Seems like maybe a different alternative to virtual pilots association or a better version of worldwide virtual? What I cannot seem to figure out is if they support general aviation flying as well. I personally would be interested in paying big bucks for the acars to use at my Virtual Airline. I consider myself pretty good with FS troubleshooting, but I'm at a loss with this one... I've been converting FSX airports to FS9 for some time now - and I'm now getting a horrific stutter with some of the converted scenery. The entire sim AND anything connected to it through FSUIPC will lock up for 1-5 seconds at a time... and sometimes, when it gets working again, it reloads the textures. Otherwise, even in a crowded area, framerates are high, up at my 30 FPS cap unwaveringly. I suspect that's due to a bad texture somewhere in my converted files BUT as far as I can tell, they're all DXT3 textures with mipmaps and DXTFixerX can't find any problems... does anyone els…

I tried to merge 747pmdg with posky 747-100. When I accelerate the plane turns slightly right and when I flying slowly bends to the right. Can you help me? Out of the blue, start fs9, I get, cannot run, Restricted user account. spent 3 days searching the forums and web, found other members with same prob. no foolproof fix. I have reinstalled the game and used fs9 on exterior drive no change. if I could be sure it would fix the prob. I would reinstall windows. I tried to run fs9 under admin. runs poorly, been running fs9 for ten years never had this prob. Help please. I never used my comp. for one week, noticed 7 security downloads from Microsoft august19 on start up. deleted them no change. thanks.

Hi all, First post here.. But basically my FS9 keeps crashing when ever I'm at Fukuoka airport in Japan at a certain time. I thought it was down to AI traffic so I removed them (WoAI) ran it again and it crashed again. I reinstalled the AI and tried them at Kobe and it was fine. I'm at a loss as to what could be causing it. Any ideas or tips would be great.

I downloaded and installed a new scenery for Sochi (URSS), the scenery overall is very nice but the default control tower and some other default builds are still in the scenery. I got the scenery from avsim.su (54581-URSS-FS2004-Relise.zip). Using Google translate I saw that someone has the same problem as I have, but I am having trouble seeing (or finding) if there was a fix. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi all, anyone know where I can get this base model zip from. It used to be on the AVSIM library pre the hackers attack, but since the rebuild has not reappeared. I have repaints but need the base model to give a modified GABS scenery some realism. Thanks in advance. Regards JohnT

I am running FS9 on windows 7 and using a B737-400 with PFE and FDC. Everything seems to be ok until about 10 minutes into the flight when the screen goes completely black and I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get back. Any help would be much appreciated regards Brian

FSX. P3D. Tweak this. Tweak that. Enough is enough. I just reinstalled and loaded up FS2004 with every available add-on. Smooth as silk. Framerate in the worst of circumstances is 100+. I fly ILS approaches regularly but today I tried a "Bloc" as no ILS was available. The flight was CYHZ to CYQI.Around 50 miles out I activated the approach and GPS then took me straight over the airport, I assume to the VOR and then circled to the right.I took over manually and flew on a downwind course until around 15 miles past the runway 06 and re-engaged GPS and NAV.GPS then took to the runway approach heading.Is this correct, and does selecting a VOR or NDB approach work in the same way?Previously I thought a dotted line course was shown on the GPS but this time there was nothing.

Gentlemen, It appears Frankfurt Main EDDF changed some of its ILS frequencies. I am flying PMDG aircraft with up to date ILS. However, these are not recognized by the Aerosoft Mega Frankfurt airport scenery. Does anyone know how to get aroud this problem? Thanks. Stanner

Hi, I'm having problems with the AI taxiing for takeoff or taxiing to gates, they just block each other when it comes to tight gates and taxiways, one is leaving the gate the other is taxiing to the next gate spot, one of them ends up vanishing. Is there a work around for these situations as they happen a lot on major airports. I have a screenshot for my example but I can't get it upload here. How do I upload a picture in the avsim forum, sorry if it's stupid but I don't find any attachments or whatsoever. Thanks in advance.

Hi I've tried to return to Fs9 using Windows 7 professional O/S I got the da;r;n thing to load and it ran briefly and I downloaded some aircraft which showed up on the A/C list then tried the addon scenery route did the run as a administrator stuff and had plenty of frustration trying to get the addon scenery to work without much success. I had to delete the program because something was making the program unstable. I thought I'll just reinstall the sucker, Ha not so! I tried three(3) times and each time I get this damn message " Aircraft Initalization failure do328jet Midwest", microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working" Now I deleted this aircraft from the aircraft …

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with the raindrops from the Virtual Cockpit. Can you please help me in fixing this? What could be the source of this problem? It appears on every plane, default, Ifly 737, Wilco Airbus, etc. I downloaded "vc_rain.zip" from the library, which should look like this:http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=file&ImageID=315169 But in my FS9 it looks like this: I installed another effect - same results. I've put the original VC Rain bmp files in the Texture folder - same result. I am clearly missing something here. Anyone, any ideas??
