Just a heads-up guys and gals.

I have been searching for over 2 weeks and none of them have vc????????? whats the reason to make a aircraft that you can't use?

I mean how hard is it to make a simple cockpit I don't care If It doesn't have apu or you can't like press every button but really? whats the use for aircraft without vc? I can't see with the 2d

Hi all, Please move this post if it's the wrong place. I've been racking my brains on a set up so my son can be my co-pilot. The idea is, that I run fs9, in vc on one pc while he's sat at a networked pc with the co-pilots vc view but has his own controls and is able to interact with the same controls I can (flaps, gear etc), like a real co-pilot does ( he is only 10 also). Is there a way to do this?? I have a registered copy of FSUIPC and WideFS. I can run my weather etc from the networked pc. I have FS9 installed on the second PC also. Spent a very late night (morning), pulling my hair out last night and being frowned at by my wife!! Anyone help or sen…

I was just fixing up my AFCAD for FlightZone's Portland scenery and after I was done I went into the sim to see the results of my AFCAD fix. While going around the airport I noticed a rather large mound that is going along the shore of the Columbia river and it is between the river and runway 10L/28R. (it follows the shoreline) I don't think I noticed it there before. I was wondering if that is supposed to be there (maybe it's for flood protection?) or do I have a mesh error? I do have mesh, but it is not installed (I only install mesh when I am flying in the area).

Hi guys, I've got a question about my fs9 aircraft folder. I use alot of ai traffic but it affects my framerates bad when I'm at serious busy airports like Ord and Jfk. In all the years I have fs9 I added lots of traffic from different sources. ( Aig, WoAi, Ghiom, Utt). I also have different aircraft from different sources ( Faib, Djc, and so on) All these planes are widespread in my aircraft folder. In what way does the way I organised this folder, affects the frame rates? Do you have suggestions? Thanks!

Aloha, I am using a fantastic A300 panel by Benoit Gaurant for FS2004. It has been around for some time now and I'm quite surprised actually that there are no internal 2D cockpit views.. I have managed to get a couple and they are okay but I was wondering if there some other high def/better quality 2D, A300 - 200 cockpit views lurking about. I have scoured the net for some but i cant find any.. Some from the captains seat: Left, forward left, forward right and right is all I would really need... just cant find anything :( .. Does anybody know where I might be able to acquire these?.. Defo cant be from a 600 model either.. fussy I know but at least It aint a cry ou…

Hi FS9ers are there any tricks with the default FS9 ATC system during the approach phase of the flight where you can get less left and right turns when preparing to get close to the destination airport? I was on approach and a was told to turn left heading 075 then turn right to heading 120, the vise versa....its like Im doing S turns to the airport ( St Martin Princess Juliana Airport from San Juan, PR). I notice many of my approaches are like that..a constant back and forth on the same headings until Im told to intercept the ILS. Thanks Bill

I downloaded a scenery for Svetlogorsk (UOIG) in Russia from the Russian avsim site. In the zip folder the is a folder that has 5 files HL971070.bgl, HL971080.bgl, HP971070.bgl, HP971080.bgl, and 971080_1.bgl. I know these files go into the FS9\scenery\asia\scenery folder but does anyone know what these files are for? There is no readme file with this scenery and I do not know if those files are a backup and I am supposed to delete the original files or am I supposed to replace the original files with these new ones. I did install the scenery without doing anything with those HP and HL files and the scenery looks ok, but I do not know what I am actually looking fo…

Dear Simmers, I'm having an issue with the A320 IAE merge.I am experiencing a very low EPR setting on the upper Ecam ( upon take off roll..the value of EPR is being maxed till 1.47, EGT to 508 and obviously the A/C climbs very slowly ) I have a program to edit the airfile called Aired,however I totally forgot which line and also parameters I must edit. I have FS2009 in combination with ASE (Active Sky Evolution), I've made a flight from Groningen to Paris, but I did not really feel the storm that was in Holland. Could it be that I have an outstanding option in FS2009 that the wind not playing part to the flight I would like that the wind will be a part of the flight, how can i turn this future on. I also use FSUIPC

Ok, first of all i've changed spotlight.bmp in Texture folder, but when its foggy, i still see those triangle looking light beam. For example, on ARIANE 737, i don't see them, but on every PMDG plane 737,747,MD11, it's there. Is there any other texture that i have to change, to get rid of those triangles looking landing lights?Sometimes, when it's fog, and night time i don't even see runway and taxiway....thanks!

Have had the Wilco/Feelthere Airbus deluxe evo. package on my hard-drive for a long time. I did not bother with it as I could never find a way to get my GoFlight TQ6 unit to work with it. Read the info for the upgrade for this package recentely and it referenced that changes had been made to make it compatible with more throttle units. So...I thought I would give the upgrade a go as I would really like an Airbus in my sim (something a little more up to date than the trusty PSS bus). Installed per the devs directives, and upon selecting one of the 319 crafts, the sim crashed upon loading. After several re-installs and a lot frustration I have managed to get it to work abo…

Hey guys. Just reverted back to FS9 for one of my favorite add ons. This add on (ES Hawker 400XP) is modeled extremely well, as I RW fly it. So as this model is an FS9 aircraft I find it just works better in FS9, so much so I wish to enhance FS9 the best way I can. To that end. I grabbed a copy Active Sky Evolution. Wow. Awesome. I have been researching what other environments I can or should add next. Would y'all be kind enough to give suggestions both payware and freeware, I would appreciate it. Thanks!!

I have a Paul Craig Duke B60 flies good but engines wont start. I have to jump, start it by starting a 172 and then switching planes into my Duke. There must be a better way. JGSJW

Last used fs9 on xp. Would appreciate any info on proper install on Windows 7 Home Premium. Have done google searches with confusing results. Thanks in advance

Hi Everyone, I've been working on some XML code I found for wing vortexes in FS2004. I haven't gotten the code to work yet (not sure why) but I want to modify it so that the condensation only appears in the correct conditions. Seeing as the SSTSIM Concorde already seems to have this down, I was wondering if anyone knew the exact conditions for the SSTSIM's condensation effects and how to translate that into XML that works?
