I want to buy a new video card a friend of mine has already 6800gt OC and I notice water looks pretty bad the reflection is there but the texture looks bad also he gets jagged edges on the wings on taxiways, building, ect.His settings are 4aa, af16 all maxed out except autogen to normal.All I want to know does this also happens to x800 pro? I have purchased a copy of IL-2 Sturmovic and applied 2 patches. My problem is that, when running this programme only , after a short time my computer crashes and re-boots. Before it reboots an error message comes onto the screen -- but disappears before I can get a chance to read what it says. Pressing "pause" at this point does not stop the rebooting process, pressing "Print screen" does not help because the clipboard is cleared when the machine reboots.Anybody got any idea as to what I can do to get to be able to read this error screen to try to get an idea what the problem is?Thanks BarryAMD XP2400Geforce 4 TI4200 vidWindowsXP

Good evening all! Currently I am running The Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev. 1.04 with bios 1008. My processor is the 2.1Ghz Athlon XP 2800, with 1 gig of Kingston PC2700 ram. My vidio card is the ATI 9700 Pro 128. I am runnning a 430 watt power supply in an Antec server case ,with plenty of cooling. I built this settup myself. Is it worth it to go to the Athlon 3200,and a good 256mb vidio card, keeping this MOBO, or should I fork over the mega cash for the new AMD ATHLON 64 4000+ 64-BIT SOCKET 939,and of course money for a new MOBO, RAM,etc?? Hi Guys,Anyone help with this.....?Both my CH Yoke and MS Stick seem to nearly stop responding to forward movements after about 5 minutes of use (ie. to push nose of aircraft down by elevetor movement etc). When viewing from spot view, this is visible, as the elevators will not move fully downwards to induce the aircraft down. Never had any problems before. No recent major changes to my set up either ie. drivers etc. Have tried a rebuild of FS, but this hasn't cured either. Have tried the obvious like 'sensitivities' in settings, but this doesn't help. Seems strange that it's the same with both Yoke or Stick. Anyone had this problem before ?Any suggestions or help would b…

Hi all,This is getting really annoying, I have to format my windows due to some strange behavior, after formatting, I installed the latest Omega driver. To my suprise, my FS becomes a nightmare, the texture re loads a couple of time and then goes blurred. It's only when I press alt+tab and go back to FS the texture will be crisp again. But no guarantee it will stay crisp.I uninstalled the Omega driver, clean the driver files with Driver Cleaner and installed the driver that came with the manufacturer, still the same result. Again I uninstalled the driver and clean with driver cleaner and this time I install ATI Catalyst 4.11 which works on me before, but again, the proble…

Everyone,I am currently running 2X256MB sticks of Corsair XMS memory (PC-2700) that has a pretty low CAS latency. I have a cheapo 512MB stick of PNY memory that is also PC-2700, but is a much higher latency. My MB (Abit AN-7) will default the CAS to the highest speed possible (based on the cheapo memory) which makes sense to me. But, I'm pretty ignorant on the CAS stuff.So, my question is, do you think that I would be better served by only running the 512MB of the Corsair, or using it along with the PNY stuff for a total of 1GB, but at "slower" CAS.I also have a Athlon64 skt 939 3200+ coming in a few days (can't wait for that!). I have the following system:. Dell XPS Pentium IV 3GHz. 1024 MB DDR SDRAM at 400 MHZ. 128 MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics cardI would like to improve my frame rate and the flow of graphics (occasional sutters). I find that at some add on airports (World Airports 2) my fps drops to 8.I have been advised that I have sufficient RAM, and that additional RAM would not help much. Hi All,Not sure if anyone is aware - maybe I am the last to know.I was at the Birmingham Show last weekend admiring a Matrox Parahelia with the PMDG VC spread across three TFT monitors. Amazing (to me anyway). The frame rate seemed good for a screen area >3000x768. Not sure what the other FS settings were.I decided to try it with my pair of 19 inch LCD's. So I am currently running 2560 X 1024. This gives a stunning panorama with the VC and good frame rates with everything maxed out. The Video Card I currently have is a Geforce 3 Ti200 and I am getting between 8 and 15 fps when high quality clouds are on and between 14 and 25 with simple clouds on. I am considering buying an Nvidia 6800LE 128mb as I am hoping to get the 20fps and above AND use the high quality clouds.
