I recently installed a number of PMDG airliners for FSX (Acceleration) (737NGX, 747, MD-11). When I start FSX I am getting the following error: Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program... PMDGOptions Dynamic Link Library, Version 10.0.61355.62 ... Do you want to run this software? This is not the 'cannot find the DLL' problem that has been reported variously over the years... my dll.xml is pointing to the right place. What should I do? Thanks

Hi, I am only using FSX:MS (so no steam edition). I was wondering thzt in the long run it might be better to install the new OC (that both platforms support) as I already see that SP1D has some clean up in it. Will FSX:MS only OC be continued to be supported ? (also in the long run?) Very confused about all this... Please advise PMDG ? Thanks. Dieter de Wit

Peers, For no reason I can readily identify, my 777 and 737 NGX is randomly losing anywhere from 2-4 pounds of fuel at various and random stages of flight. Today it happen while taking the runway, yesterday it was while reaching cruise and while level at 37,000 feet. Sometimes it only happens once, sometimes several times. I will be flying along, not touching anything, and then my fuel will suddenly drop. Most of the time I notice it when all of a sudden the INSUFFICIENT FUEL suddenly flashes up on the MCP. I've used FSUIPC log to try and find some kind of errant command but nothing is standing out. Im almost always flying for a VA, but I've tried two separate…

Any update on the progress of the DC-6?

Before FSX completely dies away, I am considering purchasing FSX Acceleration (assuming that it is still available, which I see new packages are in Amazon). Other than missions and the F18 off of a carrier, which I do not intend to use, is there any advantage to purchasing the Acceleration expansion pack over running FSX SP2? Hej, after i updatet the OPC today, i lost the Settings String (Aircraft Specific Settings, Livery Manager etc.) in the NGX drop down menu. 777 al is fine, i dont updated the 777 to Sp1d or installed the SE Version because i use only FSX.

I have two questions related to performance in FSX. Firstly, is it possible to disable the shadows effect in the cockpit that can be seen when turning the aircraft? I know you can turn off external shadows on the aircraft itself, which I have done. Secondly, if it is possible to disable this cockpit shadows effect, will it result in an increase in frame rates?

Hey all, I've tried searching for the answer and couldn't find it so with that in mind... I don't own the current version of the PMDG 747 but I have been thinking about buying it for a while. Is the so called PMDG 747 V2 going to be a free update or will it be charged for? The reason I ask is that should I just wait until the V2 is released instead of buying the old 747 now? Well that it, I'm shocked!!! I installed the 777 in FSX-SE this morning. Until last night I was unaware of its availability, and tried to read all of the forum messages related to it. Apparently some users had problems, but I believed my configuration, with only FSX-SE installed on my sim PC, wouldn't pose big problems. Well, the installer ran beautifully, Before loading FSX-SE I started Steve's DX10 Fixer to enable the required updates of installed textures, then found on the PMDG Folder the "Operations Centre Updater" which I executed and went through a series of updates getting all of my installed modules - presently only the 777 200 LR - up to date. …

Im thinking about purchasing the stem version, since so many folks seem to making such a big deal about it. Can anyone confirm ANY differences you have noticed in terms of performance, or functionality. I'm thinking it might be easier to stick with the MS version if there are no significant differences. I have a question for the real world 737/777 pilots out there. I know airline SOP's differ, but im just looking for a ballpark average here. For the B738 I plan my flights to land with around 10,000lbs of fuel left on a normal flight with good weather, and about 20-25,000 lbs for the B77L. These seem to be in line with what simbrief.com gives me also. Are these numbers realistic?

This is for anyone on the beta team for the 777 in P3D. Will you guys be showing any screen shots or giving any performance information of how the 777 is working in P3D. I know in earlier product releases as the air planes goes into beta, the beta team is allowed to give reviews, screen shots etc. I seen RSR comment that it will hopefully be in final testing this week. Does anyone else have a problem logging into the PMDG site in order to download the 777 for FSX SE?

Chaps I've just reinstalled windows and FSX and putting everything back on after a nightmare few hours. Nothing is ever, ever simple with this hobby and nothing works exactly as you want it to. I've installed the 777 and the latest service packs in the recommended manner and I can't open operations center. Problem Event Name: Bex, Module Name StackHash_0a9e. I can see that this fault was prevalent but was supposed to be suppressed by one of the Service Packs, but unfortunately I can't get mine to work. Hello All Google has not been my friend and the pdfs have done little but induce confusion, so I'm hoping you might be able to help. I've recently bought FSX:SE and the pmdg 777. This is my first time using FSX and having excitedly installed the new 777 update today I've come to a bit of a road block. I have a keyboard and mouse setup along with an X52pro. When I pan around the cockpit, or switch views the only switch, function that I am able to click on is the control coloumn (namely to lower and raise it). With everything else when I mouse over the switch, for example the battery, the mouse pointer remains as an arrow and I am unable to select the switch. Pl…

I just updated the Operations Center, and it appears to not have the 737ng liveries anymore? Is this temporary, or do I need to download 737ng liveries like we did before the operations center? Thanks, Evan Hardin

Hi Guys, First of all, I should mention that I have not yet installed FSX-SE, and am only (re)installing the PMDG777 in FSX-MS (original version). I know that in my situation, it was not necessary to update, but you know... I have downloaded the new SP1d full installers for the 777-200LRF Base package and the 777-300LR Expansion. I have also uninstalled the older versions of the 777. The 777-200LRF base package installs without a problem, but the 777-300ER package will not. The installer allows me to select the version I am installing to, in this case "FSX Version - Original Microsoft Distribution" but when I select install I get a message that says "P…

Hi chaps, Sorry if it's a bit taboo to ask 744 V2 questions on the forum - if it is, just delete as I don't want to annoy anyone. I just wanted to know whether we'll have options to swap between CRT or LCD screens like the old 744, and also the choice of integrated standby instrument or the old mark I analogue ones.

I'm trying to assign the V and L keyboard buttons to toggle VNAV and LNAV modes in the 737 and 777. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have FSUPIC but I can't seem to find a way using that. Also, is the a list of keyboard commands available anywhere? Thanks
