Hi Jigsaw Puzzle Buffs, As many may know, over at the Ford Tri-Motor Project site we have some electronic Flight Sim related Jigsaw Puzzles. The puzzles are of course focussed on FS2004 and the images created for the Project Site. But that does not limit the entertainment you will enjoy from tinkering with these puzzles. I downloaded an Avianca repaint for the PA A319 by Manuel Jose Larrahondo Burgos for FS9, I installed the Aircraft fine and changed the fuel but I can't load the "left" and "right" parts for the fuel. I use http://fuelplanner.com/ for my fuel and then I divide the total fuel by 5 so I know what to enter into the fuel loading entrys. I've done flights with the PA A380 with no problems with fuel at all. Another thing with the PA A319 is that it uses all the run-way just to get in the air, it's such a horribly designed Aircraft,it's so buggy and extremely heavy even after the fuel has been changed, does anyone know what's wrong? I always wondered why Alpha India Group publish their (excellent) AI Flight Plans one step back. Now when the season is Summer 2014 they publish Winter 2013/14. It was always like that! Is it their policy or something else. Does anybody know?

Hey! I have a B377 Pan American Super Stratocruser that I modified for West AfricanCargo AI flight, i.e. I want it to fly an AI flight and made the flightplan myself. Now the aircraft does not want to follow the right course, i.e. it goes from one place to the other, but does never schange direction, only height and speed change according the needs, but not the direction. I can see that the aircraft in it's aircraft.cfg file has 'autopilot_available=1' and 'flight_director_available=0'. Maybe this latter could be the reason why the aircraft doen never follow the planned directions.... Can somebody explain me why this is, and how to modify things as to have the aircr…

I'm trying to run FS2004 at max or near-max settings with great FPS on a new computer in 2014... is that too much to ask for? From BestBuy, we bought an Asus Q310. It ran flightsim great on max settings except for the fact that there was some random keyboard glitch, rendering it unusable. Four of the keys wouldn't type what they were supposed to, both in and out of the game. This was not there before I installed the sim. I exchanged it for another computer of the same model, dismissing it as a random glitch, but low and behold, once I installed FS, it happened again. Had a little time to spend with this very nice airport scenery from Taxi2gate. First the aerial survey Ticks the box, these days I do prefer an airport that is interesting. This one is definitely interesting. Then, time to check out the vegetation: tick Time to check the facilities: yep you do need the right credentials ...which we do have, and it seems, quite a few others also do. There's plenty of airliner activity. Having 4 runways means there's often a drag race off a pair of them, and some other action on the expansive property. New Jersey is one of those states I pass alot when I fly my fs9. Normally I got a frame rate of 35 (locked at 35) and when Im at busy airports I got around 20. Perfect for me. The airports I have are from Flightbeam and Fsdreamteam. Over the years I collected alot of them. (JFK, DFW, SFO, LAS, LAX and so on) There is an issue I have lately. When I come across New Jersey my frame rate drops like crazy. It goes to 5 fps and even lower and yesterday my FS did a CTD above Trenton. What is going on? When I shut down the AI there is no problem. Could there be an issue with US Airways near or at KPHL? KPHL I use is from Sunskyjet. Who else has this problem? D…

Hi, does anybody know which values I must set in the aircraft cfgs' that I can get the wingviews? Or is there a good tool? I know that I can set spot or wing views with Fs recorder, but I'm not very enthusiastic with this program. I hope someone can help me

Originally, I saw the manual or working specs of A330, the Zero fuel and no payload CG should be around 25%However, when I load the Wilco A332 or A333, the CG shown at the MCDU is only 13% which is not correct.The wrong 13% CG mislead the aircraft to trim wrongly (automatically trim, fly by wire) and it takes off at a high pitch angle, causing it A-floor and very high climb rate, until stall and crash.This must be a bug, because I load the aircraft with Wilco own aircraft.cfg and .air file.After that I uninstall the whole FS9, wilco, no use!!Format the whole computer twice, still no use!!I know there are many people meet this problem, please help.Following is the printscr…

Has there been some change to the Skyvector website? I've had no problem accessing it until recently, now, all I get is an error; "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server". The EADS (Eurocontrol ) website has started giving log-in errors due to Java upgrades not working properly with it, but can still be used after logging in each time. That site says it works best, without errors, with Java 1.6.0_32 but both of my computers have automatically upgraded to JRE7. Has anyone else had problems and found a way round them? Thanks Colin B

Trying to restrict takeoffs and landings to different runways results in FS9 deciding that the runways so designated are closed. Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated.

I have been trying for a while to get an add on scenery to install. I followed the instructions in the readme file, and it goes into the addon scenery ok, but when I open the program the buildings that should be there are not. I tried changing the priority in the addon list ... that didn't work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the scenery ...that didnt' work. I tried uninstalling all the addon scenery except for the problem one and that didn't work. It doesn't say anything about having rwy 12 and ez installed, but I do have it. Hi, I have a Problem with this Aircraft. When i fly with this Aircraft in the default Scenery my Frames are good, but When I Flyer into a payware Scenery my Frames aren't good. With every other aircraft i fly, i have good Frames, in Payware scenerys, too. Can I get a better Performance When I change values in the aircraft.cfg?

Hi fellow flight simmers. Hope someone can help me out here. After switching to a windows 8 computer I started having a problem with fs9 ( the main panel frozen while the virtual panel works fine). When I use the safe mode the problem disappears. I would like to know exactly what the safe mode shuts down so I can try turning things back on one at a time to find out what exactly is causing the problem. The computer safe mode shutting down the startup programs and services routine didn't solve the problem. That's why I would like to know if the fs9 safe mode option in the troubleshooting shutting down section is turning off additional things??? thanks for your help.…

As some of you may recall I had problems I getting FS2004 to run on the 64 bit Windows 7 system I "upgraded" to last fall (including but not limited to having a previously selected menu option appear when going to select another or switching exterior/enterior views). Recently I discovered that there are motherboards still available (Z77 boards) that support Windows XP so I got one (MSI Z77A-G43 Gaming) and an Intel i3-3240 3.4 ghz cpu to go with it. Yeah, I know Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP April 8th (I couldn't care less, aside from one single time, I never needed support from Microsoft anyway but I digress...) I have asked this question in another forum somewhere else but I don't seem to be getting anywhere so thought I would try getting help here, I recently downloaded and installed Ground Environment Pro for FS2004 but there seems to be a problem with this programme on Windows 7, or at least on my PC.When I try to run the programme the first message I get is [microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified. I have been trying, without much luck, to find a good panel that WILL work with the Cam-Sim 787-xxx... That will work well in both FS9 and FS X...
