Specifically, in FS2004, Millwood Lake which is situated in Arkansas has an enormous error in which half the surface of the lake is 15,000 ft below sea level. Has anyone experienced problems getting their radio to work in their iFly 747? I've gone through the start up word for word, the radio is on, but when I try to listen to ATIS, request clearance, anything....I get nothing, no transmit, no receive! HELP!!Thanks- Jason

Hello, I hope this question isn't to vague or needlessly complicated. I usually have my traffic slider set at 80%. No problems anywhere in the world, but if I try to load a flight from airports in Southern California - KLAX, KBUR, KLGB, KONT, KPSP and at KPHX at Dawn or Dusk.... the status bar gets to Loading Traffic 92% then it stalls and after a few seconds I get the "encountered a problem must close" popup. If I select the same flight (aircraft/airport) at Day or if I move my Traffic slider to 50% or less, the flight/airport loads fine. Hi, I recently downloaded and installed the very nice Portland KPDX 2010 scenery by Sidney Schwartz and Pater Ham. Unfortunately, if I place my plane at KPDX, all surrounding textures get blurried from one second to another. I know that this kind of phenomenon was caused by some object library texture files; I therefor installed updates 1-3 für Sidney Schwartz' EZ object library textures without success. Furthermore, duplicate libraries could be a problem (duplicates floating around with not-updated textures), with eliminating them from other places than my dedicated Rwy12 and EZ library folders I was able to solve a similar problem at another airport. Hello all, I've recently started using vasFMC for all of my Airbus twin-engine aircraft models and so far all of my flights were very successful. And now, I'm intending on installing the vasFMC for my Airbus A350. Unfortunately, the vasFMC I have does not have a profile set up specifically for Airbus A350's. Is it possible for me to fly Airbus A350's using the vasFMC panel for that matter? If so, is there a specific profile I can get online for the A350's or should I just use the Airbus A330 profile for the A350's? Thank you for your help, William Song

I purchased FScene4X advertised in the top right corner of this site, I downloaded the software then I went through a process of having to register with Flight1 then I went to purchase the product, I had the selection of using my bank card or PayPal. I chose PayPal, then it said it was getting the PayPal account page that never appeared, so then I selected Bank Card, this worked to a degree. It then said it would send me a key code, nothing happened, so I went on my account on Flight1 website, it said my cart was empty, I tried to contact their customer support but it seemed to be sending me in circles so I never contacted them. I recently reinstalled fs2004 on my computer windows 7 nividia gtx 570 and love the high fps I have been getting especially with active sky weather turned up. My current problem however is that I can't get fs2004 to work in windowed mode. Upon intial startup no plane is shown in startup menu unless I go to full screen. Also when in the game when I try to go from full screen to windowed mode the screen blacks out or freezes and I can only view it if I go back to full screen. The main reason I want to operate in windowed mode is that I have two monitors and would like do work etc. on the second monitor during long flights. Just wondering what the performance of this new plane is like? I was on the Flight1 site checking out the system requirements and it looks like this add on is going to be a beast (by FS9 standards). Hi there! Wonder if this has ever been discussed. I have the Airbus package, incl A380. Using the Flightplanner, with altitude set, most of the planes from the Airbus Package are going up and down, causing the game to alert me with wrong altitude. It goes 5-700 feet too high, before going down, coming through the designated altitude until the plane is 5-700 feet too low. Anyone who has experienced this, and woulkd there be a working solution to the problem?? Happy for any help, please. brgds Kim

For the last three or four days, after I start my computer and then try to start FS2004, FS2004 will not start. The little green circle rotates for three or four seconds normally like it is starting up, but then nothing else happens. If I again click on my FS9 execution, the circle appears only for a split second. I discovered that if I restarted my computer, FS9 starts up and performed normally. This morning, FS2004 will not start. FSX has no problem No changes have been made, nor adders or deletions since this scenario began. I've been using FS9 for years. I've heard plenty about how it's limited to only use 2 GB of RAM, about how it's old and how people used to get OOMs one in a while. I've kinda got the opposite problem - I'd LOVE it if my copy of FS9 would use more than 500 mBs of RAM! I get nasty stutters when loading large textures - I suppose that's not terribly unexpected given the amount of data that needs to be loaded into memory. Sadly, every time I pan around, those textures get lost and need to be reloaded - there seems to be no residence time in the memory for such things. I think there must be something wrong, since this is a terrible issue and since FS9 has never been observed …

I took a long break from FS and have slowly been getting back into it. I'm finding I've forgotten much of what little I previously knew. Not long before taking my break, I bought the PMDG 737NG for FS9 but never really did anything with it. I'm trying now to get the hang of it and going nuts trying to autoland. I'm using the guide by Mike Ray and it's very helpful, but I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong. In the first tutorial flight, I take off from 34R and everything goes great until about a mile from landing on 16L. Suddenly, the second autopilot just shuts off and I'm on my own. Hello everyone have, I'm back to FS after a long spell, I am only running it on a laptop at the moment but it's not too bad. I don't have the sliders on max or any fancy scenery. I've recently set up some ai aircraft and slowly catching up with some of the newer stuff that came out after I left the sim, I do have FSX but it won't run on this machine, or not very well anyway so for now I'm still with FS9. Any way my first question, I always like to have a quick look at the map just to see where I am out of interest, but in the last couple of days it doesn't update, when I click on it it just shows the AC at the start airport and this is after I've been flying for a w…

A long time ago someone came up with a fix to stop the water from rising up the cliffs on the coast just north of PHTO Hilo. I've searched for it and can't find it. Can anybody help me out with this? "Surf's up" is to be expected in Hawaii but these things are ridiculous!

Basically, it is about the simulation of a first officer in connection with speech recognition and text to speech. I just recently reinstalled fs2004 and have really been enjoying the high fps I have been getting with everthing maxed out. (ai traffic, rex, active sky, various addon airports gex,utx and ifly 737) My one issue is jaggies / shimmering. I used nicks guide in simforums (2010) however still getting the jaggies /shimmering. Does someone have a current nivia inspector setting ? (nividia driver I have is 344.65 /inspector version 1.9.7.3) Thank-you

Hello. I seem to remember a long time ago there was some adjustment that could be made to the fs9.cfg file, somewhere, that would allow the terrain to show crisper from a great distance than the default when flying at altitude. Typically the terrain will look better the closer you get. But, this adjustment, whatever it was, would allow the ground to look better at a greater distance. Does anyone recall what I need to adjust to make this happen? Thanks!

Hi. My problem is with RPLL scenery I downloaded from avsim (http://library.avsim...php?DLID=163772). When I try to open the flight planner, FS2004 crashes. It only happens with the RPLL scenery and other sceneries in the file I downloaded. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi guys! I need help regarding on my descent. As i start my descent using VNAV from ToD, my speed getting increase more and more and end up into overspeed. I tried to avoid using speedbrakes unless there's a tailwind. Can anyone help me how to control my descent speed and without using speedbrakes? And one more question! At what altitude is the most suitable to start extending the flaps? Thks! Joel
