I found new scenery for Sofia (LBSF) for FS9 and FSX which can be found here http://vrcreations.webs.com/apps/photos/ I installed the FS9 version and have grey grass instead od green grass. I emailed the developer about it and he said that my problem have never been reported before. I was wondering if someone can install the FS9 version of this scenery and see if they have grey grass also or is it just me. Also any ideas how to fix it??

Hello fellow fs9 simmers, I have been doing a lot of merging for my aircraft now, and since the TDS 787 is a great aircraft, I had decided to merge it with an panel. Today I bring you the TDS/PSS 787 merge. It is far from done and I was hoping that there would be someone who know's how to edit FDE's. I only edited the air files to make them work wit the PSS panel. Originally I had this on my blog so that I can show people my progress every week. But now I'm stuck since I don't know much of what I need to change in the air file and aircraft config. Hi, After planning a flight, weight & balance etc using Topcat & PFPX, does anyone know if the weight and balance is transferred into the IFly 737 cfg or do I also have to set up the IFly weight & balance using the dedicated confit program for the aircraft?

Hey guys, I got a problem that is driving me nuts. I decided to make a second fs9 install (to do some retro flying) . I followed what I thought were all the proper steps: Renamed original exe and folder. Installed fresh one. Check, installed okay. Tried to run 9.1 updater for fresh install and get error 34. Tried Microsoft's suggestion of fixing registry Tried Flight1 reg fixer Put 9.1 update exe file in the new fs9 root folder Moved everything out of fs9 config folder to let the new install build a new one. I've tried all these steps and still get error 34!!!!!!! Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Not really meant to be a mini-review, rather a line in the sand... What a great looking model, and long-awaited as the Last Big Thing for FS9. Overall the model is beautifully made. The nose is a tad too pointy, but the rest is so good one isn’t distracted too much. First step was to install a new panel, and there’s a nice looking (ongoing) project by Wilhelm Luditz and others. fs2004_tds_b787_panel_project.zip There were issues with nosewheel contact points at one time but these were sorted by including [VC] sections in the panel for the XML coding. The jet was a bit too eager to fly off, and a fix for the FDE has been posted at flightsim.com.…

I downloaded this plane again and was going to start flying but say that it uses the default King Air 350 flight dynamics. Can someone recommend some better flight dynamics for this plane? The visual model is very nice, but the default King Air flight dynamics are not that good.

Hello. I have a problem. When user and ai aircraft are approaching PHNL (Honolulu international airport, Oahu island) they go around the island. The real approach is it goes over the airport and turns towards the runway (like San Francisco if you are approaching East of the airport). Is there any way I can change the approach or download an application that does it for me?

So, one thing I've never really messed with in FS is contrails. I know there are some payware products out there for this, but, those aside, what can I do to make the contrails a bit better? I was able to find a freeware item to improve the look but I'm not 100% sure what changes I can make that will not only make the contrails actually appear when they should but also make them last an amount of time that is a bit more real. If anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi, How do I set the cc to return to a particular position it has taken me to arrange. When I press the space bar the view zooms right in and I can hardly see any of the panel. I would like to set a position in my cv and then have a button that when pressed, takes me back to my set view after I have panned around the vc. Cheers

In Honolulu international airport The plane goes around the airport (the island) and approaches then lands on the runway. In real life, it goes over the airport then lands on the runway. Is there any way I can do this?

Okay so i know the game isnt dead, all of us here still play it - i sure do, but what i mean is the online community. I have fshostspy, so i can see what servers are up, but almost every time i go to see whos online, all the 10 people who are online are on fsx. Is this seriously the entire msfs community? How can i fly online with other people without joining a VA?

I have a external drive where I saved everything including all my flightsim stuff. I had a whole load of planes (payware and freeware) saved to a external hard drive (I kept them there when not using them). Well the drive failed and it is not working (it's not getting any power). The drive did not give any warning that it was going to fail. :angry: I feel devastated I lost all the planes I had. Anyone else have something similar happen? Did you start buying the planes again?

Hey guys, I seem to have these ugly red blotches on the ground at night (not sure if I ever noticed them before) . I use GE Pro. I also use SweetFX. I thought maybe there was a SWeetFX setting that was causing the problem but I disabled all the settings and still got this. Is there a fix for this or is this a common problem? Thanks for any help.

I downloaded a A319-100 and A321-200 and would like the fuel tanks to be loads correctly as in real life. In the aircraft config section of each aircraft what are the numbers that should be listed so that i have the max possible fuel for each aircraft? This is what i have right now. Hi, sorry to bother you here but the aerosoft guys don't seem to be helpful at all in their forums...I have a texture problem at this airport, just have a look for yourself, maybe you also bought the scenery and are a bit upset about it know like I am. Hi, I was opening AI-aircraft editor and all of a sudden nothing works anymore. When I open it I get this message : Run-time error '76': Path not found then it opens but nothing shows up and whatever I click nothing shows up or applies or simply anything. It was working fine just a few seconds ago. I was installing new AI aircrafts and used the editor to check the textures using the model viewer. But now poof everything gone, I uninstalled and reinstalled, still same error. Any help please appreciated. Thank you.

Just installed Virtualcol SKBO FS9, when I took off I noticed that near the airport are three craters. I think that this is a mesh issue (upside down mountains ?) Have Global 2008 amongst other add-ons. I had a similar problem at Rio de Janerio which was sorted out by disabling a file. Is this issue with the area around Bogota known, and if so how it can be corrected. Unable to post a photo.

Okay... I've been struggling with FS2004 performance for about 3 days now, and in that time I have tried to do every single thing I can think of to bring it back up. The details: A couple days back, I set up a whole bunch of settings in NVIDIA inspector for FS9 to use. After I did that, I noticed my performance had tanked. Turns out I had accidentally turned off compatability with Optimus, which didn't allow my NVIDIA card to be used with FS9. I fixed that, no problem, and performance saw a huge boost with all my planes with a test flight around Seattle by FlyTampa. Frames went from about 10 to well over 60 so I had no issue, or thought I didn't. The next day, or yesterd…
