using siatek x52 just started with x plane when I start flight from runway the yaw is terrible using edition 10 x plane also which keys to cheak my fps and alt any suggestions on both please moved from fsx and orbx

Hello, I have a colleague that works with ALPA (Pilot's association) and the NTSB, and who is working with a university that helps train aircraft accident investigators. What they'd like to do is re-create/sim-fly an accident that happened in 1975 and record all the relevant flight position, altitude, changes in altitude, etc parameters from the flight, then print them in a way that would mimic the output that would come from the data recorders. Has anyone used the data recording feature that might provide a quick tutorial on how to use it? I think this should be simple in X-Plane, but it's something I've never tired. Thoughts? Greetings all.. I finally decided to check out X-Plane after years and having purchased tons of addons for P3D. I primarily fly with VR and now that flyinside beta is out, i've had the chance to dabble in X-plane. I have some observations but ill hold on those for the moment (and comparisons to p3d).. My questions are.. At this point i'm on steam version 10, which i guess does NOT entitle me to get version 11 for free, since it wasnt bought directly from their store, which i dont quite understand the logic there, but anyway.. Wondering if i should dive into getting a bunch of addons for 10 or just wait for 11 (whats the likelyhood of these having…

Silly title, but these planes look REALLY nice. I've never seen such a nice default lineup. I was finally able to check out all the screenshots on my PC and not my tiny mobile. I'm especially excited for the cirrus jet, as it's VASTLY improved from XP10. The B747 and the MD80, again, look lovely. And matched with Phillip's upcoming stock FMS - whew! I would say that would draw the tubeliner fans from other sims. The King air and baron look outdated but that's ok as I've got addons for both of those (which hopefully should work hehe) What's your favorite default XP11 aircraft?

At cruise altitude in 752 v2 in default scenery over Alabama all of a sudden my fps goes down to 10-15 fps and then later it goes back to 60 and then a couple of seconds later it goes down again. Anybody know what's going on?

This looks stunning guys. Such a shame Flightfactor left their 777 model with embarrassingly over-sized wheels and flat, flappy wings. Hi, just installed X-Plane after a Win7 reinstall and getting some new errors within X-Plane 10. For instance, I get these errors when loading either Aerosoft EGLL or Lowi DEMO area: "Problem loading w2xp Europe" "Error loading the scenery package:custom scenery/Europe_Library/ In scenerypacks.ini, w2xp_europe is just above Global Airports, and Europe_Library is above this together with other libraries. Worked previously. Can't figure out what's wrong now.

Hello together, I have a problem with Plan-G and X-Plane. When i make a new Flightplan and save it as a PLG-File is it o.k. After, when i have it convert to a Fms-File, its is only a 1kb file and X-Plane, the Jumbo 747 can not load this file. X-Plane is new installed and Plan G to. (all new and up to date). Have anyone a idea what can i do or they are other tools to convert the files from PLG to FMS ??? Thanks to all for help !!! Wolfgang from Munich

Howdy! I like to fly Ortho4XP, I want turn off the taxi/runways, roads so the autogen stays on top of the scenery of Ortho4XP. guess this is much better flying with crisp Ortho tiles. How do I achieve this? Thanks in advance!

Hi there! I've been a vivid XPX user, but I've uninstalled it quite a while ago, because I ran out of HDD space on my SSD setup, and I wanted to use P3D, along with FSX. Now, in preparation of X Plane 11, which I've already preordered, I've uninstalled FSX and reinstalled XPX (10.50 r3) along with my favorite airliners in their current state (IXEG 737, FF 767, FJS 727 and 737). The sim is in a quite vanilla state right now and performs great. I mainly fly over Europe, and back then, I used OSM Europe + autogen, european library, HD mesh v3 and Urban MAXX 3D. I recently took advantage of the Laminar offer to get X-plane 11 free if you purchase the X-Plane 10 version digital. I currently have X-plane 10 Steam version installed over several computers but decided that the 'standalone' version would be more practical. I have a problem in that whenever the 6gig X-Plane 10 download is interrupted it does not resume from where it left off but starts from the beginning again. At least the Steam version downloaded from the last interruption. I would like to download all the files using a download manager, so that I can use these files to install on other computers. I'm on a Mac with XP 10.51. Airport runway and approach lighting looks good, as does road traffic, but I get poor city lighting at night. I have many add-on airports (payware and freeware), and the only non-airport scenery that I have is in a folder zzz_hd_global-scenery2 (which I think is more "mesh" than "scenery"). Are there any pay/free ware recommendations to get good night lighting when overflying urban areas? Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Bruce.

Hi all, just got around to buying x-plane. running it on 3 monitors and the immersion level is awesome. Here is my question: with FSX, I could create a flight plan, and I would start at the gate with ATC guidance (plus progressive taxi) all the way to the final destination. With X-Plane I start at a gate, create a flight plan but nothing happens. It's like ATC doesn't even know I created it. Any tips??

So far when flying the new Cirrus jet and the older BA 777 that comes with the X-plane 10 download version, I am unable to get a hand-off to the tower from ATC. All ATC says is call the runway insight. When I try to do that there is no written dialog response for that or the tower. Then I get ATC giving me vectors back out for what appears another approach. Anybody else notice this? Terry
