Hello my problem is the flying/auto pilot of the PSS Boeing 77 and maybe 757. When I increase the simulation rate to 2x or faster the autopilot or flight dynamics go wild. The planes pitch bounces up and down starting at -/+ 100 and increasing until you take over, or decrease simulation rate to normal. Is there any way I could fly with a fast simulation rate without the planes pitch fluctuating? Thank you.

Hi there, What is the best altitude to start extend the flaps after we reach the best flap speed? by the way I'm flying the pmdg 737. Normally during descent i would start to extend flaps 1 to 5 at FL150. Talking about realism, am I doing the right thing? Thanks. Joel

Well..I just bought both..and installed both on my system. They both seemed to install to the end result. Nothing of the two programs shows up in the Scenery Lib. I have a Flight One folder in the parent FS9 folder, with what appears to be the programs, but I have tried to manually bring them into the scenery lib...and can't for the life of me. It seems that the install(s) failed to bring both into FS9 So...how do you manually let FS9 know they are there?!?!?!? I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me. I am working on a new system where FS9 has been setup and things transferred. Everything seems to be working okay except for an outside view issue with one aircraft. Specifically the Cessna 310 by Rey Lopez. The outside view now is all skewed and looks really funny and this didn't happen on the other system. The new system is a quad monitor setup but this strage behavior only seems to be happening with this plane. Does anyone know what could be causing something like this? Thanks!

I still get great visuals, and where ever I set the FPS, it stays there....with no fluctuation. Just leaving CYVR (Vancouver Intl, bound for CYYZ (Toronto Pearson)...and honestly, I think the REX for FS9 clouds are just as good as anything the SOFT CLOUDS products is putting out. Really.... I also think that they got it right, all those years since FS9 has RTM, and even with today's modest system specs....you are going to have a gold experience. You wanna take off, sans a slide-show? Done. You wanna shoot a fabulous and smooth approach? Done...and no more dropping hundreds of dollars chasing a few more FPS upon other platforms. Anything at, or above a GTX 2…

Just sorting through FS9 terrain mesh offerings...and wonder if mesh rated at 70M will be strikingly different visually from standard FS9 mountainous depictions? Not really too 'mesh' literate...and would appreciate comments from others that have done their due diligence in this area... Thanks! Mitch

Sorry if I am being dense here but I cannot locate the Blueskyscenery PHNL/Honolulu scenery anywhere - not on their download page and Googling hasn't helped. Is the scenery still available? There are screenshots of it around on the web (it includes the airport, yes?) - could anyone kindly post a download link, if there is one? Thanks a lot! Martin

I am using Dee Waldren's Piper Navajo for AI at King Salmon and I find that it disappears from sight at a distance when other planes that are further away are still visible. I am talking about when on the taxiway, not when flying. Is this adjustable, or is it part of the .mdl file and therefore not accessible?

Just upgraded my PC and OS. Running win7x64. Re-installed fs9. Now attempting to install AS6.5. The program wants to install dotnetfx.exe but it is not compatible with 7x64 - installation cancels. Is there a solution? Trevor

Hey! I have the Boeing Chinook bbc47.zip and I want it to use as an AI helicopter. I've tried everything possible to get it AI flying, but no luck! What can be a reason why it does not want to fly as an AI helicopter? I can see it when I use it as a normal helicopter and I manage it myself, but when at that moment I want to use it as an AI, I just don't see it... Anybody has a suggestion? Greetz Jive1

I am working abroad and, so as not to be totally FS-less, have brought a Dell XPS M1730, which runs FS9 pretty well. The O/S is WinXP x64. The huge advantage of this is that I can get FSHotSFX back, and my airports have all come alive with AI traffic sounds again. I had almost forgotten how good it was!! So much so, I am tempted to go back to XP on my main FS PC in the UK, when I get back there (no time soon). There will be negatives, I am sure, but I have all the drivers running OK on the XPS laptop - for my X52 and so forth. Can anyone think of a strong argument for NOT doing this? I know that XP is no longer supported.. It would be a dual boot affair - but the XP …

This wouldn't be for a while as I am abroad and won't have access to my FS PC for several months yet, but... I know XP is no longer supported but I still have an installation disc for XP x64 and I am thinking of adding it as a dual boot to the Win 7 x64 PC I use just for FS9/FSX... for the sole reason that I would be able to use FSHotSFX again! I wouldn't need to do anything to my current FS folder, I can of course use the same folder for XP after installing the FS9 (& FSX, though I rarely fly that) DVDs. The main panel on my DF 727 has begun loading in the upper half of the screen only, so I have to drag and resize it every flight. Anyone else have this happen?

I have posted more than once on this topic, but not for a couple of years, so I am starting a new thread. Folks who know what this is all about will I am sure understand why! As I am abroad for work for an extended period (two years), I have brought FS9 on an Dell XPS laptop (it works OK, better than nothing anyway). The one big advantage over my PC back home is that I installed XP (x64) as the O/S, so can run FSHotSFX on it... I tend to forget what a difference this makes to airport environments - the coming and going of the AI traffic is just wonderful. It is SO sad that the programme won't install with a Windows 7 O/S!! Well, there is none, freeware or payware, apart from one very simple file that adds some gates. Please feel very free to contradict me! Otherwise, any takers among scenery creators more up to the task than I am? (FRF??)... Martin

I urgently need a patch file to make Holger Samdmann's scenery "Columbia River Gorge compatible" with UT USA (FS9). The file from Holger is called "utusacrg.zip". While I have UTX products for FSX and really like what it does for that product, I was wondering if the UTX products for use in FS9 gives the same 'bang-for-the-buck'. Any user's opinions of these products within FS9 is sought, here. For the cost, did you , the user, find it a much better visual representation of FS9? I am really attracted back to FS9 for performance, and sought to heighten the visual experience. I fly all the major sims (and have them...), but FS9 has never taken a back seat in my view, to the use of each. This is my 'Big Iron' simulator, hand's down. This problem does not happen with every flight - it's an ocassional but annoying one. I have frame rates locked at 30. After flying for 40min or longer, I have noticed that the frame rates have dropped to 3-6. The sim becomes unflyable. I've tried to refresh scenery and turn AI traffic off. But this does not help. Even restarting FS does not help - it starts up at 3-6 frames. The only thing that does help is to re-boot my computer. What could be causing this problem? Specs are: E8400 core 2 duo @ 3.0 Win xp SP3 4 Gb DDR3 ram @ 1333 nVidia GTX 560ti Trevor
