Have you got a timeframe on we are likely to see more pics of the exterior and some of the interior of the 747V2?

I understand the licensing between FSX and P3D follows different model but I am at the crossroad. I just got P3D V2.4 and its runs wonderfully on my machine but also have FSX : Steam edition. This news that product will not be cross compatible is forcing me to make a definitive choice between FSX and P3D. It's a choice I didn't want to make. I am sitting on the fence. I was looking forward to acquire my first PMDG product but I am not sure anymore. I will have to wait and see.

I am trying to contact support regarding my recent purchase of the 777-300LR expansion. I submitted a ticket through the website a couple weeks ago but have yet to receive a response from PMDG. I'm hoping someone could follow up on my ticket and reply to it. Thank you, Jason Barlow

Captains, As promised before Christmas, the top item on the agenda today was to see if we can't figure out what is preventing our products from running in the recently released FSX: Steam Edition, by Dovetail Games. I wanted to give you a quick status update, as I know a number of folks are itching to move into that platform. I screwed up and tried to open a .rte file using firefox browser. Now all of my .rte files will only open using Firefox. Does anyone know what program I need to reference so that the FMS can read the .rte file? What reads the .rte file? And where is it located? Now when I try and use a CO route, it will not recognize the .rte file. I didn't even bother to search for this as I figured it is likely that no one has accidently made this mistake. Thanks, Andrew

Hi there, I have flown tonight to Sydney and was surprised to discover GLS approaches in place. Last time I flew to YSSY they were not. As far as I understand after few researches on internet, to use that system, the aircrafts have to be equipped with a multi receiver? If it is right, is there a plan from PDMG to implement that system on their addons (or may be it is irrelevant to flight sim)? Thanks.

EDIT: It looks a Google Chrome issue because i can login with Internet Explorer. If your site opens only with IE it's ok. I just prefer Chrome.

Hi All, Recently i joined VATSIM and i wasn't satisfied with the amount of traffic and online ATC(comparing to IVAO),but tonight(at the moment that i'm typing this new topic),VATSIM is rocking!!! i actually didn't understand that what was the exact reason for this. Wanted to ask from you pros at PMDG and other,that is every sunday eve this crowded in VATSIM?! p.s. sorry for posting this topic here,but the last vatsim related topic was inactive and VATSIM part of the avsim comm was sleep.

Hi all I was hoping you could help me with something. Unless I'm confused about this, I thought that a "TOD" or "TD" entry was supposed to show up in the FMC page showing where your descent starts. I'm flying with the 777-200LR right now and it shows the speed/alt numbers next to each waypoint but no TOD. The "RESET MCP ALTITUDE" message does in fact popup. I'm just curious if I have an incorrect setting somewhere that is preventing the TOD showing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Andrew Coste

I am making a renewed effort to use my Saitek throttles with the NGX and 777X. My specific question is for those that use Saitek throttles with PMDG what "Delta" do you use in the 'Axis Assignments' page in FSUIPC? The default is 256. Both my throttle axis are setup as follows: Reverse: -16193 < 0 Idle: 0=< 2476 Max: 16192 I am going for smoothness (and without using 'sync pos' as much as possible) and I feel that 256, which equates to roughly 53 throttle detents, is a bit small. Hey champs, I am going to ask you guys how should I set the new nvidia inspector 1.9.7.3, since it doesn't have all the things like the old one 1.9.7.1 or older, more then that I recently Updated my nvidia card. really want to fly PMDG's plane nice and smooth since it is my main IFR training airplanes. Can someone explain what is going on with the inboard and outboard ailerons why they are raised like this through the entire approach? In other videos i notice that at least the outboard aileron is deflected upwards slightly, but i've never seen it to this extent where even the inboards join in and remain there for this extended period. Could it be that it's a feature that is similar to the 787 where it uses the inboard and outboard ailerons to dump lift when you are above the glideslope on an ILS approach or could it be as simple as deliberate 'right' control input?

Dear PMDG, yesterday I bought an extended download service for the 777 LR / F base package, and oppened a TT at 09:58 UTC Until then I got no further feedback from that ticket, and when I check the PMDG Support site it still reads - "Waiting For Agent" On the ticket I included the download extension purchase reference. Is it usual for such a ticket to take so much time to be solved - namely getting back the download link in this case ? Thanks for any feedback.

Captains- In late 2014, Dovetail Games acquired the rights to continue development of the former Microsoft Flight Simulator � franchise and announced that they intended to put FSX into distribution on the Steam platform. This product was released without much fanfare- and unfortunately has left us at PMDG a bit in the lurch because we haven't seen the product in operation and thus aren't prepared to comment on whether our products are compatible or not. I keep getting this error, no idea which PMDG product it is, I have a couple installed, I thought it might be the MD 11, but am unsure, why does it make FSX crash if I click "yes" if its ok to run this program even though there is a problem? Patrick Boynton

Gents- It seems about once per year that I wind up coming to the forum asking if anyone has any suggestions for how to resolve a particular issue I am having- and this is going to be that annual post! Normally when I need help with something hardware or software related I just go directly to Ryan at our tech support because **nobody** knows how to fix stuff better than Ryan... Guys I am hoping maybe someone can help me. This all seem to happen after the last update of gsx. If I load a pmdg aircraft. Nothing in the fsx addon menu is selectable. My asn will not connect. My trakir will not work. And my ch yoke and saitek throtle will not function. If I remove the fsuipc dll from my fsx intall everything works again. I have reinstalled simconnect. Fsuipc. My c ++ runtimes and removed all fsdt stuff. No joy. If it's a pmdg aircraft with fsuipc enabled nothing works. Any help. Been struggling with this for a week.
