PMDG General Forum

Hi! Every time I try to download the 737NGX base package, it starts downloading and then stops in the middle of the download. The download starts around 4 Mb/s and then randomly throttles back to 0 and never restarts. Any ideas as to what is going on? Also, whenever it does finish it says that there was an error with the .zip file. Thanks!

Dear PMDG: First of all i am amazed with the quality and service of your products, especially the PMDG 747 queen of the skies. PMDG made FSX really fly, and took it to a whole new level of neatness and realism. And because i trust that your products are 100% well made before they are available for purchase, i am requesting that you would make an FSX PMDG Boeing 787 DreamLiner. Howdy all, I'm looking for a new addon. Decided on PMDG for sure - not sure which one. I have the iFly NG as well as the NGX.. And average 15 frames in each. This is acceptable for me given my rig 2013 MacBook Pro 2.9 GhZ i7 Haswell (usually runs around 3.3 with Turbo) 8GB RAM Intel HD 4000 GPU (not great, I know. But this is a work issued machine and I simply cannot afford $1500+ to build a new rig) 1TB SSD My only reservation with the T7 is graphics. From what I've gathered it will probably work similar to the iFly. Any opinions? I need something that will be a long-hauler (occasionally set-and-forget). What say you all?

hello guys 3 days ago I have bought fsx.se and installed and now my pmdg operation center dont detect my 777 on the Fsx boxed version is there fix for this. Pmdg operation center says that there no aircraft installed on fsx.se. some how the direction of the pmdg center has been changed to FSX.SE

Is there a way for me to buy the triple 777-300 expansion pack for a friend? He already has the 777-200 and I want to buy the 777-300 for him. Some help would be appreciated.

I want a simulator that looks like I have just been dropped into an HD video. I want to fly an AC that is all PMDG and Accu-Sim combined. I want to be able to do a walk around preflight and accurately check all aspects of my plane. I want all of the traffic in my sim to look and fly as well as my AC. I want an Air Traffic Control that will respond to what I do and the weather at hand (even if I have an emergency). Of course I want weather radar but more than that I want my aircraft to react to the weather correctly (turbulence, wake turbulence, icing, up & down drafts, real wind shear etc.) I want my aircraft to break in flight just because it does not because I asked…

Hi,Over the weekend I wrote a small program ‘FSX MyConfig’ to make life of us flight simmers a bit easier, at least I hope so.As discussed in a recent thread e.g. TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD resets (from 4096) to 1024 every time the FSX display configuration is changed. This applies also for CLOUD_COVERAGE_DENSITY and LOD_RADIUS. Maybe there are more, I don’t know.‘FSX MyConfig’ automatically restores your preferred parameter values as kept in the configuration file ‘fsx.cfg’. I tested it with Windows 7 and XP. The program needs not to be installed, just copy ‘FSXMyConfig.cfg’ to the ‘fsx.cfg’ folder and copy ‘FSXMyConfig.exe’ to an arbitrary folder. You can edit ‘FSXMyConfig.cfg’ …

Basically how is this going to work? Steam has a totally different way of installation, so will PMDG products be supported on this platform? I guess this question applies to all developers. Hey everyone, So i apologize if this has been covered before and I failed to find the correct thread. I checked the PMDG knowledge base and still couldn't find anything to remedy this. I did a fresh install of FSX recently, and now I cannot use my PMDG 777, or any other PMDG product I have. When I try, it asks me for an activation code, and then tells me that I am missing the file to use the aircraft and then shuts down my flight sim. Now I looked on the website and found that you guys don't have email support anymore, so how do I go about doing this? I appreciate any help you folks can offer here.

I would love to see PMDG release demos of their aircraft. Primarily they would be helpful for potential buyers to make sure that their system can handle the aircraft, but they would also be good if someone wants to see if THEY can handle such a complex aircraft. I'm sure that there is a reason why PMDG does not have demos, so what is it? Does it have something to do with piracy?

I purchased the 800-900 set and noticed that my fuel tanks displays are digital readout only instead of the circular graphical readouts that I see in the manuels and other YouTube video tutorials. I actually prefer the circle readouts, and so can I change that? I looked at all the FMC Equipment options and nothing seems to get rid of the digital readouts

Hello all, As I slowly make my way back into the world of FS after a long break, I'm finally getting around to learning how to fly my old 737TNG on FS9. Can someone tell me why it takes so long to get a re-download link from PMDG? I know it's only five dollars but if I'm paying for a service I really don't feel like waiting 6 to 8 hours for a response. I submitted for a re-download of the MD-11 at 10:00am Pacific time it is now 4:25pm Pacific time and my ticket status still says waiting for agent. Thanks, Bryan McKee

My current system is an Intel E8500 Processor and a GTX650Ti Boost video card. No overclocking yet but that is planned. FS9 user. I currently have the B747-400 and it seems to run pretty well on my system. FPS limits set @ 25 and with some add on scenery and mid level traffic, I still seem to hold 23-24. I am thinking about getting the MD-11 and was wondering if anyone has both and can offer any comments about the system performance (FPS) with it versus the 747. Any input would be appreciated. Hello guys, I am finding myself in a very bizarre spot, on the one hand I have never thought I would be so interest in X-plane, on the other hand I cannot leave my fsx and here is why: I mainly fly vatsim for practicing real world procedures, IFR procedures, PMDG suites my needs very good, it has those fully working precisely systems, very good sounds etc etc... Hi guys, I have an irritating "problem" I fly with the PMDG737NGX combined with FSCommander 9.4 on a second monitor. But when I move the mouse to the second monitor the sound of my PMDG737 stops. It has nothing to do with the FSX selectionbox "PAUSE ON EXIT" because thats off. On the site of 1Flightproducts I found a tool ± € 15,= called "Soundstream", to continue the sound. But thats only working with the iFly737. With all my other airplanes the sound doesn't stop when I move my mouse to my second monitor. Only the PMDG stops. Please help me because I love to fly with the PMDG737NGX Leo, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Hi I just recieved this wonderful overHEAD PANEL but the dc and ac voltmeter screen does not show the numbers,just the horizantal lines even though the overhead in the sim does show thevalues. All other knobs and switches seem to work. Please advise thx Lee

Hey All, A couple days ago I noticed an error message related to a .ddl file with PMDG on startup. The message I get says: Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third-party software program (add-on) Name: PMDGSounds Dynamic Link Library Version: 10,0,61355,40 Company: PMDG File: PMDG\DDLs\PMDGSounds.ddl Do you want to Run this Software (not recommended) If I click yes I Flight Sim shuts down with a fatal error.
