Hi Jim...when mom sends me stuff with attachments I cant open them...its like the computer has removed them automaticly in case there are viruses...how can i change that on my computer so that I can open them??? Could some one give me an answer?

about to build my 4th box in an enlight case. For the first time the slides for harddrives seem different. They appear to latch thru holes in the front metal, latching on the outside of the sheet metal intended to receive the hard drive.Like backwards from what I was expecting.Anyone figured this out?Bob Bernstein

I just purchased the ATI 9700 Pro and love the graphics and speed. Amazing can turn everything up and hardly any frame rate drop. I love it. Hey all --This problem just started on my PC. I will get the occasional flicker on my computer. What is wierd is that it flickers the icons, open windows, but not the actual desktop background. And it happens on only one of my monitors. There is no pattern, I cannot figure out what is causing this flickering. Quite frusterating....any idea? Specs in sig

Hi,I've always built my systems with ASUS mb's when i upgraded. Have a PIII right now and will be upgrading very soon to an P4 with 800mhz FSB. Well, Just got an offer from Dell and with the mail in and the % off a 2.6 800mhz with ATI 9800 (windows XP, 30G hard drive, onboard 5.1 sound (which I would replace with my sound blaster 5.1 anyway)) etc... would come out to about $580. The components that I looked at come out more than that. So Iwould save a few hundred with the Dell, but like I said...in the past I always built my own and never bought a pre-fab one... Any advice?? I am planning on using the DVI out port with a VGA adapter to provide a second view in the simulator. I want to use full screen modes as I will be using two LCD Projectors. One projector will be the front view and the other will be the 30 degree side view. Can I do this without running FS in Windows mode. Also, will FS let me set up two outside view windows since I don't need gauge panels as I have a home cockpit set-up. I don't want to set this up in Wideview either ...Anybody doing this type of config with the 9700 or any other dual head card??? Thanks.

I am running into some strange graphics problems on my system and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I am using a low end PC (Pentium III 450 mhz) with a Radeon VE 32 MB Video Card and 384 MB Ram. With the settings turned down, things seem to run ok, just low end FPS. Well, in my attempt to get the most out of the system, I upgraded to some new Omeaga drivers taht were supposed to work with all Radeon cards. Well, when I restarted, the resolution was all messed up, in fact had to boot in safe mode to view the desktop and after about 8 atteempts, I was able to load a base VGA driver to be able to boot in standard mode and see the desktop there.I then re-install…

Hi,I'm upgrading a Gigabyte GA7ZXE board. I'm planning on putting an XP2400 Thouroughbred on it until I ugrade the board and RAM also. The Gigabyte site says that a version 2.1 PCB will support it, but a 2.0 won't (no big problem, I'll just wait for my next pay packet) but in the meantime, does anyone know how to determine the PCD version number of the board?Has anyone else made this upgrade successfully?Cheers,Gareth Evans

Can't wait!!I've downloaded the latest Omega driver set and during the extraction I am asked for 'Disk #2' and am only able to abort the installation at this point.I appear to have a number of files extracted despite this and the size of the 'Radeon Omega Drivers v2.4.43' folder on disk after the above extraction before the request for 'Disk #2' appears is 15.8MB and it contains 147 files.Am I missing anything? The size of the downloaded executable archive is 10,541KB. Should I ignore the request for 'Disk #2'?I'm a little reluctant to proceed with the card swap and driver installation until…

An nswer to my previous post made me think about Dell. ( I still don't see how they use only a 250watt PS with there 800fsb, 2.6) As I said I personally like ASUS. I was looking at the 533FSB with a 2.6(P4B533 I845E) and a 800fsb with a 2.6.(P4P800-VM) Ofcouse I could save about $120 total with the 533 (I wouldn't have to upgrade my case.)What is your advice??? Do ya think it's worth it for the 800fsbIf I skip the dell i would have to pass on the vid card and XP for now. Thanks for an info..Rob

I have just brought a new ASUS V9520 Geforce FX 5200 for my pc (AMD2.1 Elite K7s5a board 784MB RAM).When i try to turn the hardware acceleration on in the display menu in Flightsim it resets itself when i go back into it after. I have just switched over from a TNT2 Nvidia 32MB card and i was wandering if some of the settings in BIOS might be different to what they should be because of this change over?Another thing, my motherboard can only take 4x AGP but this card is 8X AGP, could this be the reason why i cannot use hardware acceleration?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

I just got a new Radeon 9800 card and Dell 17 inch lcd monitor. When I play flight simulator 2002, the trees and other items flicker when flying. If I'm not moving, they are fine. How can i fix this? I also have a problem when inside of the plane, i hear all kinds of popping noises.Does anyone else have a dell 8300 computer with lcd monitor and have the same isssues?thanks!Charles

Hi,I purchased a CH products Flight Yoke USB LE over a year ago and have only used it ....would you believe once !Thats not for the lack of trying and many emails to CH products !The problem is the Yoke is not recognised at all no matter what version of windows or computer USB port I try ..or all the software I have downloaded & tried from the CH website.If I plug in any other USB device I have no problem but this is the second Yoke I have had with a fault ...they replaced a first one that was faulty.
