In preparation for upgrading to FSX, I am trying to delete all my FS9 aircraft including the 747-400 Queen of the Skies. I made some sort of mistake the first time and couldn't get the Windows 7 Add and Remove Program to execute. When I clicked on 747-400 Queen of the Skies, nothing happened. So, I re-installed everything to see if that would help, but I am still having the same issue. Is there a manual way to do this? Thanks, Steve Canham

So I did a flight yesterday with my NGX and for the first time, my HUD wasn't showing a single thing. The glass was there and I could see right through it, even the tint in the glass, but there was no sympology on it. Tried another flight today - same. Any ideas? I've submitted a support ticket to PMDG, but if it can be resolved quicker here...

Hello I had to reset my PC so I lost all my files. Now I want to restart FSX again and with it my PMDG Boeing 777. I had problems before with it so I contacted the support. They did answer the first time with a question about what error message I get. After that they didn't answer. So my download URL has expired and what should I do now? I don't think the support will answer my ticket... You pay so much money for something on the pc and then I can't expect support? That's really bad.

Letting you know this worked for me I am not trashing flight one utx usa and Canada. But here it go's I took those programs out put fscene4X in did the Steves dx10 fix ran the dx10 then back to dx9. I have not had 1 oom sense on fsdreamteam or flightbeam flytampa and all other payware airports. I fly only vatsim so no traffic this is on a 3770k intel at 4.2 ghz asus formulus maximus V bord 16gb mem 3gb XFX 7970 black vid card" ON the ground with GSX and AES and ACTIVE SKY NEXT settings 95% hitting 24FPS in the air 50 to 100FPS. I just came back from Italy on a 767. I was wondering over the Atlantic do the pilots have contact with ATC by voice by radios? Or is communication with ATC through another manner? Due to strong head winds, the flight took a more southerly route - and only at FL280. One more question: I pulled up the weather chart and it showed strong westerly winds over the north Atlantic - that's why we went south - but I could not find wind data at different altitudes. I see the wind aloft data on flights over land, but where can I view current winds (at different altitudes) over the Atlantic Ocean? Is this info free or do I need to subscribe to it? Hello! I have the following problem: Sometimes before landing, fsx crashes. It closes down. This problem occur with all pmdg planes. Not at every flight, but often enough to get frustrated.... My pc: AMD 5core with 16GB RAM, FSX accel., 1GB grafic, enough diskspace.. I heard and read, that pmdg replaces old dll´s ? Can anyone help me? Thanks,, Thorsten Denkhaus

How does it work? I tend to be a guy who likes to upgrade his system, I see problems when activation is linked to hardware. How can I be sure that my product will continue to function or is PMDG basically dictating how many times we can upgrade our systems? Thanks! PS: Do they ever have sales?

Captains, A few months ago, I mentioned that we were starting a long term process to expand the support and forum moderating team here at PMDG. Since that day, we have been deleting dozens of threads each day asking "when will the new forum mods be unveiled?" I posted a while back that my PMDG 747 and 737 software was messing up the display when I minimized it and then maximized it again. I used window mode as suggested by another user but I still need to minimize the window to access a monitoring program i need for a virtual airline I belong to. Does the 777 program have the same display issue because I'd like to purchase it but if I can't manipulate the window there's no point in buying the software. Larry Schechter

If you've ever wondered what pilots use for flight performance calculations and you own an iPad, go to the App Store and search for Boeing or Boeing OPT. The app is for demonstration purposes, so the database is limited - I think the OPT app is for the 777-300ER, so, for the Takeoff Weight field, you'll need to enter a 773ER TOW. I would recommend 300000 (kg). Is there a market for a PMDG developed iPad based performance tool? Would PMDG even be willing to develop a similar app for its fleet of Boeing simulations? I have been trying to log in to my PMDG account but it keeps saying connection failed. I know its not my internet since it seems fine other than the PMDG site(plus I have the fastet internet the internet provider offer for my area). Could someone check if there is an issue with the servers?

I am contemplating getting the manuals in anticipation of the 747 V2. Will their be an update to the printed manuals to reflect the changes etc of the new arrival? Thanks, Dave

Hello everybody. I was doing another flight with the 747, but guess what. I have not been able to complete any flights out of the 8 I have done since I bought the software. Instead the sim freezes after 30 minutes and I get the error saying apphangB1. I am using vista 64 sp1. Is there anyone that can help me with my problem thanks.Steven

Sorry Translate Text. PMDG 777X bad for Cockpi builders. No Key assignments. Example Level-D has a key Commands for all funktions. This reaction is at PMDG only as a programmer possible. Hi, So I haven't touched FSX for nearly six months. Bought an Oculus rift DK2 and can't go back to flying with TrackIR on a normal screen :( Has anyone tried the rift with PMDG aircraft? It requires 75FPS minimum. My question is specific to PMDG, not default aircraft in FSX. This Damn rift has ruined Flight simming for me, now fly spaceships in Elite Dangerous..

Why is it that PMDG products are only sold through their website and Aerosoft's? I'd think that if they sold them through other retailers, such as Just Flight, FSPilotshop, anf the Flight Sim Store, they'd be able to sell more copies. Does it have something to do with keeping their brand more 'exclusive'? Are PMDG products sold elsewhere and I just can't find them?

Shared cockpits (where 2 people share one virtual aircraft) is high on my wishlist. I seem to recall seeing a test feature in an early release of the first 744 which was pulled (I could be wrong - it was a while ago)... but ever since - I've wondered about it. You might know there is a 3rd party tool for sharing "most" of the 737 cockpit, but I wondered with the onset of p3d (and less chance of OOMs) etc - whether anything could be incorporated within the PMDG software (as Majestic seem to have done in their upcoming Dash 8 pro version).…

Hi all Here is my problem: PMDG has close my account without no reason and I can't find anything to contact them, I no longer have access to the pmdg bae jetstream product which was collect my paypal account and I wish an immediate refund because I did not pay for a non-existent product and an account block like that from one day to the next. If someone can tell me how to contact them to get a refund until I go file a complaint complaint to the police and go to court for fraud. Hello Captains, i´m a Pilot of our stunning PMDG T7 (-200LR and -300ER) and i´m using this aircraft together with Active Sky Next (the latest version). I´m really happy ASN but it´s strange that i get turbulences on EVERY apporach. It makes the approach more difficult and i get them even if it´s sunny etc. That is strange and i can´t believe that such a huge airplane like a 777-300ER is effected buy turbulences this way. Are there any options in the ASN settings i have to change, so it´s more realistic together with our 777? Maybe you have the perfect ASN settings for me (turbulence scale..)?!
