Was wondering if FSceneX for 2004 would give any real enhancement over my recent installation of Sascha's Enviro. I have been well pleased with Sascha's work but always looking for any other enhancement that might provide a little more imporvement. The main reason I would be curious is becasue Just Flight is having a 24 hr sale at 60% off. Any comments welcomed.

Hey guys,Is there anyway to program that FS loads the texture faster? Hi there, wonder if anyone can help me as I have the following problem. I have the Queen of Skies installed followed by the B7474-400F. when I load the aircraft up after 5-10 seconds the display on the crystal screens disappear and I don't know why as I never used to have that problem before. I am running on Win7 64bit system FA9. Hopefully someone can help me get it fixed big Thanks Rob

Hi all, I have decided after much consideration (watching lots of you tube) to migrate back to FS9. I am sick to death of the endless tweaking ( and crashing) of FSX! All I want to do is fly for my VA's and at 62 I think I'll be dead before the T7 appears! Which was really all that was keeping me with FSX. So would some kind souls recommend the following for me, the best; Airliner, weather engine, graphics addons and scenery, thanks in advance.

Hey! I've got a AI Grumman American, I adapted things for AI-use, and that always, when starting it's AI flight, as soon as it is, still on the ground, in movement it starts hanging backwards dragging the tail over the ground an the nosewheel up above the ground. I know some settings in the aircraft.cfg file need to be corrected, but I don't know what exactly I have to modify. Please, can somebody help me? Greetz Jive1

Will Alaska Cinematic Volume1 and Volume 2 work with GlacierBay v2, Tongass.and Misy? I also have UT USA CANADA will this worked with this?

When I install v4.x the modules tab does not appear in the FS9 menu bar. Edit: Ah, nevermind, I see now at simMarket that v3 is listed under FS2004, and v4 is under FSX.

I don't know where to address this but I have been searching for days without any luck. I have FS2004. And I also have sqwakbox 4.0. Up until a few weeks ago I cant see other planes on the vatsim network. Someone said it was a router problem but I have wifi and I have connected to several connections with the same problem. I am running windows 8.1 ATC can see me and I hear them and other planes but I cant see anyone. I also have Norton360 Premier Edition. Any help would be great

I remember in one of my solo flights ( Cessna 152), I had my first experience with CAT. The cause at that location was heath over the ground, [Hot air rising threw my plane like a butterfly] It was a moment of quick decision. I went up an extra 3000 feet, and reporting the location to the center. I was wondering whether there was a way to simulate that experience in FS9 ( FSX as well). This could add a bit of realism. I recently got a new 500gb hard drive from a friend, and have been re-installing all 110gb of my FS2004 collection. I wanted to help contribute to this community by detailing some of my flight adventures - screenshots, flight plans, etc. Is such a thing allowed here? If I post FS9 screens over in the official screenshots forum I'm probably going to start some sort of "get that old FS9 crap outta here" nonsense. LoL

Installing Wilco B777 in FS9, VOR frequencys display but with the incorrrect alpha designations and wrong DME numbers. STA in the EFIS module is inoperative. Also, when accessing "End Flight", it disconnects from FS9 and reverts back to a desktop ... should return to the FS9 home page. DG

Right in the middle of a live flight ohhhhhhhhhhh UPDATE: Since i managed to get a screen when the crash happened i was able to get the LONG and LAT as to where the crash occured so i reloaded the sim and entered the LONG and LAT this time its continuing fine not sure what that was all about. Any Ideas??

Hi! This is my first post on this site, so... yeah. Anyway, I'm looking to get some new planes for FS9 after FSX continuously crashed in windows 8.1. I'm looking to get some new planes. I already have some old scenery, graphics, aircraft addons from before, but I need some new planes and AI So what do you guys think: PMDG 737/ 747 or iFly 737 They all look pretty promising, but what's your opinion? It doesn't need a virtual cabin, but it would be a nice extra. Are there any others out there that handle and look realistic? Or maybe a 757? I don't want any Airbuses (boeing ftw). I'm forever being left in the dark about this particular AI Flightplan file by AIG of Omni Air International previous version and up to date version of 2013-14. I've done everything routine countless times when it comes to this traffic pack, again so many countless times that there's nothing that can be done, only one airplane will show up out of the AI Flightplan at the destinations for that scheduled airplane type, and that is the AI Malcontent 767-200. Hi to all, I'm using FS2004 and TrackIR 5. I need to store 5 or 6 cameras into VC for better handling FMC, Throttle, Radios, Overhead panel and so on. In FSX I achieved that purpose using EZCA and setting up as many cameras as I need. I'd like to do the same in FS2004 (I don't need camera effect of EZCA, but only VC cameras). I tried out Active Camera but seems it doesn't work and have problem with TrackIR, too many shaking in VC with Internal Pilot View activated. If you deactivate it, you loose mouse zoom and other important functions. Do you have any idea for software similar to EZCA but for FS2004 that works properly with TrackIR? Thanks in adva…

I have been using FSrealwx lite (v1.07.1522) but I see there is a v2 pro open beta out (it doesn't say lite in the description). What is the difference between the lite version I have now and the new v2 pro open beta version? Is the v2 pro version the next version of the lite one?

Hello. I searched both Avsim and Flightsim forums for my specific issue and was unsuccessful in getting a definitive answer. Here goes. I wanted to update my AAL fleet to the newest livery, and I downloaded the file ssp763erv5_cf6-80c_american_airlines_ow (for one world), as well as the non-one world version. Both contained winglet and straight wing models. No biggie. I read the "Read Me" about 4 times to understand what was required in the Panel.cfg file, since, without any editing, the model shows up in the drop down selector in FS9, but no plane appears, and an error message pops up instantly. For those Who are not aware I found some cool Airport Service Vehicles for FS2004, There pretty old but hard to find I certanly had fun with them.below i posted one of my you tube videos there you will see them in action. I simply used Fs-recorder and merged all individual recordings as traffic playback. Q: How to make the autopilot faster responsive so that speed is closelt maintained. I guess it's got to do with the PID settings of the speed controller... Where is is usually coded? In the gauge, in the fde, the aircraft.cfg? Not sure I was clear... Thanks for your help. Ghiom

The utility works perfectly fine for me, outside of the fact that upon saving and loading my settings, FS9.1 experiences a CTD. Love how it works, but it's a massive pain in the arse to have to reconfigure my settings each time I boot up FS9.1. Any ideas? *edit* -- running Active Camera 2.1 and FS9.1
