers where on - could that be the problem?I have the CH pedals, so I don't work with auto-rudder of course :-lol What are your opinions about steering the 737 manually?To me it seems that rudder inputs are being ignored :-hmmm ...regards,Joerg

Hi all,After you complete a flight, how do you clear the FMC? I've tried everything that I can think of. I can delete all the data, but can't enter in a new route in the route page because I can't get it cleared. Even after shutdown. After completing a flight, and going for another, I can't get the route page and FMC to clear itself.Does anyone know how or have any advice, I appreciate it!Thank you,Brian G

When I am climbing with LNAV and VNAV active, I have a vertical speed around 5000 feet per minut. Is it possible to adjust the climb, so I can climb slower? I don't think the passengers likes this vertical speed all the way up to cruise level.

Okay, so I downloaded FSBuild 1.43 and created about 250 PMDG-compatible flight plans for the US. I copied them to my /PMDG/Flightplans directory. Could some kind soul explain how to load them into the FMC?? I tried using the "CO ROUTE" LSK key thinking that the list might appear. Then I tried entering the departure and destination airports and trying the CO ROUTE key thinking that it might load the corresponding plan. No go....Anybody??Thanks,Flightsim Phil

hi,I know the pmdg team is busy with the patch and all but since the ALaska airlines livery was released a couple weeks before the pmdg 737 was realesed. I was wondering if the Aloha Ailines livery was also released early then taken down. If there ever was an Aloha airlines livery released then taken down off the site...... can someone send it to me? Hi guysI'm getting totally confused regarding the installation of the latest AIRAC Cycle data. I've successfully acquired the latest file (767PIC compliant) but can find no information as to where to install the files contained within the self-extracting .exe. I made an "educated" guess based upon the directory structure used by PSS's A3xx. However, every time i enter an icao airport code for either departure or destination airport, i get a "NOT IN DATABASE" error message.I now read threads concering installing netbios for sids and stars. Can somebody please clarify the whole situation - it sounds like i'm not the only one totally confused !!!Thanks in advanceGary

Hi, a few little niggles:1. I just wondered whether you could make the undocked MFDs viewable in the VC? I do alot of flying in the VC, but the MFDs are just a little to small and unsharp in the VC to be able to read quickly. It'd be nice to have the good perspective effect on final that the VC gives but also be able to read the screens! 2. I find the GPWS and warning sounds way too loud. I have quietened the .WAVs myself but maybe others don't know how to do that.3. The MFD surrounds look too chunky. The screens are further inset into the panel than your bitmaps show.Also, maybe you've said this before somewhere else, but will you be modelling the ECAM (or whatever Boein…

hi, I was wondering (when fs2004 is released next Tuesday) how users are gonna transfer their pmdg 737 from fs2002 to fs2004 without invalidating their licences and having to ask for a new one? It would be a heck of a job to have to get hundreds if not thousands of users new licence keys without having some users have to wait in a queue for 10 days or more (or maybe less). ;-)AndrewPS. I know thats a little ways off still but Im curious.

Well, after uninstalling the SSW A310 I'm not sure what happened but now when I load the PMDG 737 I get the "3rd party cannot load 737_Main Gauge..." error again.*sigh*Can somebody help me please.Thanks to any who help me out.

I have been unable to get FSNavigator to work in the "Fly Flightplan" mode with the 737NG....Comments anyone?

Me again :-) Coming in to land at Gatwick, I had set the minimums reference selector to BARO and 390 feet which is 200 feet AGL. So I expected the minimums call out to come at 390 feet on the altimeter, instead it came at 390 feet on the radio altimeter. Also, it seems as if the amber/green indicator on the altitude tape is not moving in sync with the altitude tape itself (as is the yellow marker for the ground). Passing through 600 feet the amber line was still above the 400 feet marker and now I'm on the ground the green line has fallen to around 350 feet. And the line was amber when I was above the minimum height and green when I was below. That doesn't seem right. And…

After identification of the ILS, the PFD shows the front course of the LOC. However, on an apprach to EHAM's runway 36R I noticed that on the PFD it says 006 and on the FMC approach page it says 004.My assumption is that this is caused by the fact that the PFD apparently gets its information from the FS standard database and some years ago the LOC course was still 006, and the FMC gets its information from the AIRAC 0304 cycle I downloaded and due to the annual change in variation the LOC course is now indeed 004. Am I right here?And if so, could this have any influence on aircraft behaviour? It did seem as if the aircraft was slightly left of the line drawn on the ND alt…

I think I have jumped through every hoop...but I am still unable to get any data or flightplan loaded in the FMS/CDU. Here are the steps I have taken:I downloaded and installed 767PIC_all_0304.exe in the C:Microsoft GamesFS2002FMCWPAIRAC folder.After executing the file, I ended up with a NavData folder located in C:Microsoft GamesFS2002FMCWPAIRACNavData and inside the NavData folder are the various wpNavAID, wpNavAPT etc. text folders as well as the airports.dat file.The above was done in the above manner based on a posting in the forum, from which I quote:"Install it to the {FS DIR}FMCWPnavdatathe NG should pick it up and you'll be all set" Unfortunately, I don't think N…
