Having been anxiously awaiting the arrival of 777 onto the P3d platform for the past few months, I just purchased it a few hours ago and now got done flying around a bit just to see how she looks in the P3d environment. Since her release there has been much heated debate/complaining on various forums about pricing/vas usage/performance. But I figured I would start a post on a lighter more happy note, and say WOW! Is any one using this little client ? it's not to shabby actually. If you have an iPad the fmc goes into your iPad and instead of bringing up your FMC in the aircraft every time you just do everything on your pad, and if you find it don't connect just make sure that the IP address is the same in both the client and the FMC . Some times i find it's a little slow to react but for 20 bucks it's runs nice.

I keep on getting a message in my OC asking me to update my PMDG 777's with the new SE editions, but as was stated here by PMDG there is no need if you don t have FSX:SE so i tend to ignore it and tell oc to do the same, but each time i launch oc, messages appear again.. so, nothing really serious, but just a little thing to think about for developers on the other side, i read on FS2Crew website that a new update of RAAS is incuded in SP1d... true? then it would actually make sense to update to SP1d? a bit confused ....

Just a quick question. For those of you who have run both FSX and P3D on your computer, can you please tell me if you've seen better performance with P3D than FSX or vice versa with regard to framerates? I assume your setups for both simulators will be either the same or close to it, so I'm just hoping to get an idea of how they compare in terms of stuttering, framerates, etc.

but I have brought shame on your 777. I've been crashing , landing short of the runway, overshooting the runway, over speeding, landing too fast without flaps, forgot landing/navigation lights, failed to follow ATC instruction, flying under/over restricted FL, damage the landing gear, hit a tree etc...It was all done in the name of learning. Don't worry, I am not planning of flying commercial flight anytime soon.

Bought the B772 and the B773 extension. After installing the validation for both failed with an error (which I won't post here for obvious reasons). I then went to PMDG main home page and logged in to my account. When I then selected "Contact Us" in order to raise a ticket I was asked to login again but this time it would not recognise my login details (same as for home page login) - I emailed support but got an email back to the effect they would not deal with my issues until I raised a ticket. Hello, Could someone who has purchased the license or someone from the dev team post some info, recommendation from PMDG on setting in P3Dv2 to be able to do long haul flight with this bird without OOM please? Until 64 bit support this is even more of an issue with P3Dv2 not less than it was in FSX. I tried the PMDG website but I could not find anything, and the other release thread is filled with people complaining about having to pay again and nothing else on the actual flight in the new platform. Hi all in the forum. I have been following all the threads on the 777 and the P3D software, but there is a basic fundamental principle that I am missing. If P3D is not meant to be sold for the entertainment market in accordance with their website, what licence have all you guys bought to be able to fly the 777 on P3D. Are you all aviation students? or can you just buy any licence and the 777 and go fly. I did not buy P3D because of this, but got Steam instead, and still have the joystick disconnect issue that no one seams to be able to fix. I have it working on fsx ok by using FSUIPC, but having issues with that in Steam, which I may be able to sort out. So just asking w…

Just tried yesterday after buying pmdg777 for p3d with oculus rift.. And guys.. I start up sim in OMDB Dubai intl. Airport on runway with engines running.Looking around the cockpit and is huge..I mean huge.. Checking buttons and gauges for a while just to see how readable are they.. Well not very much at this time cause of Oculus resolution,but Speed and altitude was somehow readable as the display with speed and altitude in 777 is quiet big..So lets take that baby for a nice ride around the airport and land back..Take off switch on the AP and just enjoying the view.. So I took the plunge and got the 777 for P3D. However after installation the activation window doesn't show up when I select the aircraft from the menu like it usually does. The flight loads and the aircraft just sits there with no Landing Gear and nothing works in the flight deck. (no clickspots either). Have I missed something? I recently completely uninstalled FSX and Prepar3D and all my add-ons and re-installed everything from scratch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Dear PMDG and fellow Pilots, Flight Simulation has finally moved on. I have completed 3 flights in the mighty triple on P3D yesterday/today, and it's fabulous. Yes - one OOM, but I've followed advice and set up a default flight and turned stuff down. That's life, and PMDG have really pushed their limit on a 32bit sim. It's an amazing achievement. I have asked the guys at virtual avionics about updating the IPAD CPU app for P3D, and they are already on it. I'm looking forward to the V2 Queen, but anxiety has rescinded for the time being - until I'm faced with the fate of whether my trusty Aerosoft 744 MCP/EFIS/EICAS hardware will ever function with the V2. …

I was looking for a recent post regarding the activation of 777 on FSX SE but non of it helped, coz I'm not able to activate mine, no dialog box to input the code? Are people having the same issue? I diactivate both 200-300 on old FSX, and purchased FSX SE. pls help

Will this version support P3D 64bit when it gets released? or do we have to buy a separate versions? i know that when that happends it will take a while before it gets updated to run with it

Hi, I submitted a ticket and have been waiting for days for a reply by PMDG. Suddenly I found a red "1" on the Alerts box and, inside the ticked, a "Waiting for you" message, as if they had replied and it was my turn, but indeed no one from PMDG replied! I wrote something anyway and, after a few days, again I find "Waiting for you". Why does that happen?? Thanks.

Is there a way to create a mod to get the FMC locked as it is for fs2crew panel? I also dream to have the aircraft as the same state as I left the earlier flight. I can imagine saving the panel state in automatic and set it as state in the FMC.

Att PMDG team, I know that you are now very busy with other projects and P3D but please keep in mind that there are a lot of simmers that love MD11 and it would be great if you update her for using in FSX SE. For FSX I use it as a home entertainment while I love the depth and professionalism of PMDG products. So what kind of P3D license would you suggest me purchasing?
