I have the Carenado F33A Bonanza, and am very happy with it. Currently I have only one glitch with it. When I gear up, the wheel doors won't close. If looking outside and under the plane the doors stay hanging down. This doesn't happen in version 9.70. It also doesn't happen in the Saratoga. All of the Carenado planes, (I have all of them, not to brag), work well , fly well. except this one anomaly.Carenado tells me they will update the plane, as soon as they get the word from Laminar Research that things are stable. would anyone be able to share or have the time to explain how to setup the x52 pro.I have tried to set it up for a helo but it flies were it wants to, have turned of turbulence as suggested but no difference.Noob at XPX but would like to get into it .Denis

So I've been reading huge amounts about x planes flight model, how it's inaccurate in the default C172 (among others). Too sensitive. Too bouncy. Flies like a fighter jet.Well, having only flown a Cessna a few times about 14 years ago before I moved to Beech, I decided to try and adjust the flight model of the default Cessna to reflect a little less like fighter jet and a little more like a Cessna. Took me all of 3 minutes.Keep in mind, I am only guessing as to the handling. As a potential customer of XP10, I'd like to get some images and screenshots from the game.Many of the loyal readers here might already know my position on the current condition of the game, but like a moth to a fire, I'm still buzzing about a potential purchase. Will I keep circling, or will I dive in? Hi all,Tried flying a real-weather flight from Cold Bay, AK (PACD) to Dutch Harbor, AK (PADU), and it was very, very rough--40kt gusts and cross winds. Was such a fun challenge (I didn't keep the L-188 on the runway)!Anyway, I noticed that even in very high winds, etc., that the ocean was quite glassy still. Did Laminar drop the wave height change setting? I don't recall using it in XP-9, but saw some threads that they could be set in 9.Does anyone know how/if that is a setting (wave height) in XP-10, or if there is a plug-in for this?Thanks...really enjoying XP-10 "in the soup"Billwww.flyelectra.com

Ok-I hit the enter button-enter a flight plan and then nothing seems to happen.I did let the a.i. fly my aircraft and got a taste of atc. I like the voices but already saw a couple bugs (the a.i. was flying it at 4500 ft. and atc said twice to climb to 2000). I am just wondering what I am missing to try atc out-I could find little about it in the instructions-unless I completely missed it...

I saw on another site, video of this Scenery working in XP10. Not sure if the author has it completly ported to XP10 yet, but Ive seen some videos posted on youtube with it, so I assume it works, at least partially. Looks nice. I am running the demo with limited glsl which is smooth but not much to see other then the aircraft it self. What really concerns me though is how difficult it is to keep flying smooth. From take off its already all over the runway and as soon as I am wheels up the airplane starts to bank with no input from me and then I find it very dificult to keep it flying straight. Is this how the x planes physics are normally or do I need to adjust something in the settings. I've been flying FSX since the 80's and never had this much trouble controlling the plane even with moderate winds. To me that would be the deal breaker. Hi. I would like to ask if someone can explain how the settings of clouds work. There are three settings, including transparency. Well, can please someone tell me what are the different settings for? Is the transparency setting a way to have a random percentage of transparent clouds (I mean, if I use the 100% solid then ALL the clouds will be really consistent, even the light ones, like cirrus clouds and so on? Or solid stays to indicate that the cloud won't let you see underneath when passing over it? Hey Guys and Girls,I've just recieved X-Plane 10 and was wondering how I turn the AI off. I would rather use that extra processing power to up my scenery and make the world more appealing than having 4(Seeing as i'm using 4 cores) AI planes fly around.(Sorry if it has been answered, i've tried looking around, but to no luck so far.)Cheers,Matt

Sim looks fine but the "audio sound engine" is dated and awful! Cannot believe that Laminar still uses one wave file for the entire frequency range of the engine causing this "step down" sound when throttling back! It would be nice to see this "updated" in a release posting but I doubt it will be done without major rewriting of the audio code! Shame as the sim is promising.

Can't seem to figure out how to set my hat switch up on my joystick to be able to free look around the 3D cockpit. Any tips?

What is HDR rendering actually doing, I can't see any difference with it on or off other than a huge drop in fps. Perhaps its just where or how I am flying, or maybe I just don't know what to look for. I am the same with anti-aliasing I can't really tell any difference on or off. Maybe cataracts are OK after all. :-)

Do the Saitek suite of ProFlight controllers (yoke, throttle quadrants, rudder) work with X-plane. And if not now, will they work with XP10? If yes, it (might) tempt me to XP.
