I haven't flown the CS 727 in a while. Wanted some practice last night and loaded her up. Not sure if my installation got messed up, but now I get a "Don't Sink" warning very shortly after takeoff. I honestly can't remember if it happened before or not. Is there a solution for this like editing the aircraft cfg? Maybe re-install?

Yeah, Me Again: Still have some questions...I have the registered version of FSUIPC...I have printed out the seven page list of commands available in the module, but can't seem to determine if these are in there somewhere: Is there a command that will simply pop up and close the GPS? Is there a command that will simply pop up and close the Radio Stack? Is there a command that will simply pop up and close the Map? Is there a command that will alternate between the GPS and Nav1? These commands may well be in there somewhere and called by some other name...Sometimes the terminology is confusing (at least to me!) Thanks for all of the assistance... Steve

Hi Again: I have a small separate keypad that I am trying to program for FS2004...Mainly the Autopilot functions...OK, I will try to make my question clear...Easy to assign buttons to functions like, AP On/Off, ALT Hold, etc...What I cannot figure out how to do is assign two buttons to raise and lower the values, i.e., "Alt Increase/Decrease", "Vertical Speed Increase/Decrease" and so on...Can someone give me a clue as to how to do this? Is it even possible? I really appreciate the help! Steve

Back Again: Does anyone know of a source of FS2004 icons? I want to use some of them on a control pad I am trying to build...You know; icons like GPS, Radio Stack, Map, etc...Not icons to use on an aircraft control panel...I just want to be able to print them and paste them on the buttons of the control pad...Thanks a lot... Hi everyone - hope you are flying 'straight and level - especially when that is the intention you are wanting to have!! Listen guys - just a silly puzzle - just bought a refurbed HP pc and am now on Win 7 i.s.o. XP. Sooo... just had to put FS2004 onto my pc - all o.k. except for the flipping jotstcik - plugged it in to the back of the pc as normal - and in fs2004 I enabled it - but the Cessna 152 just keeps going full right rudder no matter what!! Please help - I have gone blank - am missing something obvious - checked settings/sensitivities etc. but cannot 'see' anything surely Win 7 has nothing to do with my 'inside' settings on fs2004?? Is there any free software that would improve the accuracy of fs9's real world weather? I am no more than 20 miles from the nearest weather station in reality and I can look outside and it is overcast and raining heavily for example while in the sim it is set with something like light clouds with winds varying from 15 to 25 knots and this is how the real world weather is most of the time with almost no variation. The only thing that changes very much at all is barometric pressure and wind direction.

As the title says, I installed two sceneries into the simulator. Upon launching FS9, all AI traffic is missing, with the scenery and textures working fine. I realize some websites suggested looking for a traffic.bgl file that the addon scenery folder contained, but you can see for yourself that there are none in the folders: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=108372 http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=74698 Again, the sceneries work, but AI traffic disappears. Hi: I want to increase my FS2004 scenery by adding some terrain mesh...Not the computer-killing, high detail stuff, but just enough additional detail to improve the elevation and terrain for a bit more realism...I am considering the FSGenesis 19 scale mesh...Could a few of you share your opinions about this product and whether or not you consider it a good value for the money? I've just installed VFR Photographic Scenery (Horizon Simulations) and it's sitting at the top of the list in the Scenery Library in FS2004 but I can't get access to it. Obviously I've missed one or more of the essential installation processes. I'm running Windows 7. Can anyone help? I'm not up to speed with computer jargon so simple step by step would be great. Hey! When watching AI traffic in FS9, I would like to hear ATC that tower is talking to various AI aircraft in the Flight Simulator. When I fly myself in any aircraft, I can communicate with tower by tapping predefined numbers and tower answers me in predefined sentences. Would it be possible to hear that ATC chat when just watching AI aircraft flying arond? Greetz Jive1

I have had the 50 North 737's for the longest time, but for some reason I never got the modification that adds the winglets to the 300 and the 500. Does anyone know where I can get this??

Good day all, I have a question about the Wilcopub Embraer 170, which i am using very much lately..Sometimes when i am doing the approach, FS9 does a CTD..looking at the logbooks i see the fault lies withing the EJet.gau gauge..Is there someone who has experienced this and has a fix for this?..It seems this happens more when there is a 'discontinuity' message displayed on the FMS..What does this mean? Hello Flightsimmers, two days ago I decided to purchase the two wonderful Flightzone sceneries Portland and Rhode Islands. After the installation I noticed that my default SeaTac Airport is now on a plateau. A search on AVSIM showed me that this is a well known issue that could be fixed with a patch (http://forum.avsim.net/275905-flightzone-portland-mesh-patch ) Unfortunately this patch seems to be no more longer avaiable on the net, every downloadlink I found was dead. Hi Everybody It's been over a year since I last had the opportunity to do any FSing and during that time I've made only occasional visits to the forum. The love of the hobby never left me but some serious health and life issues just got in the way. I'm pleased to say that I had surgery two weeks ago that completely FIXED the problem that was CAUSED by a surgery I had over a year ago. The doctor who did the post-operative care of my surgery last year left an item behind inside my body that left me in constant pain and other nasty symptoms. Edward and I have been busy and have been creating some very good liveries for the Default Microsoft Curtiss Jenny JN4D aircraft. This old girl has not been a friendly model for repainters and there is a void of historical,Fact, Fun and Fictional liveries for her. Edwards, after a lot of research has come up with a bucket of historical aircraft data that we could paint up for the Jenny that would work with the "mirror mapping" and other qwerks in the overall model texture mappings. Hello, on today flight to EGLL i was approaching Great Britian when the black screen has appeared. I've windowed fs and then put it back to full screen... black screen wasn't there any more but textures were blurry and some even missing, also sound wasn't running. Shortly after that fs has crashed with classic "The application has encountered...". I know it already has been here on forum but no solution. Is there any? Thanks. I just got the saitek cessna pro flight yoke today to go along with my cessna pedals, the yoke is great and with a little lubrication very smooth, quite a step up from my saitek av8r that barely worked at times lol. One issue I am having is with the roll axis, moving the roll axis about 75% moves the roll in the simulator itself 50% the remaining 25% moves the control in the simulator the remaining 50%, this isn't a bad thing with a joystick or the normal proflight yoke, but the cessna one has a 90 degree roll axis like a real cessna, is there an easy way to get a linear control movement like with the pitch and throttle axis? Hi, recently I had some problems with FS9's logbook. I ran FS9 without any compatibility modes until now, but changed to Windows 7 compatibility mode (under Win7) to secure proper functioning of one of my favourite planes (see thread http://forum.avsim.net/topic/428671-dreamfleet-727-and-windows-7/) As result, FS9 will not close by clicking the little cross in the upper right corner but has to be closed via the menue. If this is done, FS9 crashs as soon as on program exit the logbook prompt would appear. If I set the parameter LOG_TIME=0 in the fs9.cfg, FS9 behaves absolute normal at exit I searched the forum and found some entries with this problem, but non…

Hi lads! I've tried to Google my problem, but I couldn't find a solution to my problem. :( I recently upgraded my computer from Windows XP Home edition 32-bit to a Windows 7 Home edition 64-bit. Also I installed a SSD which I installed FS9 on. And I did install it outside the Program Files x84 folder. Created an own folder just for FS9. Have turned off UAC also. Installed GE Pro on another drive via F1 tool from Flight1 which is on a HDD drive. Works Perfect! Hi folks... Using win 7/64, AMD Processor 3.2 ghz, integrated graphics card, 10 gb ram. When I hit the Alt Key and the 'menu' selections appear as expected. When I choose Level D, PMDG or FSCUIP I get a black screen. With FSCUIP, I can hit ESC and it returns to the sim, with the PMDG and Level D, I have to crash out the sim in order to have any response. Anybody experience this? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey, I would like any good cabin crew announcement add-on for FS2004 which will work when recorded. I've already tried FsPassengers but that one cannot be played back once recorded so I didn't really like it. So are there any other good quality cabin crew announcement add-ons and AI traffic sound add-ons for FS2004? Thank You
