Hi, Im a real world Commerical pilot who likes to use fs 2004 , Im happy with the look of fs 2004 except for a ''shimmering'' im getting on buildings and landscape. Below are my pc specs. Windows Vista Business 64-bit SP2 AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Orleans 64MB NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE (Dell) 2.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 267MHz Next are my video card settings, and fs 2004 settings (for my video card settings global settings are set as the same as program settings) Look forward to your replies on what settings to use on Nvidia Inspector for my specs and current setup. So I downloaded this fs time time program some years ago, worked really well to make fs darker, I now have windows vista and tried downloading it a few days ago without success, does anyone know the download link for fs night time (visa compatible) Thanks.

You bet it does!!! I'm presently in a flight with an A320, out of KFNT, headed for KMIA, running DSR at 2.0/33% WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FS9 looks grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat also with a factor of 1.5/33% The bodies of the jets...especially the engine and their nacelles, look as real as you can get them...and I still think that FS9, for the look of terrain at the FL's, STILL is above what even FSX or P3D.x can produce...and simply because of the palette color that is used in this sim. Hey guys, My title is pretty straight forward. I'm an FMC guy myself and use a payware FMC add-on for most of my aircraft BUT I still like having the option of using the GPS if needed. A while ago I noticed that the default GPS 500 is no longer working. When the command is selected for it, either a black box will appear or nothing at all. You will see a flicker of the cursor and then nothing comes up. I've checked all paths and assignments and everything is correct. I have also tried adding the original "fs9gps.CAB" file back into my install, which is found on Disk 2 of the install disks. hello everybody,Flying from KMSP (BluePrint simulations) to KDEN (Imagine Simulation) I got fs 9.1 shutting down on me.Error message stating that atc.dll caused the error but when opening the technical info I see quite a number of probable causes.Now I have read somewhere about act.dll but I can't find the thread anymore.I am using Windows XP 64bit.In the past I have flown quite a lot on Denver (from Imagine Simulation) and I have never experienced this kind of error.Can anyboy point me in the right direction?ThanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium

Simply put, I LOVE the Bombardier Learjet 45. I've never been able to find a quality addon of the aircraft, but just tonight I came across Friendly Panels Lear 45 2D panel addon over on SimMarket, released May 21 of this year.Does anybody have experience with this addon? Hello dear flightsimmers, Is there anyone around that has been able to make Aerosoft Maastricht X (FS2004) compatible with NL2000? Are there some files to add/remove to use the photoscenery of Aerosoft without NL2000 bleeding through or without "MESH" issues? Never really had issues with NL2000, and since EHAM is my both VA's HUB, (and EHRD/EHEH both focus cities) it is a must-have, i really love it. I know there was a solution for Aerosoft EHAM + NL2000 and i applied it succesfully after a few tries. It Works flawlessly since then. Since the NL2000 EHBK is low-quality (though NL2000 EHRD and NL2000 EHGG are nicely modelled) i decided to install aerosoft Maastrich…

Well, my flight sim 9 somewhat exploded in my face. I don't know why, but a lot of scenery files seems to have been corrupted. The weird things, I haven't installed any addons in weeks. Maybe a virus, or a glitch I dunno. My computer's been giving me hell, tough I don't care since it will soon be replaced. But anyway. My FS is dead. I don't want to reinstall EVERYTHING i have, this will take me hours. Is if not days. Are there any way to repair FS9, Even manually since the install program does not let me do anything and the 9.1 patch wont run since it's already installed... Hello, group. I am begging for some help here from those of you that are much more knowledgeable than I on this matter. I am setting up a new(er) computer for myself and right now my FS9 looks like complete crap. I am trying to add a picture here to show but can't figure out how to do it. What's the issue with the live default weather??? When i fly out of south Florida it is always thundering and raining even when it's not in real life. Why? I Have the real world weather selected.

I had recently tried to install Air Scheffel AS738 by the autorun function on my pc not realising until afterwards that you need to do it via the 'run as administrator' way when installing it to os WinVista which is what i have. Subsequently it caused the aircraft initialisation failure Cessna Skyhawk 172, not allowing FS9 to run. i looked for advice on how to solve this, knowing that an uninstall/re-install is not the way to do it, and read that it was advised to run disc 1 and take the cessna172 from the MSGAME1.zip file using WinRAR to read and extract it. i did this, now the aircraft initialisation failure has gone but there is only Cessna 172 listed on the c…

Hello fellow simmers . I'm having this weird problem on my fs . I have this shimmering flickering noticeable at night , mainly on clouds and tarmac , or lights like i'm showing in the screenshot below. Please tell me if you can see it on the jpeg file below. It resembles the flickering of a TV when it has no image , all those white and black little dots. Never seen this before. I have a ATI radeon r5 graphics laptop card , tried to mess with AA , filtering , mip mapping , nothing worked. Updated to last drivers as well. thank you very much

Ok, desperate situation here : I need terrain.dll because my Fs2004 wont launch and keeps telling me the file is either missing or damaged. There are way too much addons for me to spend countless hours tomorrow to re-install everything, or having the CD installer overwrite addons and create a mess on my FS. I have FS 9.1. Eventually, does running the FS9.1 patch can solve the problem??? Thanks in advance...

I purchased a cheap copy of FS2004 recently. However when I install it I discover its actually a German version.I attempted to install the English service pack 1. But it didn't work saying ATC.DLL was missing or modified. So I installed the German service pack 1. Then I tried replacing language.dll from an English FS2004. That didn't help. All the menus and text are still in German. I also tried an English language.dll from FSX but that didn't work either.How do I turn it into English text?

Hello everyone. Long story short, I'm eager to return to the virtual skies after a long break. I have a real history with the PMDG 737NG, but that was long ago, approx. 2010, and since then a lot of things have changed. The question is to those who tried and flew the both PMDG and iFly model: what is the real difference? Which one has more realistic systems simulation and flight model? Graphically, especially in relation to the virtual cockpit, iFly beats PMDG, but that's not what is important for me. Thanks in advance.

Has PC Avaitor gone belly up? Been trying to contact PC Avaitor about an order I placed Aug 30th (and have yet to receive) but they haven't responded to a message I posted on their website a week ago. i've tried calling yesterday but have up after being left on hold for over a half hour. When I called today the automated system didn't even pick up the phone. BTW, how do I keep the menu from collasping right after the AVSIM website pops up? I also don't seem to be able to do a topic search anymore...I know I haven't been on the website much (other than to do whats new searches on the library) lately. Apparently I've missed something (or didn't get the memo)....

I asked this question at Eaglesoft's forums but I am not sure if it's a Eaglesoft problem. So I will ask here as well.When I use the Citation X or the Beechjet my sim freezes. I was just trying to do a flight using the Citation X and the sim froze 2 different times. Twice at the terminal setting up the plane for the flight and another time when taxing to the runway I paused the game and the computer froze. This also happens witht the Beechjet too.Weird thing is I can hit the esc key and the sim will go to the main menu so I can exit the sim. Any ideas what is going on??(I haven't had this problem with any of my other planes or Eaglesoft planes I have)

Hi. Does anyone here know if Playsims are still trading, and specifically, working on the last Scottish volume of photoscenery for FS2004? Nothing seems to have been updated on their website for over a year. Back in May I mailed them and received a reply from Flightstore (same chap, two jobs?) indicating it would be at the printers in June but that's so long ago it feels like a former life... Cheers, Dave
