What does the term "backcourse"mean

Hi all, I still cant locate my fs9.cfg in win 7 64 bit os the info i have is ''C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9DJ'' but app data does`nt show can some one tell me how to access this file,i have a lock showing on the file name is this the prob? then if how to unlock the beast! Hi all. Correct me if I'm wrong but I could have sworn I was seeing an effect while flying out of KMCO yesterday afternoon. Time was approx. 1900 EST and conditions were overcast with light rain. All the taxiways had a sheen to them which honestly made everything wet looking. This was viewed on (5) seperate monitors as this was in a 757 simulator with wrap around visuals Has anyone else noticed this or did I possibly inhale some petroleum products prior to flying? LOL Honestly I am reporting something I've never noticed at any other FS9 airport and if this is truly an effect it is a superb and highly believable one. Thanks

I have been considering purchasing this aircraft for some time, but have been hesitant due to the apparent lack of a widescreen 2D panel. For anyone that owns this aircraft, is a widescreen version included in the 1.2 update? If not, is there a widescreen panel available out there somewhere? Well it's no secret that new payware airports for FS9 are starting to become less available as developers concentrate on newer platforms. Just thought I would ask what airport/s our forum members are really hanging out for? I'll start the ball rolling and nominate Beijing Capital, ZBAA (China) as the one MEGA airport left conspicuously absent. It seems odd particularly since ZBAA is presently the second ranked airport for passenger numbers and likely to overtake Hartsfield-Jackson (Atlanta) for 2014's title. Do the freeware airports like kjfk have moving vehicles like pushback tugs,catering trucks?.do these vehicles/airbridges move up to the aircraft when it parks?

I am working abroad and have brought my Dell XPS M1730 (rather than my main FS PC) so that I can at least fly FS9 whilst I am away (2 years...). Getting my PC here is too much of a hassle, and a risk.. So, the M1730 runs with XP x64, 2.2GHz CPU, GeForce 8700M GPU & 2GBs RAM. Hardly cutting edge, but should be OK for FS9 and a small selection from my thousands of addons (aircraft/scenery etc.). My problem is with Antialiasing at the moment. If I enable the FS9 AA from Options, frames rates go from 30 (capped) to just 2fps! I have tried SweetFX, as I use this on my PC, but that still cuts the fps to about 14 or so when I install the dll files etc into the FS…

Hi, to my surprise I found that today Akesoft has released a FS9 version of its Lleida + Cerdanya X V2 scenery. There's another Lleida scenery by TropicalSim - some years older (from 2010) but has AES support. In the new Akesoft version one can see some kind of green huts built directly in front of the terminal building. TSims version hasn't these huts - and they look strange in fact compared with the futuristic tower/terminal building. I tried to confirm the existence of these huts but neither G***** maps nor B*** maps show these. Now, which version is correct? Are there green huts in front of the terminal or aren't they? Hello fellow simmers, So after flying in Europe and South America for a while, I decided to start flying in the US. However, I noticed that my framerates dropped significantly when I fly in US cities ONLY. Now, I know that US airports have lots of AI, and that US cities are big and have a lot of autogen, but this is something that I experience only in the US. I have flown into and out of Heathrow, for example, with the UK2000 scenery, and have managed to do around 20 FPS (my max frame rates, considering I don't have a stronger graphics card; I'm happy with 20 FPS). I have gradually drifted back to FS9 and would like to find a good airbus320. I know several years ago fs9 was lacking a good airbus like the FSX Aerosoft 320 X. I think Air Simmer was making one but not sure if it really made it. I have the Overland airbus planes, which were not bad but no FMC etc. So far the only ones I have found are the Eurowings/Aerosoft 320 and Just flight airbus. PSS made one which I think JF now sells. I realize they are light aircraft but I could probably enjoy flying them in FS9. I have the old PSS T7 and really enjoyed bringing it back to life. Would the JF airbus be similar to the functions that the PSS T7 have? Appreciate any sugge…

Loaded them back in today from not having used them for a number of years. Now,I ask myself why did I replace them in the first place? They are more real world than anything else. I was plain silly to have looked elsewhere. Thank goodness for archive back up's .

Downloaded from AVSIM the (Super) Constellations for FS9 & FSX. Both are running fine. However I do not know how to set/change the altitude when flying the Constellation aircraft. Any suggestions for this Constellation beginner.

Last August I posted a message here about Navigraph's FMS update installer NOT updating the FMS for thefeelthere/Wilco's CRJ. Unfortunately, in spite of being viewed by nearly 350, it didn't illicit a single response! Surely I'm not the only person who has experienced this problem (in fact I know I'm not as I found a couple of posts on Navigraph's support forum about this problem, none contained a solution).At any rate, I still haven't been able to update the FMS on Wilco's CRJ. I am thinking about re installing the NL2000 scenery (for FS9) but before I do I have a question. Can you delete airports from that scenery? I have payware scenery for Schiphol, Maastricht, and Eindhoven so I would not want those sceneries that comes with the NL2000 scenery. Can they be deleted easily?

Hi Forum, I was going to start the transition from FS9 to FSX about a month ago, but decided FSX wasn't for me after all. I have never had trouble with frame rates for FS9 and texture loading was always fast. Since I have deleted FSX my FS9 and system have gone in the toilet. My frame rates are terrible, textures take a long time to load, and after long flight my whole computer is just really slow. I have tried to increase my Virtual memory, repair the FS9.exe registry, virus scan, and have gotten rid of all scenery and planes I don't use. Last, it seems the longer the flights the worse the sim gets, plus a get a hang time for about one minute with small static s…

Hello avsim community, A few days ago, my fs9 started to behave anormally. Anyway I start a new fly (any plane, any location), a few seconds after that my throttle control get out of control. This happens with the keyboard even (joystick unplugged). The plane start to gain speed by itself, without touch the control and set at 1900 RPM automatically. If after that, I set the throttle control to IDLE, or at MAX RPM speed, a few seconds after automatically change de RPM to 1900 again. I don't want to reinstall, but if it is the only way..., i would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Just took a look at this piper cub i found here in Flightsim pa18cubd.zip the title says FS2004 but when you run the installer it points to FSX??? I personally like this cub because of it's nice Plumped Tundra tires and the textures used for the Tires (Hard to find tundra tires like that for FS9) PS: If anyone knows of an FS9 Cub with tundra Tires like that please let me know thanks

I was flying a tutorial and navigating to KSEA for when rod Machado instructed me to tune my radios in which I was to tune nav1 to 110.6 which is the frequency for ksea vor. He then told me to tune nav1 standby to 110.3 and nav2 to 115.5.why is this?

Quick explanation, I have this nice Addon Scenery ESMU i downloaded from somewhere, when i visit the airport with the Piper Cub everything is neat and dandy. Even with AI. But so far when visited by the Default Cessna or even the the Payware Nemeth design chopper and some other aircraft's the following happens. 1.Tree textures disappear 2. AI Traffic Texture disappear 3. even the Airport Textures disappear 4. I had a problem with my KFLL scenery and had to re install the scenery. After I installed it again I saw I have 2 files for AI parking, I have a file named AP_KFLL.bgl and AF2_KFLL.bgl. Are they both supposed to be in there? I know it's not good to have 2 AFCAD's but the installer put 2 of them in there, so I am not sure if both are supposed to be there for some reason. Also there is a AF2_KFL1.bgl file
