Hi. I have a number of airports where I always find Baron 58s, Cessna 172s etc. parked at gates next to large jets.. sometimes the gates have jetways, sometimes not, but whatever, it looks silly! For instance, I've bought Thai Creation's VDSR from SimMarket today (a lovely scenery!!), and little single props are parked at large gates (big enough for 747s) next to my Airbus a321 - but that's not at all the only example. These are not static a/c, as they change over time (and there are no static a/c bgl files in the folder). I checked the AFCADs and where gates have been designated GA Parking, I have changed them to gates but to no avail, the little Cessnas etc.are …

I just noticed there's no fuel gauge in the 777 vc where the middle black box is, is there a way to put a fuel gauge there or can I just get a 2d one to open when im in the vc? I have both Flytampa VHHX and Imaginesims VHHH. Currently, I have AI Traffic going for VHHH but I would also like to have AI traffic at VHHX. Is there a way to have both?

I load a flight plan, calculate VNAV and once airborne ACTIVATE and EXECUTE. The FMC turns on the ALT and SPD autopilot but DOES NOT follow the flight plan route. Once executed the HEADING function is NOT turned on by the FMC. The FMC follows the ALT and SPD assignments correctly on the flight plan. Direct to a fix will not work either. All you FMC guru's any idea? Windows 7 FS9 Aircraft is the TDS 787 with a panel in which the FMC gauge was included.

Hello all, I have known for a while now that now-defunct DSB produced the Buccaneer for FS9 as part of a UK Fighters pack. Their website is now non-existent so I can't download it. Looking on other forums and topics it says it can be distributed via PM. Would anyone be able to direct me to getting one via PM(not quite sure what that is). Just when you thought you had it all... I idly paged through Arjan's website the other day, and realised there was a gauge I hadn't installed! It's called "Rainwash Gauge" http://www.airscheffel.com/ The screens don't really show it, but it's a very good effect, not like smoke at all, the droplets look "heavy" and settle quite quickly. If the airport has AES-enabled wet runways (sorry these screens at NZRO do not) it's all very convincing indeed. Does anyone have (or know where I can find) download ID 127972 (I don't know the file name). This file was lost back when avsim was hacked. It went with the old Winnipeg (CYWG) scenery made by David Madge and Adam Bentley (the file name is cywg_v101.zip). I think I remember that this file added extra buildings to the Winnipeg scenery.

Hi. I have been out of flight simulation for a few years now and have only recently come back to it - a bit. Two kids, marriage, a new job etc has not left me any real time to fly. I'm considering purchasing Fly Tampa's CYUL, but have concerns about my hardware's ability to handle it. I have an Athlon FX60 dual core processor and 768MB NVidia card and, I think, 2 Gigs of system RAM. Very old technology, I know. I can run Fly Tampa's KBOS smoothly enough with my LDS 767. Would CYUL be a lot more demanding than, say, the KBOS scenery? Thanks in advance. Adam

I went to the vatsim.net website, but I didn't see anything to help. I think I am registered there but I can't log in and there is no information on contacting the webmaster. FSInn was working fine for months until 3 day ago. Then suddenly for some reason something is preventing it to connect. I've had the same security I've always had Comodo with no changes. It is my anti virus and firewall. It is allowing FSInn to connect, because it ask me whether or not I want to allow it, but something else seems to be blocking it. If anyone has any idea what is going on, please post. Thank you.

Hi! I just switched from FSX to FS9 and I am LOVING the performance gain so far! I could barely get 10 fps in high density scenery areas in FSX, and in FS9 I am getting over 30 fps. The only thing I miss is the accuracy of the roads in FSX. In FS9 the roads can only be made out when you're above 1000 ft, and I don't believe they are accurate to the real world locations. I saw a program called Ultimate Terrain USA for FS9 advertising that the roads are in their real world locations, but the program doesn't have much publicity and most of the reviews I find are for the FSX versions. Does anyone know if the road accuracy is true and if it's worth the upgrade to UT USA? A…

Dear readers! What is better, EvoFs9 or OrbxFs9 global texture?

Just installed the carenado C90 for FS9, and have yet to make a successful flight in it. I can't seem to figure out how to change the HDG bug and rotate the CDI needle for the EHSI. I have tried from the VC (the unit between the seats) and from the 2D pop up AP unit. The knobs won't rotate. Anyone had this problem? PT

Can someone please help. I just bought carenado's c90 King Air, I so desperately wanted to fly a quality aircraft. After trying to use this thing twice, I am so frustrated I'm ready uninstall it now. I know trying to contact carenado would be a waste of time. There is no documentation that I can find. How do you operate the A/P? I can't change the OBS, I can't use the nav radios, and the GPS is so clumsy. Why would anyone buy one of these things. Where are the checklists? Has anyone successfully flown this aircraft? I just got the FS Global 2010 box set and I spend the past 4 hours waiting for it to install. I told it where FS9 files were ... it report it found it. After 4 hours waiting for it to install and being told it installed successfully .... I didn't see it anywhere in my files. :huh: I had 64Gb of free space in the partition FS9 is installed before the install and I still have 64Gb free. I have FS9 on a drive that is not the C drive. I have it installed in a separate partition. I went to the manufacture's website for support, but I didn't see anything. Does anyone know what the heck happen???? Hey! I wonder why some sceneries of Antarctic bases are not visible on the FSNavigator Map? I can see these sceneries, but cannot find them using the FSNav map.... Anybody has seen tghat too? Any explanation and any help to avoid the invisibility? Greetz Jive1

Hi Good People The Ford Project Team has decided to have a bit of a wild digression from the Historical stuff for a little while and build a fun/fictional scenery pack. No doubt many of the slightly more senior simmers may be aware of the Comic Book Blackhawk Hero's. Lot of science fiction mixed in with some science fact and tons of super hero stuff by the Blackhawk Squadron Team. We have tried to capture that comic era with a comprehensive scenery package including lots of AI aircraft and some flyable aircraft as well. I have Active Sky Evolution on my home PC. Can I also install and use it on my laptop? I would only be using one computer at any given time so would not be attempting to make 2 connections at the same time. I would either be using one or the other. (PC or laptop) Secondly, any tips to get the best fps possible in bad weather? I find I can max everything out in FS9 and use the iFly 737 with constant fps but when I have bad weather, the fps really drops. All other times fps are always very steady even using FS9 default bad weather. Issues only occur with Active Sky bad weather. I've been using the default FS9 textures, no mods there.
