Hi All, I just noticed that the NGX SP1d was released and the NGX for P3D. I Downloaded the SP1d and purchased the NGX for P3D, however I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation nor the forum the full feature List that the SP1d brings on board. I am talking more on the "new" features (added/changed/removed) and less on the "Fixed" change log (that would be nice too). can some one here address me to where can I find the full added/changed/removed feature list of the new SP1d? does the NGX for P3D contains the exact same features as the SP1d for FSX/SE?

Just did a quick test flight with the NGX in P3D. The autopilot held the ILS down to the runway, but the far right side of the runway - not the centerline. I'm using a fresh install of P3D 2.5. Only other installed addons are FSUIPC and ASN running on a client PC over the network. I think I remember seeing this issue in another forum and it having to do with the shaders for some reason. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Hi ! I'd like to buy both the 737 and 777 for P3D. How many times I can install/uninstall the products on the same pc? In other words if I need to format my computer, what is the correct procedure? I have other add-ons and I need to deactivate them and then I can reactivate without problem. How the PMDG products work in this sense ? Thanks a lot! Regards, Massimo Solimbergo

Just updated my 737 today, which I thought when I bought it a few years ago couldn't get much better. I'm an old fuddy duddy who is sticking with FSX for the time being, and the update is really marvellous. Sorted out quite a few little niggles and, of course, we have the excellent terrain sweep and weather radar. So I'm going to do my first flight in the new PMDG 737 shortly and thought I'd just type a quick message of gratitude before the cockpit safety inspection:

I currently own all of the PMDG products (except the upcoming DC9) and I have an age old question concerning the MD-11. The rumor mill still has the MD-11 as a proverbial logic bomb for PMDG products and I want to include it in my hanger... but if it still causes errors within FSX to the point I have to wipe ALL my entire FSX drive, I rather leave it where it is - as a executable zip file from PMDG. Has PMDG addressed this issue long ago already and the latest updates will not have any effect on the sim, or is it still what many are saying what it is? I have tried running the MD-11 a while back after I had bought the 747-8i and I had to repair the entire drive... thankful…

Dear PMDG, Are you guys every planning on releasing external gauges with your future products? I run my rig with 2 computers and would love to be able to extend the gauges to a client computer. I know majestic does this for their Q400 and it's great. I would really love to see this feature in all your new products. Thanks! Kris Greenough Long time supporter of PMDG

Captains- This might just be the shortest post I make in my entire history at AVSim! We are planning to release the NGX udpate for FSX and FSX/SE prior to the weekend. P3D versions shortly afterward... We are finished, we are waiting on one minor detail to get corrected... I'll let you know when it is pending- we won't drop it unannounced, I promise. Expect somewhere in the range of 6-18h notice. Also- I should have instructions for DVD and Aerosoft download users to update... by this time next week...

While the 777 might not have gotten too much added to it in SP1d, the NGX has a couple modifications. One of them is visible here. Can you spot it?

Hello guys. I created this topic on the "Monitors, Video Cards and Drivers" section as well, but I also created it here because my build is mostly FSX-oriented, most specifically for PMDG aircraft, and I'd like to hear opinions from PMDG guys. First off I will share my current build with you: Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K @ stock speed (Turbo Boost and HT enabled, not overclocked yet). Motherboard: ASUS Z87-PRO RAM Memory: Corsair Vengeance 1x8GB (don't know the exact reference / speed / latency) Hard disks: 128GB Corsair SSD & 1TB Western Digital Blue HDD Case (not relevant anyway): CoolerMaster HAF XM Power Supply: CoolerMaster something, 600W Cooling: Co…

I am getting desperately low on hard disk space now that I have successfully installed Prepar3D 2.5, PMDG 777s and all sceneries. Am I now free to delete FSX and therefore all of its child directories? If so, it will release much needed space.

Due to an irrecoverable error in FSX, I have to un-install and re-install it. I'm probably going to the FSX SE version. Anyway, before I remove FSX, I want to make sure that all of my FSX-connected software has been removed/un-installed. I'm concerned in cleaning the registry to make sure no old links are present. This would mean removing the 737NGX and the 777. What I am asking here is a suggestion for the proper way to un-install my PMDG software. I have all of the original downloads, so I hope there will be no problems in re-installing them when I install the new FSX SE software. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :o

Hi guys (and gals), I'm getting a brand new laptop next week and I wanted to know what the tech-nerds think about how it'll run FSX:Acceleration and PMDG products, along with ORBX scenery. The specifications of my soon-to-be-delivered laptop are: CPU: 5th generation Intel Core i7-5500U (4MB, 2.4GHz up to 3.0GHz) RAM: 8GB HDD: 1TB GPU: nVidia GeForce 840M with 2GB memory O/S: Windows 8.1 (64-bit) I think this is a fair step up from my current PC, but want to see what others think I should see in terms of differences in FSX performance. Thanks in advance for your advice/comments!

Captains, This thread will provide you with factual information related to PMDG's efforts to release products compatible with the Laminar Research Xplane10 platform. General Status: ============ PMDG are currently developing a product to be released for the Laminar Research Xplane10 platform. This product is the first product PMDG have developed for the Xplane platform and as such, details of the project are being kept in-house until the project has reached a sufficiently advanced stage and PMDG are comfortable with the overall quality and functionality of the product. PMDG are using this first project as a "sandbox" from which to try out new and varied techniques in…

Captains- Most of this post is a cut/paste from my 21FEB15 update, but I wanted to add a few new items and updates... PMDG 737-8900NGX Base Package and PMDG 737-600/700NGX Expansion FSX/FSX-SE: This update is proving to have a bit more gestational staying-power than any of us really likes. On the 21st, we were very comfortable that we had a good, solid release build on our hands. By the end of the weekend, we were targeting a Tuesday night release- and then... suddenly a bunch of things started to appear. We have spent most of this week chasing down some platform differences between FSX and FSX-SE, and eliminating some issues that we introduced while f…
